The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

Just had the pleasure of attending the inaugural Sunday lunch, it was excellent, great portion size and delicious, thankyou

We arranged a large group for a kid's football team Christmas party with little notice & everything was organised really easily. The meals all arrived together & were really tasty & well presented. Lovely evening which everyone enjoyed. Thanks.

Just had dinner, service was great food quality good the chef definitely not experienced the steak sauces terribly taste like gravy powder I tried the wine sauce wasn't better plate wasn't warm so I had less than half the steak and everything got cold I didn't enjoy it to be honest not worth the money .

This is by far the best pizza I have had in Virginia!! I liked it Soo much! I ordered a regular cheese pizza and one of thete specialty pizzad the Giuseppe, being that my name IS Joe it was excellent! I did go in for pick up but the dineing room had a real nice decor was clean and well staffed. Please keep up the good work,will try the other offerings soon!!!

Like other travelers, we went to this restaurant because the one we were going to, which is very close, had an endless line and they were quite unfriendly. We had Fish and chips and it was pretty good. A small, familiar place and the manager is very friendly.

So the food here at Valentinos is really good but tonight is the 2nd or 3rd time in our past few visits where we have had to send drinks back as they're using flat tonic & coke as their mixers. They need to be using individual bottles so that you're able to see the spirit in the glass and then add as much "fresh" mixer as you like - but the drinks arrive already done with half melted ice and not very presentable at all. Come on Valentinos - up your game, it's letting the restaurant down.

Dropped in for lunch yesterday. Great value lunch menu - lovely starters of garlic mushrooms and bruschetta and mains of penne 'old style' and penne 'piselli' and a coffee for £20 each. Lovely glass of merlot each (well two for me). Attentive service in a long-established family restaurant.

Booked this pub fairly last minute for a large group on a Sunday before Christmas and not having been here before. It turned out great! The staff really looked after us, being attentive and clear but not rushing us. The food was excellent. I had the bbq ribs which were very meaty and tasty. The menu has a really wide selection. Looks like we found a little gem!

Absolutely amazing service from the team and manager, Max. If you are looking for an atmospheric place with top quality italian food and service then this is the place. Max will take care of you and provide you will top class service, the best italian cuisine and ice cold beers 🍻 👌🏻 10/10

The food is gorgeous. Couple of issues with getting the order correct (veggie/meat mix up and drinks) but all sorted quickly and apologies given and removed from the bill. I cannot recommend more.

Expensive £11 sandwiches but they are very tasty and atmosphere is nice and cosy if you can get a table. Quite small, not many seats in the cafe. Basement is not very nice.
