We went here for our son's 21st as he'd heard good things about Romana and likes Italian. Firstly, the place was a bit cold which made it quite unpleasant to eat in. It's cold enough outside without having to consider having to wear extra layers just to eat in a restaurant. My gambas with tomato was good but my main course of penne arrabiata was totally bland, the pasta was barely al dente and the chicken was in perfect squares with no taste whatsoever. The chicken pieces had to have been processed. They were just like a McDonalds nugget without the batter. 🤢 Mr J3 had gambas, which he liked and the same mains as me and had the same opinion. Our son enjoyed his meatballs and amatriciana though and he was the important one. I enjoyed my glass of wine. We definitely won't ever return.

First time here, the food was piping hot and there was plenty of it, you must have the ribs for starters wow!!

This was our first time at Jinnah but if definitely won’t be our last. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great and the service was second to none. We will be back!

Hicimos una reserva hace un par de meses para las 7 pm anoche. Confirmamos esa reserva hace unos días. Anoche aparecimos a tiempo, solo para descubrir que el lugar estaba cerrado. No había ninguna nota en la puerta. Llamamos a su número de teléfono. Sin respuesta, así que dejamos un mensaje. Enviamos por correo. Sin respuesta. Las horas publicadas dicen que abren a las 6 pm los jueves, así que sabíamos que algo andaba mal. Esperamos 15 minutos a que alguien apareciera o volviera a llamar, luego nos vimos obligados a buscar otro lugar para comer. En este momento, el restaurante aún no me ha respondido para explicarme lo que pasó.

A first visit, but no doubt I will be back for more. Absolutely delicious pasta, simply can taste the fresh ingredients and no scrimping here with the seafood. Having grappa available in 2 sizes on the afters menu hits the ball out of the park.

Had a fabulous meal this evening with work. The lamb was an absolute delight! Our waitresses Shemeen and Ellen were very attentive and a credit to the restaurant.

The best pasta I have had, and my son said it was the best Ribs he had ever had! A top secret in York, go before everyone else finds out about it!

Visitamos el restaurante para el cumpleaños de mi hija. Nos recibieron con una cálida bienvenida y mi hija estaba sentada con sus amigos. El personal era muy atento y amable. Realmente hicieron un esfuerzo para hacer la comida especial. La comida era fabulosa. Sin duda volveremos.

I had a Calzone the second on the menu. It looked lovely but very salty and spicy. I could eat only part of it. The restaurant staff were polite, friendly and professional.
