The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

He estado aquí un par de veces y la comida es absolutamente preciosa. El entrante de albóndigas es delicioso y sabe muy fresco. Los platos de pasta siempre se cocinan perfectamente. Mi favorita es la Tagliatelle Albi. El personal es muy agradable y eficiente y el propietario es muy amable. Cada vez que he estado ha estado ocupado, lo que siempre es una buena señal. Mi única crítica es que el vino vendido por copa es absolutamente horrible. He probado el Pinot Grigio y también el Merlot y ambos para mí son inbebibles. No he probado el vino por botella pero creo que si pudieras cambiar la calidad del vino vendido por copa, para mí tendrías una fórmula ganadora. Volveremos pronto

This is our go-to for “daughter-back-to-Bath-day”. Right next to Sainsbury’s car park where you have 90 minutes free. The service is amazing.. they get you in and out, without feeling rushed, in 45 minutes. The food is simply delicious.

I had seafood pasta. Very good amount, but the prawns looked as if they were weeks old Grey, dry and unappetising. It is very noisy in the restaurant. I just found it underwhelming! Wine is too expensive also. Won't be visiting again. There are many restaurants in the area where the food is much better.

Wow !!! Great meal again ... this was the second meal we had delivered from 22 square in the last month and it was great - had the garlic mushrooms to start “ the best ever “ according to my wife garlic chilli king prawns...

Great restaurant, service was exceptional from the Manager, we had a spill at our table and got a free dessert for making a mess. Starters where good but the Mains were excellent. Good portions and atmosphere light and cozy. Good job to the maitre'd or host gentlemen.

The atmosphere should be 10* here. The front of house gentleman is wonderful, cheerful, polite and makes the experience. The service is good especially when you take into account the small establishment and small team of staff. The food is very tasty, nothing over the top of extravagant. Good, tasty comfort food. Would definitely recommend for a lunchtime stop.

The food was ok not great but ok

I popped in mid-afternoon hoping for a coffee, cake and a glass of wine - managed to get two of the three. Although it's a café, it's definitely more wine focused. Service was quite slow and it wasn't even that busy. The cake / pastry choice was almost non-existent, so I opted for a selection of breads with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The focaccia was stupendous and highly recommended. I didn't eat anything else so can't comment on other food. The wine I chose was okay but nothing outstanding. Ultimately it is a 'wine café' so more about managing my own expectations.

One of the better restaurants in Elveden. Christine, who looked after us, was a gem, both helpful and amusing. She was very attentive to our son with learning difficulties and also to our toddler granddaughter The food was very nice too.

Recibimos una amable bienvenida en este restaurante luminoso y moderno y nos ofrecieron una opción de dos mesas - afortunado momento ya que el restaurante estaba lleno y nos alegramos de haber reservado. La comida era buena y todo el mundo tenía mucho cuidado con las alergias que tenemos dos de nosotros. Este restaurante ofrece más opciones para personas con alergias que muchos otros restaurantes. Sin duda volveríamos la próxima vez que estemos en Cambridge.

I came here with a friend and both of us ate the Penne Arrabbiata and it was AMAZING. Very tasty and the service was excellent. The whole atmosphere is so lovely. I will be coming back here frequently!! Thanks Il Sugo :)

Reservamos una mesa para 6 y tenía que tener el segundo servicio, así que no pudimos sentarnos hasta después de las 8. 30 pm. Primera vez en el nuevo lugar y decepcionado no había vista al río y bastante sosa decorada. El restaurante no estaba en absoluto lleno, pero todos nos mostraron a una mesa que solo era lo suficientemente grande para 3 o 4. Mesas más grandes permanecieron vacías, pero no nos movieron y por lo tanto estaba bastante aplastado. Todo el mundo, excepto 2 de nosotros, tenía filete que fue cocinado exactamente como se pidió y era un buen pedazo de carne de acuerdo con el marido. Tenía una pizza de margarita que tenía tantas ganas, pedí tomates y ajo adicionales, salió exactamente igual que la de mi amigo, el queso también estaba rallado, así que era extremadamente salado y se parecía a una pizza congelada. Totalmente decepcionante. Caro para no la mejor experiencia.
