The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

Really enjoyed food and service. I had the carbonara and it knocked mine into a cocked hat! Friend has Calzone which I tried and we both loved.

What a fabulous and welcoming family Italian restaurant. Everyone so friendly and helpful. We had the set 2 course menu. Good varied options, big portions, delicious! Didn’t feel service was rushed as can often happen when busy. You can tell they take a pride in what they do. Will definitely be back.

Great meals, chose from Vegan and Gluten-Free menus, oodles of choice and Maria our waitress was attentive, polite, friendly and prompt. I had the Mediterranean Appetizer and Mediterranean Penne (a theme here)! Glad booked as restaurant packed out from 8ish, there's an upstairs too. Bravissimo!

Lovely restarant, little cool inside, food excellent, service was good, but, we had 6 different people, 5mins apart asking, everything ok...... to much, Would go bk.....

¡Qué pequeño y encantador restaurante auténtico! Reservamos ya que estaba cerca de un lugar al que asistíamos. Todo el personal era amable y atento, nada era demasiado problema para ellos. La comida era muy buena, la boloñesa era una de las mejores que hemos probado! Los postres estaban deliciosos y los cafés terminaron una gran experiencia gastronómica Este restaurante va más allá. Es encantador ver un restaurante independiente prosperando en este clima actual

Really bad experience - waitress was so rude, judgemental and dismissive, immediately made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. My food was oddly oily which was off putting and led to it not even being eaten. The toilets weren’t stocked on either side of the restaurant. Usually a good place to go but likely won’t return after this time.

Tan bueno como las pizzas era que las bebidas eran aún mejor! La pina cola congelada estaba deliciosa. Estábamos allí en una fría noche de diciembre, me hubiera encantado experimentarlo en un cálido día de verano sentado fuera 😊

Super yummy! Great tasting food and excellent service. We shared 2 starters and then each had a main plus a drink, less than £100. Great quality food. Would recommend.

I am so disappointed and I don't write this review lightly. We were holding an event and ordered some pizzas a few hours before it went ahead. Whilst the pizzas were being made we were told that GF was not available. It was not made clear that whilst it was not available that our order was on hold. Our pizzas ended up being 1.5-2 hours late and to apologise, they gave us a voucher for a free dip. When the food arrived none of it was labelled - some were vegan, some were vegetarian and one was meat. We had to try and figure out which was vegan and when we asked were told 'the vegan one has cubed cheese'. It was almost impossible to tell to a point where one of our vegan guests ate a pizza with dairy. I am extremely disappointed.

Firstly, the decor and styling of the restaurant is absolutely gorgeous, so quaint and cosy. Following Christmas it was just a perfect setting. You really get a feel for the owners passion. Food - the bruschetta was fantastic, delicious tomatoes seasoned to perfection and great bread. The seafood ravioli with lobster bisque was very good maybe could have had a little more punch of flavour for me, my boyfriend had tortelloni with wild hare, cacao and hazelnut which he didn’t overly enjoy. I really appreciate the unique dishes and use of different ingredients but I think it would be really good to have a few of the more basic Italian pasta dishes because sometimes that’s the most satisfying and hearty. The raspberry sorbet we had in between courses was great, sour cherry and ricotta cannoli amazing, biscuit at the end with a coffee was also amazing. Service was very attentive. Prices on the slightly more expensive side but for the quality, this is fine. Really enjoyed our lunch here, wonderful experience overall. A great choice for a special occasion and group I think if there was some more basic Italian dishes available appealing to everyone too.

Had an absolutely amazing meal at Little Italy last night. Authentic home made Italian Food that is absolutely delicious. We were made very welcome, had a great evening and will return very soon. Highly recommended!

Unsuspecting on the outside, this cozy resturant is run by a lovely young Italian couple who are very friendly and seem to go out of their way to ensure you have a lovely meal. The food is wonderfully good and the atmosphere is perfect for an romantic date or a friendly catch up. Will definitely be coming here again, which in a culinary jungle such as Bethnal Green is saying something! :D

Fantastic evening! Food, service, quality, everything! We were a table 10 friends and had the best evening. Exceptional in every way ! This will always be our favourite restaurant no matter where we go in the world. Highly recommend the prawn and chorizo risotto !
