The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

Went to Bagatti's early Friday evening, Was made very welcome as usual, had the carpaccio beef starter which was very tasty follow by the best lasagne eve, washed down with a couple beers and finished off with a fantastic Tia Maria coffee. Nice see Peter Bagatti is still around and that Geogeio has kept this excellent restaurant serving great Italian food.

Booked here as we had theatre tickets across the road. Large well decorate restaurant. Service swift and professional. Food very good, worth a second visit

Not been here for a few years so glad we went for my sisters birthday. She had the steak served on a hot stone which you cook at your table, it was really good. All other meals were also very good. Also reasonably priced compared to other Italians in the area. Highly recommend!

Second visit this evening, delicious food and the staff are so lovely. They were really busy so food was a little slower, totally fine with us but they gave us free dessert to make up for it, so kind of them!

Me and my wife decided to go on a little Italian date and we were extremely happy. My expectations were beyond met. The younger blonde girl served me named 'Evie' was extremely pleasant and welcoming to us. We will happily come back for the great service and food!

Lovely little place with friendly staff, not to expensive and nice meal deal, will be visiting here again.

Fantastic experience for my first visit - real good, lively buzz without being too noisy (a bug bear of mine now restaurants insist on having blaring music!) Staff were really friendly and attentive and James on the bar made the most delicious Orange Blossom cocktails. The pasta was delicious - I had the spicy pork taglietelle which was amazing and prices are really reasonable considering the location. Will definitely be back again soon. Make sure you book a table though as seating is limited and it gets busy.

The food was fabulous, the service outstanding. And even the main man himself came to say hello. Parking was a little troublesome, so get there a bit early to secure a spot. Note that you need to enter your car registration in the restaurant. Otherwise, you'll get a fine.

We came early for dinner ,so had a good chat with the staff ,the waiter very friendly and helpful. As for the food it was to a very high standard and tasted great ,all freshly cooked , very authentic. The wine was also good and balanced the crab pasta. Definitely worth another visit.

I work in Ramsate a lot and this is by far the nicest food in the town. Nice friendly welcome. I had the lasagne- pork ribs - pizza - bolognese this week all freshly cooked and delicious.

Everyone loved the food and the staff were so catering to different dietary needs. Wonderful time, lovely atmosphere and they went above any beyond

Seabass in grilled seabass dish was really good however everything else on the plate was tasteless and did not add anything to the dish! Lamb chops were really tasty! Very annoying that they charge 20p for little extra olive oil/balsamic, cheap and unnecessary ill will gesture! And one more thing, the male members of staff were rather too casually dressed , rather off putting!
