The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

I love coming to juniper! My favourite place in Bramhall. The menu is incredible… so much to choose from. The food is delicious. Highly recommend the chicken fajita wrap, and the apple cake is to die for! Patrick, paddy and Suzanne always look after me and make us feel extremely welcome! Can not recommend Juniper enough!

I went here for a takeaway. Perhaps not the very best that I have had but certainly good enough for me to want to go back there. Had Lamb Dansak and additional dishes and can definitely recommend.

It's our new go-to place for a cooked breakfast, food is lovely every time we go in. I would have given a five-star, but I don't like the sausage

The Terrace has a relatively small menu with specials which change very regularly, but the food the produce is delicious. We love this restaurant, especially out of season, but even in season, when the staff are run off their feet they are so friendly, knowledgeable and all together very attentive.

We went for festive set meal dinner with 10 friends. We had a good time, the staff were friendly, efficient and the food was good. But thete was a problem with the speaker above our table which kept cutting out then came blaring back out again. I requested that it be turned off but told they were unable to turn off one speaker during the disco time that did spoil the evening a little. The restaurant had a singer but she was not necessary as their music was sufficient. We still had a fun evening.

We had a great Sunday lunch here. Friendly service and good food at a reasonable price. My wife contacted the restaurant in advance as she has some allergies and they made special dishes for her. This made us feel very welcome and cared for.

Después de haber cancelado la reserva en Il Portico. Tenemos una reserva de última hora en Grato. Fue realmente una de las mejores comidas italianas que hemos tenido, el cangrejo y la pasta de chile era excelente. Vale la pena visitarlo.

I have been to this restaurant many times. Historically the food has been fabulous and the sevice is great. And I promote healthy honest bussiness all the times .However….. u can only truly judge a great place when something is “ no quite right”. I never touched my meal this evening ; the mussels did not smell great!! I was not going to risk eating it.. I am not a chef but travel often and am an Experienced cook. Antonio freaked out when I asked if the shell fish had been previously frozen? He replied by refusing to cook a replacement.meal. I offered to pay but he just freaked out..Absoultly no customer service what so ever. .Quite childllike to me to be honest! Overall it’s a lovely quaint restauart which we all should support, it really is lovely. However if the boss doesn’t listen to their customers then he is sure to fail. I always try to post positive and honest reviews. Hopefully restaurant owners read this and improve their flaws. Everything is now consumer led. !!!!

I feel really disappointed that I’ve had to give a bad mark, as normally this place is very good. I went with the family on New Year’s Day and as always the staff were friendly and showed us to a table upstairs. We ordered x3 lots of the banana pancakes with Nutella and a round of drinks. After being asked to repeat myself several times I was suspicious I may not get what I ordered. When the wrong order came (without the bananas and the wrong drink Order) I politely challenged it I was told quite matter of factly ‘that’s what was on the chitty,, sorry about that but nothing I can do now’. She then disappeared super quick and with 2 very young children in tow wasn’t really in a position to do much about It. The service and quality is normally good in this place and mistakes obviously happen, but I get very frustrated with people not listening or rudeness and in this instance they failed on the basics and didn’t try and fix the mistake, simply laying any blame in my direction. I will go back and hopefully I can give them a good mark after (I hope) a much Improved experience.
