The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

This is the best restaurant in Wirksworth by far. We went as a family for a Saturday lunch. We had risotto, which was delicious and various pasta options. The tiramisu was outstanding and so were the cannoli. A fire had been lit, which made the experience even more appealing.

I've been here three times now and have enjoyed it every time. The cafe is clean, tidy, really nicely decorated and the staff are welcoming. It's somewhere you want to go into and return. I'll be going again as soon as I can!

Great little spot with lovely food and great service, would recommend as one of the best eats i've tried so far in north shields. Will be back with a bottle of wine next time since it's BYOB

The greeting is authentically Italian and so is the food. If you are heading in to Windsor or are about to jump on a train to London then stopping here is a great idea. Very big focaccias that taste amazing and will keep you going all day. They also do home made tiramisu in little pots to takeaway. Totally delicious. Its winter now, but the gelati they sold in summer was exceptional and cost much less than the new ice cream shops on Peascod Street.

I was luck enough to get 2 seat at the ‘pay what you want’ evening. I can honestly say it did not disappoint! 8 individuals sat round a table, enjoying wonderful food. A brilliant concept! Each dish was carefully thought out and tasted insane. Alex and Laurel were easily able to cater for my gf needs along with the normal secret menu! I will be ordering take out soon so I can share their amazing food with my Husand. Checkout their website and get your name in the hat for one of these brilliant evenings!! It's a great place to get ice-cream on a hot day. It's better than coffee evolution at around the same price . I really like the crumble and straciatella ice cream flavours.

vistied for a meal for 4. all food served was hot, well prepared and enjoyed, including provision of a pizza box for take home.

I discovered Pasta Out during lockdown, so unfortunately there was no availability to sit down and eat within, but the golden side to this was that I discovered their lovely take away service. The pasta is absolutely beautiful, so much so, that I will only have dry pasta in the house for emergencies only. There is a great choice of freshly made pasta and if they don't have any left, they will make it for you there and then. Easy to cook and beautifully fresh, soft and tasty. Highly recommended.

Muy contento de que este pequeño restaurante haya reabierto. Nos hicieron muy bienvenidos y tuvimos una comida encantadora. Tomamos un risotto de gambas y lasaña, ambos deliciosos y luego compartimos un tirimasu. Las porciones son generosas con algunas buenas adiciones gratuitas de palitos de pan, pesto casero y pequeños helados caseros lindos cuando pedimos la factura. Acogedor lugar con un pequeño menú que ofrece comida tradicional que es sabroso y bien presentado. Una selección de vino tinto, blanco o rosa (italiano y muy bebible) cerveza o refrescos para acompañar su comida. Los precios son muy razonables y la familia es acogedora. Realmente disfrutamos de nuestra visita y volveremos de nuevo.

Really good pizzas and service albeit lacking atmosphere for a Friday night. Not scoring down on this fact it could be a one off. Will try again.

The Italians that run this cafe are so lovely. The manager helped me with my baby and they were so quick to get me anything I wanted. Nice sofa in the window too!

Always a warm welcome from the amazing Ombretta & Ante. It feels less of a bar and more like an extension of home, with friends!

If you a connoisseur of fabulous pastry then this place is “the bomb”. Truly world class offering baked on the premises. Innovative croffin, (croissant muffin with Tarimasu) that melts in your mouth. Coffee also gets 5 stars. It’s located in an industrial area so a bit of a discovery location, but well worth seeking out.
