The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

Terminamos aquí nuestra primera noche en Londres y nos quedamos boquiabiertos. La comida era realmente buena y el servicio era increíble! Fue tan bueno que elegimos volver el día después también y todo era tan perfecto como la noche anterior. Los cinco comimos diferentes platos, y todos quedaron satisfechos. Te recomendamos que visites La Mia Cucina, no te decepcionará... Esperamos nuestro próximo viaje a Londres, entonces estaremos de vuelta!

I had a booking for a party of 15. I confirmed the booking with the restaurant two weeks ago. Turned up last night to find it closed. Nothing from the restaurant to say they couldn’t honour my booking. No sign in the window. Nothing. Such a shame as I ate there a couple of months ago and the food was great. I won’t be going back if they reopen

Nunca he estado muy contento con ninguna pizza en Londres. ¡Hasta que fuimos a Rust Bucket! Estaba preparado para comer otra pizza sub-estándar, pero al primer bocado de mi salsiccia y friareli me di cuenta de que esto era diferente, ¡este era el verdadero negocio! Tuve que hablar con esta brillante estrella de un pizzaiolo y le hice una señal con los pulgares grandes hacia arriba. Cuando se acercó, me contó todo sobre el cuidado y la experiencia que pone en sus obras maestras de pizza, los tipos de harina y salsa de tomate de alta calidad, las pruebas largas y el ingrediente principal: su pasión por lo que hace. Puedo decir más pero, cuando la comida se convierte en arte, las palabras no pueden hacerle justicia. ¡Un presto!

6€ per una pallina di gelato da un gusto mi sembra esagerato. Nonostante conosca il loro gelato di Rimini, visto il prezzo qui non mi sono addentrata nemmeno per assaggiarlo. Peccato

Dijimos que volveríamos y nos alegraría haberlo hecho. Llamamos por la noche y nos alegramos de que tuvieran una mesa para nosotros. Como de costumbre, la comida era genial, fresca y sabrosa - tuve una pizza y mi hija el rey gambas y plato de pasta. Mimmo era un anfitrión increíble con una gran personalidad; nos hizo sentir tan bienvenidos. No podemos recomendar SV lo suficientemente alto. No lo dudes - ¡reserva una mesa ahora! x

We visited on 27 Dec 2024 for a 50th Birthday meal with family. 15 people, a mix of adults & children. The pub was very quiet, and lacking a little in atmosphere, however the service was great and the food was outstanding. There was a varied menu, all reasonably priced and the food was very very good. We will definitely eat there again and would recommend.

We recently attended a wedding at Oaklands Hall. The staff are excellent here, they go out of their way to ensure you have a great experience. The 3 course meal was delicious and the staff were attentive and brought water when needed, they replenished the wine promptly and cleared everything away in good time. The buffet later on was also lovely, including some yummy chips which a lot of buffets don’t do but were very welcome. The toilets are modern and clean and no issues with lack of paper, nice little basket of toiletries too. The room is a good size and bright. If you were booking a wedding here in the summer you might be put off by the lack of outside space as it’s just the car park but it wasn’t an issue for the wedding we attended. I would say book your function here and you won’t be disappointed. The MC is very friendly and happy to help with any queries.

Piccolo ma buono. La pizza è di qualità e leggera ( lievitazione naturale) tutto a vista e te la preparo in un attimo. Servizio veloce ed efficiente. Da provare. Giusto compromesso tra qualità e prezzo.

Warm and welcoming atmosphere. Menu didn’t match the menu I had looked at via Google prior to arriving. I had a vegetarian pasta dish - was tasty. The person I was with had a steak dish, but unfortunately was not asked how he wanted his steak, and as a result was given it too rare. The person I was with was too polite to ask for it to be redone and at the time of ordering, was not asked how he would like the steak done. (We were deep in conversation to even realise his preference for the steak was missed out) So his dish was not eaten and instead was taken home but left in the taxi. (He really didn’t like it) Friendly staff and easy to find.

Friendly staff and excellent quality food for very reasonable prices. The vegetarian and mushroom pizzas were top drawer.

Very nice place , food was tasty. The staff were really friendly. Will definitely be coming here again.

Nice ambiance, service very good, foooood we had paninis and sandwich the fillings were very skimpy and I believe they had increased their prices. Not value for money. We have been in before and enjoyed our food. This must have been an off day. Will try it some time in future.

Still the best Italians in the area by far! Never disappointed and the best value for money you can find!

Ordered tonight for the first and last time, my pizza or so called was a disgrace bottom was inedible and covered in some sort of white slime ,there were 5 pieces of ham smaller than a postage stamp and possibly 1 mushroom inside to day it was disgusting is polite £22.00 for that my partner managed slightly more than me which doesn’t say much, I save to occasionally have a takeaway from my disability and it was vile

Tried on several occasions to get chicken livers to be told either they don’t have any it sold out as they are popular!aube if they are so popular your orders are not enough as you are missing sales as we order them as a starter then order a main meal. Bit rubbish really tbh
