Don't go here. The sushi is beyond excellent, the prices reasonable. I love this place, my absolute favourite. But I don't know you. Maybe I wouldn't like you so... just kidding. It's great 👍

Umu restaurant is nested in the alleyway in Mayfair serving high end japanese dishes. They prioritize the use of local British produce and prepare them using traditional techniques. During lunch hours you can choose from multiple lunch special combinations but also a la carte menu is available paired with daily fresh extras. A bit pricey, but that’s to be expected from this zip code

GONE! Take away Yoshino- Use to be very good and reasonable. Now the prices have gone up and the portions diminished. They have very little in the late afternoon and won't make anything to order as they used to. I've suggested they take orders by email but it's calling or fax I'm afraid. Sad as I've been ordering from there for 15 years. Not anymore I'm afraid. If they modernise and become more reasonable perhaps in the future but not as is now.

I cannot recommend the sushi here highly enough and wish I could've left a 5* star review. Unfortunately, the service and ambience prevented that. The staff seemed unengaged, bored, and miserable, which sadly took the wind out of the whole occasion. We all have bad days, but if you work in a public-facing job, you should greet all customers with a smile and certain energy or find another role. The service certainly didn't fit with the quality of food. Also, the atmosphere was a bit weird, I think because of the negative energy from staff, and lack of lighting. The toilets weren't filthy but definitely sub-par & needing attention, both in terms of cleaning and maintenance. I fully intend go back though, but perhaps under the influence of alcohol in order to be less sensitive to the other elements.

There's hardly ever a time where I wouldn't want to eat Yoobi's temakis. For Brazilian-inspired temakis they're actually not too decadent (sometimes I wish they were), but they're always super nice, fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. I wish they had a 'special temaki of the month' to introduce some extra variety, as I eat here often. Think about it Yoobi.... :)

Nice place; good to go for an evening out. Staff were absolutely lovely, could not fault them at all. Food was good, although some things with sauce (chicken wings & miso aubergine) were a bit too sweet, but that’s just personal taste. The cheesecake was amazing!

El personal es amable y el personal llamado Tamara era claramente increíble, cada vez que nos atiende siempre nos sonríe asegurándose de que estamos bien. Fue una experiencia realmente increíble y también es nuestra primera vez ese día.

TSUJIRI es una marca japonesa de matcha de Kioto fundada en 1860 y una conocida casa de té japonesa que se especializa en postres de matcha (té verde). Ofrecen una variedad de deliciosas delicias, incluyendo helado de matcha, café con leche matcha y otros tés japoneses. Ayer, comí delicioso postre Tsujiri Sundae, que se puede describir como una mezcla armoniosa de sabores dulces, amargos y terrosos con una variedad de texturas que hacen que cada bocado sea interesante y satisfactorio. Visité el restaurante del compañero de alas en SOHO y honestamente puedo decir que fue probablemente la peor experiencia gastronómica que he encontrado en la historia reciente. TODO era pobre desde el lugar, el tamaño del baño (tienes que dar un paso incómodo para acceder al urinario cuando se utiliza por múltiples ocupantes) y la comida era horrible, apenas comestible. Pedí las alitas Crazy de Jamaica inspiradas en el Caribe con un lado de queso macarrones trufado y ambos platos eran terribles. La proporción entre el queso macarrones y las migas de pan de ajo era tan excesiva que apenas había macarrones. Las alitas jamaiquinas no sabían auténticamente jamaiquinas y estaban absolutamente empapadas en lo que creo que se suponía que era salsa picante Scotch Bonnet, pero parecía ser salsa picante de búfalo, lo que era confuso. El título Jamaican Me’ Crazy para el plato también tiene una connotación incómoda / negativa hacia las personas de herencia caribeña. Puedo respetar que no haya habido intención de insultar, pero el título debe ser revisado por los accionistas pertinentes. El camarero / camarera eran jóvenes e inexpertos, pero estoy más que feliz de ofrecer la gracia basada en este hecho y para ser sincero eran la menor de mis preocupaciones en comparación con la mala calidad de la comida. 30 libras nunca se ha gastado en comida tan mala Mis mejores deseos.
