Had a craving for sushi somewhere in-between the high high end and Yo Sushi and chanced upon this place. Intending to do a lunch walk in for a la carte or one of their set menus, I was instead offered their Omakase menu only which is usually available via prior reservation only, more courses and of course, more expensive. The sitting was only half full so not sure why a la carte etc wasn't available. The edamame, dessert and miso were forgettable and barely deserving to make up three of the 11 courses (dessert was a scoop of ice cream) and the fish itself was good, prepared in front of you as you'd expect. It wasn't clear that the fish was "dry aged" so the flavours of classics were unique if familiar. The atmosphere was casual at lunch - this isn't pretentious although they still seem to be ironing out some kinks with the service - e.g some things were explained to one end of the counter and not the other. In addition to the lack of an a la option as suggested on their website (or set menus as featured in other reviews), the lunch Omakase is cheaper than on their website, which I only noticed after the fact as the so called encore sushi of your choice promised on the website was not offered so I double checked to ensure I had not misread. Overall a decent experience but some consistency in marketing/expectations management needed.

Really warm welcome and make me feel at ease. Fresh and Authentic Japanese food and very good signature desserts I have never tried in my life. Delicious food, very comforting and really enjoyed it. Well balanced and healthy as well. Good quantity and one plate is more than enough. Really impressed with the attention to details on presentation of food service. Staff very courteous and you feel good.

We tried one dish, because our order was not taken by the waiter, who then blamed us to cover up his mistake. I had to stand up and go to the waiters who were unattentive to the point of being evasive. The beef fillet was fantastic and the food we saw at other tables looked good. Unfortunately, the poor service was so bad that I refused to pay the service charge.

The food at the restaurant was delicious, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I started with the shrimp, followed by the lobster pasta, and both dishes were excellent. However, the drinks were fairly average. Unfortunately, the customer service fell short of expectations, especially considering this is a high-end establishment in Knightsbridge. Upon arrival, we weren't escorted to our table but merely directed to it from a distance. Additionally, the waitstaff did not pour our water, and at one point, the waiter placed three different dishes in front of one person, leaving us to figure out which dish belonged to whom. We had to request the bill twice, and after a 20-minute wait, we had to ask another staff member to bring it over. Given the lack of attentive service, we asked for the service charge to be removed. Overall, while the food was enjoyable, the experience was somewhat disappointing, particularly due to the subpar service.

Had the 5 course Sushi Omakase. It was very delicious ! The restaurant is small but cosy. There is a cloakroom. Reservation required. The staff are delightful and very polite. Non-alcoholic drink selection was a little disappointing but the food made up for it. The dessert was slightly underwhelming, and felt a little stodgy and blunt coming after such well crafted courses and refined food. The whole meal was very filling, overall it was an extremely pleasant experience.

The original Nobu is in dire need of a revamp. The food is as good as any other Nobu and the service is excellent as always. However, the bright lights and out-dated decor make it look like a canteen, which doesn’t fit the price point. I think I will stick to the one in Shoreditch.

We arrived early as we were going to the Palladium Theatre. We saw the restaurant. It would be good to go here. I had no expectations when turning up. The friendliness of the staff at the entry point explaining how to place the order really set the scene. We didn't have to wait long for the order and the service was brilliant. There was seats available and we sat and had our meal. It was really enjoyable and I would recommend this Japanese restaurant to my friends.
