The best restaurants serving Japanese food in England

Food ok and reasonably priced but when we dined there it was freezing cold. I can understand not heating the restaurant on less busy days (we visited midweek) but even a small portable heater would have been appreciated. The freezing temperature spoiled the whole experience.

Local and come here lots. Food is amazing, lots of vegetarian and vegan options, and gluten free options, and there’s always new specials. So many deserts and drink options, from alcohols to matcha, soft drinks, teas and hot chocolates. I am inclined to their unique selection of high quality teas, their jasmine tea one of the best I’ve tried. Service is always quick and very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is so peaceful and calm. And of course the place and outside area are beautifully decorated. Reasonably priced as well. The most underrated cafe in York by far.

Visité aquí con mi familia para los 18 años de mi hermana, solo nosotros 5 y todos los grandes fanáticos de la comida japonesa. Es un pequeño restaurante lindo en una calle de York, cerca de algunos restaurantes de cadena más grande que atraen a masas de gente, sin embargo, Sushi & Bowl tenía un puñado de invitados del restaurante. La bienvenida fue tan cálida, nos mostraron a nuestro asiento y nos dieron menús. Elegimos edamame, pollo gyoza, plato para compartir sushi maxi maki, ramen tonkatsu y plato de fideos de gamba. Todos servimos rápido y sabía increíble que estábamos todos sorprendidos. Wasabi, salsa de soja y jengibre encurtido en las mesas, así como palillos. Para ser honesto la comida era realmente promedio, pensé que se suponía que era bueno, sin duda por los precios increíbles, pero no me impresionó. la sopa de miso sabía viejo y no estaba lo suficientemente caliente. Mi esposa y yo no apreciamos cómo se estaba hablando con el servidor, creó una mala vibra, es solo un lugar pequeño y se puede escuchar todo lo que está pasando. No está bien, me sentí mal por ellos. También huele a aceite viejo en el lugar y es persistente y desagradable.

Amazing food, we’ve tried almost everything on the menu, popcorn shrimp, braised rib, beef bao and the tuna wontons were the highlights Service was excellent Really looking forward to going back

My favourite restaurant in Newbury! 5/5 on everything. The staff are so super friendly and attentive, food is great and it's such a relaxing atmosphere.

Food was delicious as always, great quality and prepared quickly. The tuna revolution is amazing and the sushi is affordable. Unfortunately, we were let down by the drinks. My cocktail took a long time to come and tasted watery. I’m unsure if it was always watery or whether it had been sat for a while and the ice had melted, but it tasted like water with a bit of flavouring. I didn’t send it back at the time, which for £9 I should’ve. When I reached out to give the restaurant feedback I didn’t receive a response.

Such a hidden gem. The food is always on point and the customer service from the gentleman at the counter is one of the best I’ve experienced in a long time. My favourite takeaway in the whole of South London. Couldn’t recommend more.

Very delicious food and great service. We chose the set menu and it was great value for the quality of the food. The service was really good and the manager was very helpful and friendly.

A más de 200 libras por persona con una garrafa (! ) de sake muy agradable, no es un lugar al que podamos ir muy a menudo, pero para un placer, no se puede superar.
