The best restaurants serving Japanese food in England

One of my favourite take aways, never disappoints. Ordered last night again food was delivered piping hot ! Super fresh and delicious. Thank you !

If you like fish then highly recommend but a bit to expensive

Our second time ordering a takeaway on a Saturday night and neither a pleasant experience. This time the delivery took almost 2 hours, despite initially being told delivery would be in under an hour. Food was ok when it finally arrived apart from the Katsu curry seemed a little bland. I don’t think we’ll be rushing to order again anytime soon.

Absolutely delicious food cooked right in front of you. Great atmosphere with a traditional Japanese theme. Great options for both meat eaters and vegetarians (they cook vegetarian / vegan items before putting meat on the grill). Also, the chefs that cook in front of you like to do tricks for your entertainment. I would highly recommend it!

Yummy japanese place, my partner really loved the takoyaki. I'm glad they had clearly marked vegetarian and vegan options. Cash only, atm is around the corner.

We went around 5.30pm midweek as a family of four, the chef seemed rushed and almost like he didn’t want to be there both me and my husband walked away feeling like he had been mocking us and worst our kids. Food wasn’t great especially given the price - £120 for 2 adult and 2 kids (under 8) mains, 2 apple juices, a glass of wine and a G&T. The food was so salty we were all guzzling water for hours afterwards. Didn’t stay for pudding so can’t comment on that

Ate here yesterday and I’m pretty sure me and my partner now have food poisoning. We have both been extremely unwell today, and noticed yesterday our chicken starter was slimy/gooey but ate it anyway.. we have eaten in here previously many times and always enjoyed, however this time after being unwell I don’t think we will be returning.

The waitress in black who seemed to be Japanese British (?) was extremely rude to us purely because I didn’t want to have food. I went in a group and was accompanying my friend for her birthday. Bear in mind EIGHT out of NINE people ordered food but she was being so rude us the whole time because I just chose to order a drink and no food

I only found out about this store after it was recommended by a friend for so long. Without saying anything, it was just a check-in The result is satisfaction We booked a 2-seater first, and the boss lady wrote my name on the little blackboard, which was very cute. The ramen soup base is rich. If you want something lighter, you can tell the boss first. But for my taste, I think it’s just right and the ingredients are sufficient. I ordered a sushi bento with fried shrimp (set meal) and got a free miso soup There are actually 12 pieces of sushi, which the girl can't finish by herself, and the price is only 16 pounds. The sisters ordered seafood ramen, tonkotsu ramen and saozi ramen🍜 When I came up and saw a large bowl, the average price was about 11 pounds. I was shocked when I paid the bill. The grilled eggplant has a sweet Japanese taste. Recommended! For those who like to drink, Xiao Wu ordered a mini millet wine. It was cold, not sweet but very tasty. It was the first time I drank this in the UK. I thought it was very good. It tasted better than hot sake🍶

The sushi is very fresh and tasted great! The flavour combinations were amazing and variety on offer is amazing! The staff were knowledgeable and attentive. The decor is classy and everything was clean and to a very high standard! Great value for money and definitely planning another visit soon!

Sushi bar in a somewhat cramped place. Dishes are more fusion than original. Somewhat pricy.

I am really sorry to they moved some where else.

The sushi here is at a different level. This is my favourite place for sushi. I highly recommend getting the barbecue edamame. We went there for New Year’s Eve, and they surprised us by giving us free champagne.

Great food and service. Chef and waitress were outstanding!
