The best restaurants serving Japanese food in England

La primera vez que probé este lugar, disfruté mucho de la comida. Fuimos bastante tarde, pero el personal nos hizo sentir bienvenidos, no nos apresuró. El personal era muy amable y servicial. En un momento me sentí mal, el gerente me dio algo dulce y al instante me hizo sentir mejor. Definitivamente regresaré.

The best sushi I have ever eaten, in a stunning venue. The wagyu and prawn nigiri are incredible. The dishes were accompanied by delicious cocktails. The staff were very friendly. Love the large digital screens!

Yes, a bit on pricey side, but you get what you pay for! Service very good (they even let me borrow cable and plug to charge my phone - no grumbles). Food was excellent. Had a couple sides as appetizers and sushi - all very fresh and great individual flavors. Waffle dessert was yummy.

It is unfortunate I have to write this review after being one of Tomari G’s biggest fans previously. We arrived Friday evening to extremely bad service and without half the menu available. The waitress basically ignored us for 20 minutes. When she arrived they had no Rose wine. When we went to order they had no sushi ! One of the main reasons we visit!! We then asked for Salmon Poke Bowl, this was not available, We asked what was available the answer was just Ramen. I have also had a few friends visit who expressed there concern on the lack of menu available recently. I understand that this has happened since they have been taken over. We visited when it was the previous owners and it was amazing. My advice, try somewhere different. Nagomi in Cheltenham is amazing so we will be visiting that restaurant instead In future.

Nunca tuve yo sushi antes y estaba un poco nerviosa, pero la comida era estupenda, tan fresco y mucho más. El pescado estaba delicioso, tan fresco y justo se funde en la boca. Me encanta cómo toda la comida pasa por la cinta transportadora y puedes servirte. Un paso obligado.

Un japonais tout en finesse. Excellent "salmon set", dans une barque en bois (21 €). Excellent "salmon/thuna set" (idem) (22 €); Les produits sont hyper frais. Catégorie supérieure. Prix en rapport (105,50 £ à trois). Vaut le détour.

La primera vez que visito con mi pareja. El personal era atento. Ahora la comida. Decidimos escoger muchos platos más pequeños. El tempura de langostinos y pollo karage eran nuestros favoritos, eran frescos, calientes y deliciosos. También tuvimos el calamar bebé que fue decepcionante, ¿dónde estaba el calamar? Sólo sabía a masa. También tenemos sushi y probablemente no lo volvería a comprar. No estaba fresco en absoluto y no sabía bien. Volvería de nuevo para probar un plato principal, pero me mantendré alejado del sushi.

Sadly, we went for the sushi buffet on the last day of their offer and it felt like they just gave us all the leftover ingredients. The fish was old and grey with very little taste. And the sushi rolls were falling apart or covered in weird sauce to give it some kind of flavour. Very disappointed at the quality we received, given the pictures take from others.

Cozy sushi spot located on the high street, easily accessible, centrally located. Loved the warm lighting, small wooden tables and Japanese decor accompanied by the delicious smells. There is a small bar offering classic cocktails, wine, sake and Japanese beer. The food is definitely the star, serving fresh sashimi, nigiri, tempura and a variety of maki. The house specialties are the Chef’s roll and Lava roll, prepared with fresh fish, avocado, then fried and drizzled with delicious tangy sauce. Favorites are the lunch specials and bento boxes and Sunday all you can eat special! Make reservations because the word is out and although walk-ins are welcome, you may have to wait a while!

Very down to earth restaurant run by a Japanese couple. The sushi and sashimi dishes are great, especially the chirashi. Generous portions and fresh. Highly recommended. With plenty of Japanese restaurants in London, many of which are overhyped or not authentic, Rokkon stands out as a special place.

Das Sushi ist ein Erlebnis für sich! Dazu der tolle und nette Service - gerne wieder (auch, wenn man hier eher hingehen sollte, wenn man etwas mehr Geld ausgeben kann - aber jedenfalls das Geld wert)

Selección perfecta de ramen. Elige entre suave y picante. Personal servicial. Comida muy sabrosa y tés de calidad! ¡Quieres decepcionarte eligiéndolos! Este lugar está en mi lista de imprescindibles!
