The best restaurants serving Japanese food in England

Delicious food, lovely atmosphere and great staff! Went with friends and we enjoyed the seating outside for a drink in the sun and then moved inside for a good bottle of house white. The food is presented beautifully and tastes a good !Best dishes - black cod and prawn gyoza

Pagamos £ 15 por un rollo de sushi, tuvimos una fantástica hamburguesa con papas fritas y un lado en el Caballo Blanco por el mismo precio. Además de eso, tardamos casi 30 minutos en conseguir el primero de tres rollos de sushi, luego tuvimos que esperar de nuevo a que llegaran los otros dos. Tardó tanto en hacerse, que el arroz estaba caliente, así que todo se vino abajo. He comido sushi en todo el mundo, esto no funcionó, hubiéramos pedido más, para llenarnos, pero no estábamos preparados para esperar más o pagar esa cantidad. ¿El restaurante no tiene licencia y tienes que pagar por el agua del grifo?

The “Bath Landlady” has done a fantastic job at the pub. Was a pub with a reputation of Fosters lager, and some interesting people. Now it’s cool, with an excellent selection of drinks, it’s been stripped back and now feels like a proper pub, with plenty of live music and a hip clientele. Fantastic chef & server! The food was fantastic, both the katsu curry & sweet chilli chicken. Although we couldnt have the noodles at the time it was all fantastic and reasonable priced! Cheers both

Loved it! Ordered in lock down v2 and didn’t have to wait long to get our order ready. Every dish was incredibly good, the rolls, the chicken teriyaki, tempura and tori kara age. We will definitely come back and try more food, it’s been one of the best meals we have had in lock down.

Had my uncles 80th Birthday party here on Saturday night and even though the weather was rubbish the venue, food, service and overall was amazing. If I lived in Liverpool and needed somewhere for a party this would be the place. The bar prices was very reasonable and the staff were friendly and fun. Would recommend this place to anyone who is wanting a city centre party location.

Bastante bien, pero más occidentalizado de lo que esperaba. El arroz estaba sabroso y el pollo y el cerdo Katsu ambos bien cocinados. Pero vino con una ensalada simple y mostaza inglesa, en lugar de encurtidos y wasabi. El albóndigas de pollo era bueno. Linda pequeña sushi, restaurante, vinimos porque obtuvimos un descuento, pero los precios son razonables para la calidad, incluso sin ella. Personal que sabe lo que están haciendo, servicio rápido, volveré de nuevo! Nos sentamos arriba y también nos gustó el arte en las paredes.

Came here to start off our little Birthday day out to treat my girlfriend who loves all things Japan. And we both HIGHLY recommend coming here! Let me just quickly summarise this place for the readers out there: - Knowledgeable, friendly and highly attentive staff - Amazing selection of sakes, cocktails, whiskeys, etc. - Food that's fresh and really tasty (highly recommend the Chicken Fry!) A bit of a hidden gem in Covent Garden that we'll definitely be back to for the sake flights and sake school! If you've been thinking about trying Japanese cuisine, or already love it, just get down here and enjoy yourself!
