The best restaurants serving Mediterranean food in West End City of London, Westminster London

We have cooked many dishes out do the Ottolenghi books, and this place being a bit more technical than the books delivered, I also appreciated the Short menu as it helps with selection and ensures a well delivered dish. Burrata: excellent. Octopus; Devine, Cod: delicious. Fried mushrooms: a highlight believe it or not. We sampled 4 desserts along with 4 mocktails and they were absolutely fantastic.

Estamos perplejos de que un restaurante de estrella Michelin tendría una comida horrible, muy mal servicio combinado con un precio muy muy alto por la mala calidad de la comida y la experiencia. La paella que comimos fue cocinada por alguien que acaba de aprender a cocinar o por alguien que no sabe cómo se cocina una paella. Era un desastre caliente. Nuestra recomendación, ahorrar su dinero, su paciencia y su pallet a toda costa y simplemente mantenerse alejado de este lugar.

Visitamos el restaurante Ruya para cenar después de la fiesta de bodas de mi hija, y el restaurante fue realmente decepcionante. La comida era buena, pero todo lo demás fue un desastre total - Éramos un grupo grande, nos recibió el pesebre del ventilador, que se presentó y prometió cuidarnos, se fueron como su turno terminó sin entrega a nadie más Nos dieron una mesa demasiado pequeña para nuestro grupo, a pesar de que el restaurante estaba medio vacío. -Tuvimos que pedir todo 2 - 3 veces, como agua, pan, bebidas... etc, y muchos artículos nunca se entregaron -No teníamos ni idea de quién es gerente, supervisor, camarero o limpiador, solo mucha gente corriendo por ahí desorganizada. Personal inexperto, que evidente de cómo manchan la suciedad en lugar de limpiarla, o pidiéndome que encuentre espacio en la mesa cuando sirven los platos en lugar de dos personas trabajando juntas para servirnos. - Optamos por el menú establecido, y los espacios entre cursos era demasiado largo, como 20 - 25 m a pesar de nuestra solicitud repetida de agilizar -Las porciones del menú eran demasiado pequeñas, tuvimos que pedir un montón de comida Ala carta. -Hemos preguntado por el gerente 3 - 4 veces, y solo lo vi cuando recibí la cuenta al final, donde descargué brevemente mi frustración pero tuve que irme para escoltar a mis invitados fuera. No entiendo todo el bombo alrededor del restaurante, claramente es solo una campaña en las redes sociales ya que muchas de las reseñas se quejan del mismo tema. El servicio en este lugar fue realmente horrible, nuestra camarera tuvo una actitud terrible para toda la noche, hizo comentarios y caras para cualquier cosa que pedimos (Éramos una fiesta de 8 celebrando un cumpleaños) También trataron de cobrarnos dos veces por un prosecco ya sobreprecio que pedimos, afortunadamente nos dimos cuenta, pero no debería estar cometiendo estos errores. Terrible servicio con comida muy cara, no se lo recomendaría a nadie

Although it may not have the most luxurious decor the food was delicious at reasonable price and I was glad I came here to get a taste of their Lebanese specials!

Un restaurante algo pequeño en el interior y el personal era muy amable. Nuestra primera vez aquí y era realmente delicioso y diferente comida griega. Nos encantó y sin duda volvería a visitar si alguna vez viajamos a Londres de nuevo. Un poco en el lado caro teniendo en cuenta el tamaño de las porciones.

A friend and I stopped off here after a trip to the theatre with three kids in tow. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating (especially Maria); they even gave the kids colouring books and crayons! The place was comfortable with enough space so it didn't feel crowded. The food (we had fresh muffins and wafers) was yummy and reasonably priced. The chai latte I had was perfect. Most importantly for a parent, the loos were clean and had handsoap; a rarity in Central London! I would highly recommend making this your pitstop when you need to sit back and have a break.

Rather chaotic at the reception on arrival, a very small area. There was only one brand of tonic, (Schweppes) at the bar. We were shown to our table which was all set nicely, however, we were sat next to a service station which meant that staff were passing by within inches of our table to retrieve equipment for other guests every couple of minutes which was detracting from our dining experience. We did mention this to our waitress and fortunately they moved us to another table . There was no ambiance or atmosphere, it was very quiet, we couldn't hear any music. Most people were just taking photos for social media, Instagrammers etc. There was a group of girls in the toilet for at least half an hour just taking photos. We found the food mediocre, portions were very small, it was overpriced. Nothing special. You are paying for the decor, which is lovely, the restaurant is quite small. There are no balconies above, they're just for decoration. I thought the staff came across as aloof. The menu is limited. When we left, a small group of people arrived to see if they could get a reservation, I witnessed the manner in which the maitre'd spoke to these potential customers. It was mocking and sarcastic, he then made a joke about them to another member of staff in reception, within earshot of guests signing in "what do they expect on a Saturday afternoon" she also laughed. I felt this was rather crass in front of other customers. Very unprofessional of the Maitre'd. I actually mentioned this to him. He backtracked and sidetracked the issue. Nonetheless, he did mock customers who did not have a reservation. He was not polite. I would avoid this restaurant. There are hundreds of other restaurants that will give you a far nicer dining experience, with better menus and a great atmosphere in London

20 years between visits to this place! Good to see the famous toilet eggs have survived. Excellent service, food was great. Stupidly overpriced (but you're paying for an experience also of course) :-)
