The best restaurants serving Mexican food in England

Absolutely lovei t, whenever I'm near the area I will always detour into Chippenham for a Boston burger! As a coeliac it is hard to find a decent burger and chips unless I make it at home. 10/10 would recommend for a gluten free feast! I always get the Boston classic and the burger is so yummy, not full of rubbish and padded out with wheat like most fast food places! Decent gluten free roll And the chips are so tasty, proper skin on home made fries, no over processed rubbish Absolutely love

Update to original review: we are so sad that this amazing venue appears to have closed? It was a place that deserved to thrive and enjoy great success. We were really looking forward to returning when next in the area 😔 …………………. Complete hidden gem, only a short drive from Harbury Fields caravan park. We enjoyed the relaxing ambiance, the well-chosen music and the Cold River cider .. so much that we came back twice while still in the area. Thank you Hillbilly’s .. we have thoroughly enjoyed our delicious food, we will return and we will be recommending to others.

Wonderful food and great service!

I was booking for a group of 15 people and from the start the team were extremely helpful and friendly. They were accommodating for our needs, flexible with our orders and changes to attendees. The food was delicious and as expected. Decent portions, some struggled to finish which is a good sign. I had the katsu chicken curry nachos which were scrumptious. Great variety of dishes and an awesome offer - nachos, dessert and drink deal! Great staff who were patient and kind. Lovely decor and atmosphere. Family friendly too. 10/10 would recommend.

Wonderful lunch here. A great little gem in a lovely location. Very friendly service and food was unreal. We ordered one of everything (it’s quite a small menu) and thoroughly enjoyed everything. Nachos and salsa was super fresh and the quesadilla and fish taco were unreal. The margaritas were also amazing! The place is pretty small and I imagine cold get busy but can’t recommend enough!

If you like vegetarian food then this place is for you. I have ordered chili con carne chimichanga there was no meat. All it was is rice, beans and tomatoes. Would not recomend it. Not worth the price

Brilliant staff sure they're not Mexican though. Foods always spot on and decent portions. The Gulf of America my ass!

Waited a long time to go here and expectations were high. The food is delicious and authentic but the portions are very small, which is unusual for Mexican food.

1 star food hygiene rating avoid made us all sick not fun

Fantastic restaurant with great atmosphere and wonderful Mexican food! As a local I love coming here and haven’t met a dish yet that wasn’t great!

Yet again a wonderful night at Amigos Mexican Restaurant, with three lovely friends. It was busy, but the staff were always smiling and checking that we had every thing we required. The food was gorgeous, as usual and we washed it down with a couple of bottles of reasonably priced wine and one friend chose to order a selection of Amigos cocktails. Fabulous night.

There is a good selection of craft beers and non-alcoholic beers! The place is huge and very popular, so it’s loud. I didn’t order any food, but their crisp selection is good!
