well prepared in time and after that, that delicious chicken tikka panini has become one of my favourite on the menu. Being honest I’ve been a regular customer of this Cafè now. Lovely staff as well as the atmosphere. Would defo recommend. 😚

A first visit to Penny and Lou - a warm and friendly welcome, efficient service and an excellent breakfast/brunch. Not a huge menu, but perfectly served and good value for money. Will visit again.

Outstanding non dairy ice cream. Great flavors and not just fruit. I had a maple walnut soy ice cream with real nuts. Great mouth feel, similar to ice cream. Next time I am in bar harbor it will be on my visit list. Super friendly staff too. Remember to tip, they deserve it.

What a great night's entertainment we had last night at The Wheatsheaf! Even with a member of staff down this fabulous landlady served the drinks, arranged catering (Katsu curry - freshly made to order and soooo delicious and great value!) and hosted a really entertaining quiz in aid of local new charity Red Kite Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Service which is based in Bishop's Stortford. The outdoors area was packed to bursting; the atmosphere was great and the pace of the quiz questions just right, with a heads and shoulders game at half time. The money raised - £157.90 - will go to supporting victims of rape and sexual abuse across eastern Hertfordshire. Thank you to The Wheatsheaf for a lovely evening! We'll be back!

Second visit to this very nice restaurant. Service good and friendly. Food good and nice selection of desserts. Very popular as very busy. Would definitely return.

Decent food and great pints! Great for the football too, more big screens than people!

Seated upstairs and rather forgotten about for late 3pm Sunday lunch for 7 people. Good starters but then no cutlery replaced for main courses had to ask for some so we could eat our food and then it was slapped on the table by staff looking rather disgruntled. Ditto puddings asked again for spoons and after nothing we found some ourselves. Food good but would not rush back.

Since being taken over, it's shocking. No longer any food. Bar staff are rude. Like they are being put out for pouring your drink. This pub is now for cheap booze, Friday, Saturday nights. No longer a family pub. Shame

Shocking food was sweated up dessert wasn’t wat I wanted

An outstanding Pub restaurant and best for miles around. An example today for Sunday lunch had Devilled Kidneys on Sourdough followed by Roast Venison with amazing Roast Potatoes and the daily vegetable included Roasted Jerusalem Artichokes. Here is a place that cares about its food and service and NOT a typical average chain. Congratulations, you should be proud of yourselves.

Great coffee ever awesome great experience

Food was exceptional and the service was amazing, the restaurant has a really friendly vibe and the decor is very well done.

Dog and baby friendly. Bar is cash only and didn't have coffee going but excellent beer and lovely staff and clientele.
