My favourite cafe in Bury. Tanya and Charlie have created a great, dog friendly environment with a good selection of yummy food and drinks. Sit outside on a warm day and watch the world go by the Abbey Gate. Can get busy so you may have to wait a while for a seat at busy times

Excellent pre-Christmas meal with family. The Cadogan consistently provides meals of a high standard. Excellent range of wines. Craft ales. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Plenty of parking space. Outside eating available. Play area for children and large lawn for them to have fun.

Mean Spirited - The first experience of taking along a birthday cake for a close friends 60th birthday to be told we can light it but you can’t eat it here!!! Should point out that the food we did eat was great, but this won’t be our venue of choice for future celebrations.. shame.

We visited for our work's Christmas meal, and had a lovely evening. Food was excellent, and enjoyed by all, as was the service, and the table in the restaurant looked really lovely, cosy and inviting.

What a great find! Fabulous food and service 5*. Barmaid Liz was great, very friendly and very welcoming. The food was 5* and will definitely visit again. Looking forward to when their airbnb opens so we can stay, eat and drink! We'll be back again.

Brilliant tour today of the Greene King Brewery. Despite not minding a beer or two, I’d never been on a brewery tour before and my knowledge of the beer making process was virtually non existent, but not anymore! Paul, our guide, was very engaging and a walking encyclopaedia of beer, brewing and local knowledge. Rounded off with a very generous tasting paddle, I was able to sample beers I probably wouldn’t normally try. Great experience and highly recommended.

I would like to support this local pub but they do not update or advertise any events etc. on their website. I live locally but have no idea re. current events, food menu etc etc.

Got food fine but the server was extremely rude. Wouldn’t recommend at all unless you like being spoken To like crap. This is the worst service ever.

My daughter and I went for lunch. The meal was nice. A bit expensive but thats how much things are these days. The place has a butchers which although expensive the meat looked good
