A lovely quirky cafe in Wallingford, that we found by chance after visiting Benson. Lots of British/ Royal themes and decorations. A cosy independent cafe, very friendly with a good atmosphere. We ate breakfast, from the menu I had a Henry VIII, my wife Princess of Wales. The breakfast [were large], excellent and certainly value for money. The service was spot on, the staff interacted and very pleasant. Definitely worth a visit

We were staying as an extended family near here and went in one evening. This is just the sort of excellent authentic, unpretentious village pub you don't seem to see so much these days. Landlord was super friendly, recommending beers and chatting about he keeps them. Chatted to friendly locals too. Good atmosphere. We all had food which was exactly as expected: good sized portions, straightforward, tasty. Lots of variety on the menu. Pub is dog friendly too. Please visit if you are in the area. A great British village pub. Thanks

★★★★★ I visited The Nook during a group cycle ride, and we were warmly welcomed. This place is a gem, offering a great choice of hot and cold food and drinks in lovely surroundings, complete with attractive artwork on the walls. I had the Cornish pasty, which was piping hot, delicious, and generously filled. The fresh and crunchy salad that accompanied it was how I liked it. As someone who enjoys supporting independent businesses, I highly recommend this fabulous coffee shop. It’s a must-visit if you’re heading to the barn next door or looking for a cosy spot with delicious food.

You order through a door to the left before coming out and going through the door in the centre of the building for the main seating area. There were some brave souls enjoying some mid - December sun at the outside tables but there was a good amount of seating indoors. The food arrived quickly, hot, fresh and very tasty. I'd highly recommend and I'm trying to find an excuse to go back already!

Overall it was Okay. Very pricey food but it was okay. The acoustics were a little unpleasant as it’s extremely noisy when you have a large group at the bar shouting at each other to be heard. The noise felt like a night club at the bar. The only observation I would make was considering the size of the bill, the staff lacked empathy and the customer service was not so good for such a nice place. I travel a lot and visit plenty of restaurants and good old fashioned customer service makes a huge difference. You cannot just rely on good food and very nice surroundings. Undoubtedly, the Weeping Willow is a very impressive place. Shame really because I can see they have invested a sizeable sum in making it look fantastic of which it does. I would recommend this place as this was only my experience. Hopefully the management can read this and make a few changes in the customer service. 😊

Coffee is very good but the place is filthy. Dirty tables, furniture should be in a skip, floor sticky. Don’t even mention the toilets.

We held my friends wake at the Three Kings, they provided us with a private room and a wide selection of sandwiches, pastries and cakes, along with unlimited teas and coffees. This allowed us to have a lovely afternoon, socialising and remembering our friend. I would highly recommend this pub for any occasion.
