Caffe Piazza doesn't exist anymore, it is now called THE PIG IN MUCK, and it's a great place for a visit

Great breakfast and shopping at same time

The ramparts of the magnificent Bamburgh Castle overlook the pretty village of Bamburgh with it’s excellent pub The Lord Crewe. We stayed overnight in a comfortable room with en suite, enjoyed a lovely dinner with great menu , an emphasis appropriately on fish ,plus a great breakfast. The pub area busy with walkers , people with dogs , a convivial atmosphere and obliging staff. A wonderful area to stay with the Castle, a lovely perfect sandy beach, a very interesting coastline stretching north to the superb cliffs above St Abbs. Great for any age group and something for everyone, and not destroyed by the grubby arcades , cafes and commerciality of some British seaside places.

Just home after our first visit to holy island. We stayed at the Ship Inn for the weekend it was perfect start to finish. Paul and his staff were so welcoming nothing was too much trouble we were in a party of 16 the drinks flowed and the food was fabulous. The bar has such a fun atmosphere cosy warm with a lovely fire. Breakfast was delicious we just can’t wait to return. See you all soon.

Only 2 women working there, to be fair they were extremely busy, advertising for staff - which they seem to be every time we are there ! Coffee was ok, however flavoured syrup wasn't added to Pumpkin Spice Latte.! Wasnt very hot either. Couldn't take back as was already back on main road. Another customer had same issue but he checked his before he left the place.

Service, lunch and coffee were ok - dirty and littered tables everywhere and the only clear table where we sat was dirty. We got a parking ticket for staying too long - neither myself or my friend will be back! Very disappointed!

Pretty poor cafe, unfortunately. Staff were friendly but that’s it. Shame since you have that lovely garden and it would be an ideal spot to finish a trip for a coffee and lunch after the poison gardens but the value and quality was not there. Also, very poor pricing for plainly made plastic bagged breadcake sarnies. There’s cost of living and then there’s just daft pricing.

Unclean, only one loo for a place this size is ridiculous. Avoid this Starbucks in Winter as you will definitely pick up nasty bugs.
