We had a very good meal at The George at Molash; we were welcomed on arrival and shown to our table, the service was very efficient and the waitresses were professional but also friendly. They looked after us superbly. We chose our meals and these took a little time to come out but we were not worried about this as we were chatting and food was cooked freshly to order. Other tables were informed about a wait for some foods as they were cooked freshly to order. This didnāt affect us too much as we ate quite early - table was booked for 6.30pm. The pub was very clean and tidy. The portions were good - for both dinner and we had a dessert. We finished the evening with herbal teas and were shown a selection to choose from. Overall we had a very nice evening at The George, and had good food, service and atmosphere.

I took my wife here today for her 50th Birthday for an afternoon tea. It was superb! The tea room is beautiful and very classy. Really makes a nice change to go somewhere that felt very grown up. The staff were absolutely amazing, the food was all first class, and the surroundings were perfect. We chatted to a very friendly table who were clearly regulars and certainly gave us a laugh or two. I wouldnāt hesitate in coming back or recommending it to all my friends and family. If you get the chance to come to this great place you definitely should.

Brilliant night at the chequers. 4 course meal with Aperol Spritz aperitif and Limoncello for Ā£45.00 a head. The food was superb with choices to suit all tastes. Atmosphere was excellent. Please do it again we want to try some of the other choices on the menu!

A great place to drop into for a drink and/or a snack. Friendly staff served us. There's seating outside (when the weather's good) but the seating inside is more homely. The aroma from the deli is delicious. Oh, before I forget, the freshly-made coffee and green tea were very good.

We used the little teapot to cater for my mumās celebration of life this week. They provided a fantastic service and nothing was too much trouble. The food was of great quality and quantity! And so fresh. Everyone who ate said how lovely the food was. Would highly recommend and will definitely use again. Thank you

This is a proper old skool pub. The food is utterly amazing...lots of it cooked with attention to detail. Sunday roasts were just divine. Veggies are made a star not an afterthought. Cheese board was epic too. Im not local but will be back next time im with my friends

Previously visited the Tearooms when they were located outside the front of Perry Court. The food was excellent and cheese, chutney sandwiches were huge and fresh. Has to be said for the new cafe the staff are great - however the new sandwiches are appalling. Cheap supermarket, sliced bread and a smattering of grated cheese for Ā£Ā£. Phenomenally expensive. A huge disappointment and wouldn't return.

Booked as there was 6 of us and wanted afternoon tea first one of group as it was a birthday treat . All food was brought out together with a candle on the scone and everyone in tea room sang to my brother including Simon Calder ( travel journalist) nice guy. Food was good , grandson wants to come back for coronation chicken . Really friendly people. Donāt forget to check out local walks . If the square is full for parking then there is parking down the road. Highly recommended ššššš©

I had a classic breakfast and it was delicious, proper ingredients and perfectly cooked. My friend had the halloumi gyros and she said it was delicious. We are going back when we can to switch because they looked so good we want to try both. The service was very quick and the staff were lovely!

Went there expecting to get food and decent beer. NO Food. Looks like pub is up for sale with little interest. Beer was OK, but pub noisy due to football. Definitely one to avoid. Went to Eureka for a nice curry instead,
