The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Ashford South East

We got the Latte Lounge to do the catering for my Nans funeral. We chose the "End of life" cold buffet. It was absolutely spot on, delicious sandwiches, gorgeous savoury pastries, scotch eggs and more.... All freshly homemade. There was plenty to feed everyone! The amount of people that commented on how fabulous the food tasted (which was many) was the result of the professionalism of Sharen and her team. Thank you for taking care of us xx

Lovely spot on a nice day. Dog friendly and great coffee. Parking can be a bit difficult if busy. Very friendly.

Great family pub with lovely children's play area. Great ale and friendly and lovely staff. The only downside is they don't currently offer food. So it's something they could offer in the future. X

Just had my daughter’s 14th birthday at the karaoke room! It was FANTASTIC!! the staff were brilliant the food was brilliant the karaoke was brilliant! And it was at a great price! She also left a card with money in there and they called before we even got home to tell us she had left it and they will keep it safe until I can get down there to get it! My husband also left his jacket there a few months back but they had it and had it returned to us! Honestly cannot recommend enough! Thank you!

After reading such great reviews we decided to try out the Walnut Tree after a change of hands just over a year ago. We had very high hopes and the menu read deliciously! Unfortunately and maybe it was just an off day to give benefit of the doubt but the starters were poor. The brie was like.a hollow husk with no cheese we think it may have all melted away. Roast was OK but beef overcooked and veg had been nuked. Deserts simply mediocre at best. Setting is nice and pleasant and staff friendly. Like I say could have been an off day for the chef but we would hesitate to return with food of this quality.

Never been here before pulled in on the off chance on a Saturday afternoon fantastic welcome by the landlady. My wife had a Ploughman. I had a ham, egg and chips. My wife said it was the best PLANS she’d ever had and my ham and chips was spot on give it a try you won’t be disappointed and great value for money.

Said the kitchen was shut when it wasn’t it shuts at 8pm and we got here at 7pm and the head chef was playing pool not working we also had a meal voucher to use as it expires soon aswell also one of the bar staff laughed when my fiance put in her glasses to look at menu and said kitchen is closed

They gave me raw milk for a cup of tea and I have milk alternatives. Regular thing of getting the type of milk I have wrong. The service has been going downhill for years and so has the clientele. The food is still adequate.

Had a meal here on Thursday evening. Staff were attentive and friendly and the food was probably the best pub food I’ve ever had. Freshly cooked and arrived in good time. Would 100% recommend. Decor looks like the pub is being renovated and looks like it’ll be great for summer
