Disappointed. The service was abysmal. After a lovely afternoon was so looking forward to visiting here and finishing a perfect day . Wouldn’t bother going back .wanted to eat in but ended up with takeaway as staff not interested in listening to requests. The ice cream was nice enough but expensive.

Such a unique place! An art gallery and restaurant, where you can have a full vegan breakfast at 4pm 😆💚 absolutely loved it! So many tasty vegan options, really recommend if you're looking for good vegan food in Whitstable. And the exhibition was amazing too. Staff was really lovely.

A real treat. Hearty and flavourful meals. Delicious ham with creamed leeks, fish pie and Creole mussels. Brilliant vegetarian options which everybody enjoyed. Traditional desserts with excellent textures. Very long and interesting wine list. Friendly staff and jolly atmosphere. The only thing that spoiled it was that a children’s dish from the children’s menu was spicy, it didn’t state this, and she didn’t eat much.

By far the best pub in Whitstable!! It has everything you want in a pub, from fabulous food and drinks (and now gluten free options!!) to brilliant live music and events. It has a great atmosphere, Fiona and her team are so friendly and welcoming, you feel right at home!! It is the place to be!!

We used to enjoy this place thirty years ago, and returned in 2024 to find it's just as magical as we remember. A hidden gem in Whitstable. Great staff, and a lovely range of simple food and drink deliciously made. They don't sell papers and magazines any more, as the 'times' have moved on!

The service is always super quick here and the building is a beautiful former cinema with some of the original fixtures in and even some old cinema projection equipment in the lobby. The food is good, just as you would expect from this venue, and the prices are reasonable. The staff are very friendly and helpful and almost always with a smile, even when it’s chaotically busy. The atmosphere is mostly good, some younger customers spread out and drink a single drink over 2 hours when everyone is looking for a table but there’s usually a seat available.

Visited whilst on holiday in Whitstable to buy sourdough, I've had sourdough from many different bakeries & this has to be the worst, it was so hard my bread knife had trouble cutting it ! Wasn't too bad toasted with loads of butter but definitely wouldn't buy again, Lidl's is actually far better
