The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Eastbourne South East

This Cafe maybe small but it has a massif big heart of solid Gold. The owner and the regulars made my wife and I most welcome. The coffee was amazing as was our very warm tea cakes. We used this cafe all the time we were in Eastbourne and it didn't disappoint us once either for breakfast or lunch, Had a few lunches as well and according to my wife the best cheese toasty ever. Thank you for making our stay in Eastbourne that so much richer

Very nice café with some unfair or incorrect/inappropriate reviews. I have recently moved to the area and really enjoy my coffee and scones at Corros.The owner always give visitors a warm welcome,the staff are nice.The decor is very stylish and the staff have a uniform dress code.The coffee is excellent. I read two ‘never again’ type reviews and found them a bit unfair,incorrect and inappropriate?One Lady really hammered the place.She said she went with friends and her 19month old who she sat on a spare table to play with cars.How did she know it was a spare table? I am assuming that her friends came alone without children?If they did not then they could be quite a large and noisy group?Corro’s is a nice escape but not a big place so a large group with kids may be better looking elsewhere and I hope they did. Another review said something about soy and it being provided by the cafe in a bad way on three visits?It doesn’t say if she/he brought this up at any stage.IMHO and experience,if you are not happy isn’t it best to address the issues with the staff as you go?If you are still unhappy then you can ask to speak to management.This would help you and the café? I am a satisfied regular and not affiliated with the business or TA. I would like to say that customers can feel confident that Corro’s team is friendly, professional and approachable.

Small but beautifully decorated. Well presented and tasty drinks. Staff were pleasant.

This was the first time we have been into this cafe and I have to say 'cafe' does not do it justice, there is nothing 'greasy spoon' about it, it is has much more of a calm, classy, European vibe. It is simply furnished and somewhat understated, the seats are relatively comfortable and tables are spaced nicely. There is pleasing music playing which is not intrusive or too loud, and not a radio thank goodness. I also noted that they did not have condensed windows which is something I often see with cafes and something that actually really puts me off going in as I hate the feeling of humidity. The menu was absolutely fabulous with wonderful options made up from things like sour bread, paninis, croissants, brioche, chutneys, rocket other speciality breads, pesto, smashed avocado, goats cheese etc and I can vouch that the tea is a quality brand tea served in a sensible size 'chic' mug and not one a silly teacup. Like I said NOT a greasy spoon cafe at all. There was also a lovely selection of fresh homemade cakes. This is now a favourite place to stop for brunch or lunch when visiting the shops in Eastbourne.

These guys are artists. From presentation, to texture and most importantly taste... They know the cake making secrets lost to so many now. This is a whole different level to anything else you get in the vast majority of coffee shops, cafes, etc these days. Real cakes made by really friendly folk who know their craft. 11/10 and a firm favourite. If you get to try their black forest cake with white grenache you will remember it forever... But every cake they make is perfectly crafted! Fruit cake, chocolate cake, and so on... all top quality! Really good coffee too!!! Do it!

The restaurant is clean light and airy with the sort of table layout you expect when dining out. Food is of a very high standard and beautifly presented. I t was a joy to be attended by professinal staff with an attentive and well informed Maitre. The best servioce I've had recently and I would love to return.

This is a lovely little bakery and the staff are very nice. Very occasionally they have a raspberry cheesecake brownie, which is amazing. Apparently it’s a “special” item which they only have once in a blue moon. They should have it all the time because the other two brownies are mediocre at best.

The best breakfast in Eastbourne by far! Great selection,and tea or coffee included in price. Would highly recommend!

It is lovely to sit on the pier with a drink and enjoy the scenery. Staff were very vague about what cocktails were on offer and these seemed to be pre made ones on tap so we stuck to beer and Pimms. The toilets were in a pretty poor state and that was quite off-putting.

Only a few of us in there on the night we were in but I really enjoyed my time there.

My Experience: I visited this restaurant last night and ordered several dishes. At first glance, the presentation of the food was impressive, but that’s where the positives ended. The Dishes: • Duck and Pork Dishes: Both were extremely small portions despite the misleading plating, which made it seem like you were getting more. • Sizzling Chicken: The chicken was rubbery and clearly made from cheap, water-pumped poultry, which ruined the dish entirely. • Salt and Pepper Squid: This was the biggest letdown. It was mostly batter with barely any squid inside, and the flavor was non-existent. Overall Impression: This restaurant seems to prioritize style over substance, a trap many Asian restaurants fall into. As someone in the food industry myself, I know it doesn’t cost significantly more to use higher-quality ingredients. The owner’s unwillingness to address these issues and their dismissive attitude only added to my frustration. Conclusion: I cannot recommend this restaurant and believe they are letting down the local community with their approach to food and service.

Very nice coffee. I’ve got a Chai Latte with a sprinkle of cinnamon and my friend a Latte. Very nice and the service very good. Inside very nice and cozy . Has nice pies and cakes.They’ve got sandwiches as well. Also you can get a stamp each time you bought a coffee and get one free when you got 10 coffees.🤩 Recommend!!

Nicely set out room with the bar as you enter. Usual tap beers and a few real ales available, food is served here also. Wooden floors throughout and descently decorated. Staff were friendly and polite. Beer was good. Enjoyed my visit.
