Really nice place for a coffee and cake. Dog friendly too which is great. The coffee was so delicious I had to find out where it was from(Roastworks)

Apologies for the delay in reviewing! Absolutely brilliant breakfast; delicious, fresh, served hot, fantastic staff and very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend and we'll definitely be back next time we are in St. Ives

Fabulous find! I was hankering for a traditional Cornish scone! And wasn’t disappointed! Freshly made and light - with gorgeous latte too - lovely owners and their little dog! So friendly and cosy - will be back for lunch too!

No estoy seguro de cómo describir este pequeño lugar. Más como una reunión familiar que un restaurante. Sin embargo, la comida (y el servicio) fueron excelentes. Un lugar perfecto para tomar un bocado a un precio razonable, especialmente si se dirige al O 2.

What an amazing place, over the last year I've tried all the cafes in tavistock and this is by far the best. Home cooked food at its best, the quiches and cakes are to die for. They use local ingredients to support other local businesses which is really important to me. If you're taking the kids then the grazing platters are brilliant. The coffee is fantastic, and you get a proper sized cup. The little things really add up here and it's cracking value for the taste and quality of the food.

Wow! The food in here is not for the faint hearted! Luckily we were visiting for a few days so I had the chance to try a few things as I couldn’t choose! Great coffee, delicious pastries and a great place to grab something and head to the coast path. I will be back!

Best Sunday roast lunch we have had in a long time, quality ingredients, plenty of vegetables, friendly service. Will definitely recommend and will be back.

I’m dubious about eating steaks out and paying them as I’m constantly disappointed. Always said we can cook better steak at home. I was delighted to find that when decided to try the steak at the steak at the stumble in it was by far the best I’ve had in the area. Cooked perfectly and so tender. That goes for my partners meal as well. We would highly recommend this place. We have now tried most things on the menu and it never disappoints. The Sunday roast are stunning. Fourteen of us had breakfast at Wesley's on a Thursday morning earlier this month. It was excellent value, the plates were hot and the food was delicious. As always all the staff were welcoming, friendly, efficient and helpful. It's a great place to meet and eat or just pop in for a cup of coffee and a delicious freshly made scone.

Had seen this little place online lots so decided to give it a try. Managed to find a table. Ordered 2 bacon sandwiches & 2 coffees but asked for mine well done. The bacon was cremated unfortunately on both of ours which didn’t bother me but my Dad didn’t enjoy it all all. Coffee was lovely. Service a little on the slow side but there was only 1 lady working and it was reasonably busy so wasn’t a major issue. Will revisit again at some point as it is a lovely little place.

We came here for the afternoon tea and were not disappointed! Easily catering for gluten free and vegetarian. But the best part was, by far, the choice of gateaux that you get. The desserts are made into the shape of apples, cherries, leggings, hazelnuts, so sorts! Really wonderful. Definitely worth a visit if you're near, but worth booking first if you want the afternoon tea.

This restaurant was popular, but,being quite small, has CLOSED at this spot, but HAS MOVED to FORE STREET about 300 yards to the East, near the East Okement River, and its name has changed to " The Allotment ", as it uses food all supplied locally. I highly recommend it for a smiley welcome & good wholesome food. Now sells jams & preserves.
