Not family friendly. They do not like families here. People with children are not made to feel welcome despite a children's food menu. Bar lady extremely rude and obnoxious. Our dog was made to feel more welcome than us as a family. At 3.30pm in an empty pub it was myself and my husband who were told to be quiet because we were enjoying a family game of cards with our 2 children. Our children who I might add are very socially aware and integrated and will happily have a well mannered, polite conversation in any environment. They were not running around the pub being disruptive or causing chaos. They were sat at the table with their parents, a table we chose on the side of the pub with no one else around enjoying a card game. Children should be seen and not heard is very antiquated. If you don't like children just don't allow them instead of making families feel very unwelcome and humiliated just by having a good time together as a family. My children were very upset as were we. Don't expect to be spoken to like that by anyone especially when we are just a family having some family together after an extremely long week. Absolutely so disappointed in the black swan. No one complained about us. No one came to the bar in the time we were sat there it was that empty. Also the previous review is very convenient, a timely family friendly review. Regulars don't check reviews wink wink

126 Haslucks Green Road, EnglandA great family run place, has a great menu and nothing is too much if you want to tweak something or share it. We go at least once a month, It serves what a greasy spoon would but much better quality and reasonably priced. Love the atmosphere, everyone from babies, grandmother's to workers and dog friendly too

They have a great selection of coffees and they get the best out of every single one of them. Great coffee, great staff, great vibe.

Old Buxton Road, EnglandA return to the Ye Olde Rock Inn after many years of not going, I ordered the steak on the menu which was cooked well but wasn’t to my taste. Probably a fault of my own as I had no sauce with it, my pint of Madri tasted off though so was disappointed with this. Service was good and staff were attentive, atmosphere was let down by loud children but this can’t be helped. Would come here again!

31 High Street, EnglandTerrific friendly caffe with good selection of food for take away and sit-in at sensible fees. Always welcoming with a smile, the Australian manager is great finding time however busy to greet and chat with regular customers and deliver excellent service to new as well. Highly recommended.

Bridgnorth Road, EnglandIn a word - Fantastic! We stayed in the Boyne Arms Cottage, the cottage lovely and was well appointed with all of the facilities that you would need for a comfortable stay. The Boyne Arms staff were really friendly and helpful, great service and the food was superb. Tim and Michelle, the proprietors, are so welcoming and friendly, thank you so much. We look forward to staying again in the near future!
