The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Ryedale Yorkshire and The Humber

I visited with a friend for Sunday lunch. They managed to fit us in despite being very busy. Excellent and friendly service. The food was exquisite. Good portion size and delicious.

Stayed a couple of nights as B&B guests. Lovely big room and large ensuite bathroom with both a roll top bath and 'wet room' shower. Huge comfortable bed. Very enjoyable stay - the couple who own it went above and beyond in making it a delightful place to stay. Breakfast is in the cafe - they don't do fried 'English breakfast' but you choose what you want from the cafe menu. Good coffee - was needed after a heavy night out in Helmsley.

We had called in at the shop for some goodies and my husband suggested having a sit down and a cuppa. It was quite late in the afternoon but we were made welcome. Our choices of cake and drinks came quickly. The portions were huge. My self and my daughter had Christmas cake with Wensleydale cheese. we were given 2 slices of cake and enough cheese for both. We enjoyed it so much we went back for a cake to take home with us. All the ladies are lovely, so friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure to visit. Thankyou.

Called in for lunch with a friend. We both had the parsnip soup and a cheese roll. It was busy but we got a table for two. Food was nice.

Visiting Helmsley in the run up to Christmas has become an annual thing for us, and when we come here , a visit to Cornercopia is a must. This is a very smart cafe with absolutely top class service, and their fruit scones are as good as they get.

Decent choice of food available however we ordered pie mash Mushy peas and gravy. Only had 1 pie (so got a pasty as there was 2 of us) Mash was made from a jacket potato it was very lumpy tinned peas over blasted in the microwave served with a smile however forgot the gravy and it arrived half way through us eating the meal. Sadly this place could be a little gold mine if run correctly and proper attention to detail applied with the food. We hafmd our lunch at 12.15 so there was no way they could have ran out of mash? Could do better really

Booked the brewery tour package from Red Letter days. The tour was very informative with Josh being a fountain of knowledge and obviously loving brewing and beer. His witty remarks and low key humour really made the tour enjoyable. The beer tasting in the bar was flexible and offered a pint taken eith as a pint, two halves or a flight of 3, third pints to enable a range to be tried! Although a small brewery they have some quite advanced mechanisation for bottling, canning and casking! Very impressed,

Been here so many times for our ice creams. The choice is extensive and the quality outstanding. By far the best ice cream in the county. Definitely 5* Lunch in the Black Swan and an ice cream waffle cone from here afterwards is the perfect finish before the drive back home.

This cafe has been closed for months. There doesnt seem any sight of it reopening. I think the owner was having staff problems and suffering from unsympathetic reviews. We enjoyed our visits and good food. Shame

Just had dinner at the Forest and as usual it was absolutely first class , the service , the food, everything about it is top drawer ! We cannot recommend it enough for a pleasant meal or experience out!

What a lovely bakery, spoilt for choice.. what I did buy was beautiful & fresh 😋 I would definitely recommend and I will visit again.

Really friendly and tasty fare. Plenty of choice which was a real representation of good Yorkshire fare. Reasonably priced too

Looking for coffee stop on way back to Northumberland from Lincoln. Best coffee in years, then fantastic home made soup and bacon n brie pannini. Well worth changing your route for. Will become regular stop in lovely village which also has terrific bakery.

Excellent quality coffee in both espresso and flat white. Friendly Yorkshire staff, lovely surroundings. Nothing to fault here.
