The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Filey Scarborough Yorkshire and The Humber

After wandering down the sea front we came across this place squeezed in between other business with similar offerings. After checking out the alternative prices and menus we decided on this one and what a great decision that was. We had the Banofee Crepes and Nutella, really reasonable pricing and really hit the spot. Perfect little treat and not sickly either. Just right!

Lovely food, cakes, and treats - something for everyone. Friendly service with a smile. Excellent stop off for holiday makers and locals alike.

Although the food was ok, I shall not be visiting again. They state they are dog friendly but today me my husband and two friends and 3 dogs patiently waited outside for a table, when entering the cafe, sitting down and eating lunch my dogs were very quiet, although upon leaving my senior dog started to bark, a waitress came up and asked me to stop my dog Barking as there were people in the cafe that didn't have dogs, my husband had already taken the other 2 dogs out of the cafe and I was hurrying trying to put putting my coat on about to leave. I would suggest if they don't want dogs to bark occasionally then don't allow dogs into your premises, we had eaten there on a previous occasion with no issues, I was quite offended by this comment and will not be returning.

We always liked coming here but recently they have a ridiculous rule about not letting your dog drink out of a dish you bring with you. My dog won't share water with other dogs and I don't particularly want it catching an illness, so it had to go without. Apparently it's because they think a dog will splash water on the floor and someone might slip, which could easily be fixed with some blue roll or a mop. Children spill their drinks too, but I guess that must be non-slip liquid. Will eat elsewhere in future.

Gorgeous place to come to and is always on our list as a ' must go to'when we are in Filey. Beautiful setting and everything here is really delicious. The lemon meringue tart and coffee cake are to die for. It's lovely sitting outside and enjoying the sunshine. Sadly it was raining today and as we have a dog we couldn't go in, there was some seating under a canopy for the ice creams but sadly for us just a bit too chilly to sit out. It is cash only so that is something to always remember when visiting.

We'd been walking around Filey on a wet morning and were looking for a spot of lunch. This place fitted the bill, service is friendly and we both had the soup of the day - clam chowder which came with a bread roll.

Lovely little coffee shops. Only had a hot chocolate, but it was huge with lots of cream and marshmallows! Dog friendly and a good sized menu, food looked good and friendly staff!

Fabulous little bar/ bistro. Exceptional owners, Karen & Neil and fantastic bar staff. We were in the bar on NYE , oh what a superb night from beginning to the end . Anyone visiting Filey, this bar is a must, you will not be disappointed

What was Cobble Bar and Bistro is now called the Bay View Restaurant, which is why it is reported as being permanently closed. This has been our choice of eating places in Filey for a number of years, and we were happy to find the name is the only thing that has changed. It was a bit breezy to sit on the terrace, but it is bright and light inside, and you can still enjoy the view. There is a wide choice of food, with substantial portions, with efficient and friendly service, at sensible prices.

Poor breakfast very disappointed Tinned mushrooms were inedible. Sausage was deep fries Coffee dissapointing.Before this cafe changed hans it was exceptional. Wonderful Breakfasts and salads. Won't be back.

I remember this from a misspent youth in Filey when it was known as The American Bar. It is out of the way and most trippers will miss it. That is probably why there were just four locals propping up tha bar when we walked in. They were aimiable enough and happy to share banter and a bit of mickey taking. A nice drop of beer on the bar too. This place won't be for everyone. You probably will find it a bit frosty unless you make the effort. But it's comfortable, has a good range of beers, and you probably won't struggle to find a seat.

This fish and chip cafe has lovely views over the beach. It has a decent amount of internal and external seating and a good menu. The service was great. The chips were lovely and my Whitby Scampi was delicious. It was also really good value.
