Called for lunch with a friend. Lovely atmosphere and decor Fairly basic menu but after speaking to James they aim to have minimal waste so more will be added to menu as more customers visit. Staff very attentive and helpful without being intrusive and food tasty and served with minimal waiting time. Highly recommend a visit to either sit in the outside terrace in the sun or inside in the beautifully decorated interior in what look like very comfy seating

I didn’t think I would be able to get on board with healthy food but Just Finished my first batch of meals and I thoroughly enjoyed them all.Kind and helpful staff made ordering a breeze, Thanks a bunch

Small, but very pleasant venue. Delightful staff. Perfectly situated on corner of town centre. Always enjoy tea and scones with friends!

This is now a pizza place! The Eastern Europeans have moved out... I had a quick beer and a take away to take on to the train. Service was quick, the beer was fresh and the food excellent.

Wow what can I say. Absolutely fantastic for their shakes,cakes and waffles are out of this world. Huge selection of shakes

Everything was first rate. Proper old-school cafe with lovely, friendly atmosphere, good service from happy staff and good choice of excellent food, at sensible prices. Only wish my appetite was bigger!

First visit this morning. I ordered 2 breakfast and wow what a breakfast

My friend called in to Faye's Sandwich Bar, I waited in car. He bought a sandwich for himself and bought me large spam, egg & beans buttie. I like to look at what I am about to eat, so I folded back the top slice of bread and their I saw a horrible looking hair on top of the fried egg. It put me off so I threw it to the ducks on the river air. My friend informed me that the male who was preparing the food did not have a hair net on. I would never eat from this establishment or have any food bought for me from here again. Grubby

Excellent New Years Eve Murder Mystery party. The food was delicious, the service was excellent and the effort that went into the murder mystery was just outstanding! They had catered for everyone food wise and game wise. Quizzes on the table that lead to clues for those less inclined to mingle and fantastic scripts for those that really wanted to get involved. The bonus rounds were hilarious. Massive thanks and congratulations to the event organisers. It was brilliant, I’d highly recommend and hope to be back next year to improve my mystery solving skills!
