The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Wakefield Yorkshire and The Humber

Wow! Found this lovely cafe by chance today. We fastened our bikes up and sat inside the food was delicious and well presented, very reasonable too.

Good breakfast and lunch food at good price. Also do deliveries. Great value.

We drove here on Sunday for lunch, but they weren’t serving food at 2pm. I’m not sure if they had stopped serving food for the day, or if they don’t serve food at all anymore. Past reviews and website suggests that you do serve food…quite strange

When in for food from the electric kitchen and a pint. Spot on. Food excellent beer ok.. food a lot better with more choice on the menu.

Visited this pub recently on a saturday night was quit quiet which i usually like but felt very off in thie pub. Woman at the bar was very not friendly and complained when i went to use the restroom. Wouldnt come back. stay away.

Sunday afternoon family Birthday meal with 20 adults and one child. We were seated on 3 tables. The staff were good. The food mostly also good but one or two of our group did have slight issues. The one portion of venison was dry. Some vegetables too hard and Yorkies not the best ! Have to say the 3 courses I had were all good. The wife steak and ale pie was very good. Three of us ordered from the special board but was then told afterwards that there was only one portion of the Venison so two of us had to reorder ! For a large party most of the meals arrived in good time, no one was left waiting. Drinks had to be ordered at the bar, not sure if that was due to the large party. 3 bottles of Champagne was ordered for the toast but unfortunately when a 4th was wanted we were told there was only 3 bottles in the cellar. The restaurant got a little busy with several groups waiting at the bar for their table to be free. That may have been our partly’s fault as our large group over ran a little due to a late arrival. We were never pushed or rushed by the staff. I would recommend the Blue Bell and return in the new year.

Smashing local pub nice food at a reasonable price

Scrambled eggs were more water/milk than eggs, not very nice and as hard as the staff try the quality of the service and the food has gone down. Never have enough bacon. And portion of mushrooms added to my sausage sandwich was pitiful. I believe there were about 8 slices. For the best part of two hours wage you expect something that leaves you feeling appreciated and not a burden.

Visit this place every week, never ever had a bad coffee, sandwich or sweet treat! Top staff n service, Jamie the barista makes a mean latte and the ingredients they use are excellent

Was staying with family for few days and they recommended having Sunday lunch here. Very popular so had to park in street. Told that pub was full but could have roast in a box in garden room. Wasn't expecting much but when got to garden room it was amazing. Nice outdoor undercover bar and then huge marquee with sofas, tables, patio heaters, nice atmosphere and very busy. A really nice venue and a nice vibe. Friendly staff and food - roast in a box arrived quickly. Good portion size and food was good. We ordered beef - well cooked and very tasty but no Yorkshire pudding. Guests who ordered the chicken got Yorkshire pudding with theirs. When we mentioned this to lady who cleared plates she was very apologetic and said you should have had Yorkshire pudding with the beef, will tell the chef, he must have forgotten to put one on, so sorry. Came back and offered us option of bringing some Yorkshire pudding and gravy or offered us both a complimentary dessert instead. Now that is good customer service We accepted the desserts and they were very nice - toffee and honeycomb cheesecake and chocolate fudge cake. Both very nice. A great lunch, good food, great atmosphere, friendly staff, reasonable prices. Would go back and would recommend. A great find. Thank you

Stopped by for one and wished I had more time and no car. Great authentic British pub with lovely staff in a super friendly environment. They also had a wide range of local/craft beers. And if you like dogs , there was plenty there too. Banging Boozer.

Came for lunch on Saturday. My partner had the full Monty and I had the traditional breakfast. It was lovely and hot with absolutely no grease. The staff were very friendly especially the young waitress. Thanks for a great visit and see you again soon 😁
