Thank you to Eli who not only cleaned up the babycino, my son dropped on the floor, he also made a fresh cuppa for him.

Forget the silly reviews from people who have hardly reviewed any places. I only post reviews for Pam se I recommend and this is one of them. First thanks to the team and especially the lady who described her self as also a travel agent in the week. She made us so welcome and enhanced our visit. My French friend described the venison hot dogs as the best he had ever tried and he had previously lived in the US. I think the waitress may have mistakenly thought he was joking when he said it but he wasn’t. He continued mentioning it well into the afternoon. My BLT was perfect. And I decided to take a fruit scone home to saviour after our bike ride. I normally judge a place by its scones and these fruit scones were absolutely packed with fruit. Best I have had in quite some time. Clean loos and pleasant outside area. All in all thanks we real,y enjoyed it.

Forgot to write my review as me and my gran went in September 2024 but I was just talking about my experience with a friend which reminded me I should write my review! We were quite impressed with this place, we went for 2 nights - the staff were so accommodating and lovely people. What had happened was we turned up to check in, and the lady at the reception gave us our key, so we go up to our room and realised the room hadn’t been cleaned since the last people left, the bed wasn’t made and used coffee cups etc were still left there. We went down to let them know and they were incredibly apologetic about it, the lady at reception looked genuinely mortified like this doesn’t happen a lot at all, they sat us down in the beautifully furnished stag themed room and gave us free tea and coffee whilst we waited for them to set up our room. Half an hour or so later they told us we could go into the room. It was beautifully made, we loved the tartan theme! We totally forgave them for the mistake, mistakes happen and they were very apologetic and genuine about it all, it doesn’t put us off coming back anyways. I slept in the single bed whilst my gran had the double - the single was very comfy, my gran said her bed wasn’t the most comfortable but she is quite picky with beds and mattresses but it did the job. Breakfast was included in our room and was quite good, lovely vegetarian fry up! One night we decided to have dinner there in the pub, my gran was raving about the mac and cheese and thoroughly enjoyed it. I got the veggie haggis, neeps and tatties which was so good! Each time we were in contact with the staff, they were always pleasant and cheerful and happy to take on any feedback and made us feel comfortable and at ease. Me and my gran were saying next time we decide to come back to Pitlochry that we will stay here again, really decent price and lovely hard working staff. Thanks for the lovely experience :)

A busy city centre coffee destination during a period of Christmas activity. It was busy and many tables were not available because they had not been cleared. The staff were also busy with one server making drinks and serving leading to a longer than normal wait. The second server seemed consumed with the dishwasher, trying to feed the demand for cups. An extra pair of hands would solve this issue and someone clearing tables regularly would help in getting customers to move on and give up tables for others. A lot of people looked like they had been there a long time and not purchased much... I have used this venue before and also felt that table clearing was poor and that leads to a general feeling that the cleanliness is not what it should be. It is very good coffee and with an uplift in some welcoming greetings that would make up for an untidy coffee shop.
