Absolutamente auténtica comida griega, me sentí como si estuviera de vuelta en Skiathos! El encantador ambiente, la cerveza y los cócteles servidos en vasos de acero y "vasos", y Sofía, nuestra encantadora camarera, fue un placer servirnos, todo el personal parecía muy amable. ¡Llevé a mi madre anciana allí y ella realmente lo disfrutó! Volveremos pronto espero!

Staff are great, fab service - efficient and friendly. Food okay but it is TOO LOUD in there. Why do they play the music so unbelievably loud? Makes it impossible to hear your dinner party guests without shouting, it’s like eating in a nightclub but in daylight. My throat hurts from shouting over the music. Twice we asked the waiter to get the DJ to turn down the music. This improved the atmosphere immediately, but the DJ increased it yet again. Please, Ours, control your DJ. It would have been a 5 star review from me if not for that.

We visited for Sunday lunch on 5th January, for the second time, and it was just as excellent as the first time just before Christmas! Honestly one of the best pub roasts I’ve had for a long long time and, while it was lovely to have a peaceful unhurried lunch with my family, I feel it should be a lot more popular. The staff are friendly and remembered us from our first visit, and service was excellent. The cheesey leeks/cauliflower on the roast are beyond good!

Woodside Stores has been a good old fashioned sandwich shop for years. Even though it has recently changed ownership, quality and service have been consistent. It offers fantastic value for money and is worth a visit!

Good place for large families and cheap.

My good friend and I popped in for Hot Wings. We were hungry before going onto a drinks gathering. Well, they were hot 🔥mouth on fire. Loved them, though. It was cold outside. We wanted a hot drinking chocolate, but Nandos didn't do hot chocolate. What a bummer.🙁

Reservé una mesa para 2 personas a las 8 pm y estábamos deseando una comida y un gran jazz en vivo que debía comenzar a las 10 : 30 pm. Mis preocupaciones comenzaron cuando llegamos y estaban tocando música estándar de Navidad. Al menos esperábamos jazz como música de fondo. Mis preocupaciones continuaron cuando se nos pidió que pagáramos nuestra primera ronda de bebidas antes de que fueran compradas a nuestra mesa. Como teníamos más de dos horas antes de la música en vivo queríamos extender nuestra comida. Empezamos con el hummus y el pan pitta. Era claramente estándar supermercado pitta y hummus de un frasco! Luego pedimos 3 platos de tapas con papas fritas y una vez más tuvimos que pagar cuando se ordenó! Me pareció extraño, ya que es un lugar pequeño e íntimo con 6 empleados, así que si están preocupados por los clientes que se van sin pagar, sería muy difícil, especialmente porque también hay un guardia de seguridad en la puerta. ¡Descubrí por qué cuando llegó la comida! El tamaño de la porción era porciones de “aperitivo” y la calidad era terrible! La tortilla era descuidada e insípida, las patatas fritas estaban quemadas y marrón oscuro en algunos lugares, las tiras de pollo eran nuggets de pollo, probablemente de un paquete congelado de Islandia de 99 p, las samosas eran pálidas y la guarnición de la ensalada era, bueno, simplemente inapetitiva. Todo fue servido en un plato de plástico que nos recordó cómo se sirve la comida de la prisión. Después de haber pagado más de £ 43 por una cola simulada, un cóctel y esta basura, pusimos nuestras excusas, pedimos un reembolso de las £ 40 para el espectáculo en vivo, y nos fuimos. Hemos recibido un reembolso de las £ 40. Creo que es hora de que este lugar se retire antes de que el Consejo de Westminster lo haga por ellos. Como londinense de 54 años, este es el peor lugar en el que hemos estado. Al menos salimos, la comida está libre y tenemos una historia que contar a nuestros amigos.

Absolutely awful food!, Has made me ill.

Best for kebabs. Hygienic, friendly and good food.

We used to stay at The Haven many moons ago and wanted to return to see it. It was also a lovely day and hoped we could sit outside and watch the world go by in and out of Poole Harbour. Things started well but gradually became more worrying as our food did not arrive. We ended up waiting around 1.5 hours for our food with no explanation from the kitchen, despite waiting staff apologetically telling us food was ok minutes away. When the food did arrive, my sandwich looked like it had been toasted, it had sat on the pass for that long. They made me another sandwich and took it off the bill. The whole order should have been reimbursed but the bar manager didn't seem to think a 1.5 hour wait for food was problematic. Lovely setting, food good but staff judgement when things went wrong fell well short in my opinion.

Lunchtime concerts are excellent and varied music. And the food is excellent also

This was our second visit and it didn’t disappoint, you immediately feel welcome when you walk in, the staff are just lovely and the food is superb, the place is immaculately presented but still maintains the feel of a country pub, I cannot recommend this place enough for a good hearty meal in very pleasant surroundings. Very dog friendly too!
