This place is absolutely amazing ! They serve authentic italian pizza. And good thing about them that they always have good offers on ! The seating area is also nice, lots of space, calm and relax environment! Would definitely recommend to anybody who is looking for italin authentic pizzas !

This used to serve the best pizza for miles but the pizza chef left: : not sure what it like now for food. However, a great place with excellent beers : great for early doors

So first of all as a Scouse pizza connoisseur (SPC). I know a good pizza when I eat one and yeah I might have seen the odd rat or two outside BUT this is the nicest pizza I’ve ever had (never seen one inside) been eating here for years and have never been let down once. I’ll honest it’s better than DOMINOS and RUDYS price included. (Get the honey pepperoni pizza)

Popped in here for a sandwich lunch and tea. The staff were very attentive and the meal was prepared quickly. Wife had Tuna and mayo (a favourite of hers) and I had Atlantic prawn sandwich. both were served with a small side salad and plain crisp. Unfortunately the Tuna sandwich had a bit of a funny taste, the tuna smelt OK so we can only think it was something in the mayo. At one point the owner came over to check if everything was ok, and whilst we did not want to make a fuss (other people on the same table) I did ask what he tuna sandwich had in it and was advised just mayo. The owner was concerned why we asked but we played it down as not not raise an issue about the food. I also tasted it and agreed that it was not right so my wife discreetly wrapped them up and threw the sandwich away. My Atlantic prawn sandwich had a lot of filling but too be honest no real taste and were smaller that shrimps I have seen and had in the past, so again a bit of a disappointment. Finally having ordered a pot of tea for 2, I was very surprised to get a tea pot the same size I have had in many other restaurants and cafe that was a pot of tea for one. It certainly was not what I consider a pot of tea for 2 like other places I have ordered from. Not a particularly good review from me for the Driftwood, but in all my reviews I am always honest and hope it will go someway to improve things, and is as it is on the day of my visit. I will re emphasise that the owner did show concern and stated that he wanted to make sure we were happy with the meal, but the area was crowded with people and did not want to draw attention to this situation. I will add that the whitebait on the next table looked excellent.

This place is probably the only takeaway that's been around since I was a younga, I'm mid 40s now so it's been there 20-30 years so to survive that long with I believe the original owners really speaks volumes. It's only let down is it's size and it's a little dingy, but it's in Dewsbury so I think nearly everything looks a little dingy anyway, so no love loss there. The food especially the Italian dishes have good flavour, the staff are helpful and the doner meats good probably the 2nd best in town, anyway I hope this helps ppl out, much love T x
