On the road to Lincoln we came across this fish and chip takeaway. Easy parking outside. We fancied chips and curry sauce, which is what we ordered. Despite reading reviews below, the chips were absolutely ace and had good flavour and the curry sauce was just perfect as expected in a chip shop. Good portion size and friendly staff. Would definitely visit again if in the area. Well done!!

I have been eating here once a week for the past 6 months and never had a bad meal or bad deal. A great selection of the simple food you'd expect from a chip shop (fish & chips, pies, sausages, kebabs) and also some curries and tikka, and really good pizzas, and more. Massive portions, at very reasonable prices and the food tastes great. The staff are friendly, mostly sikhs I believe (hence people of honour who would not give you a bad deal) and efficient: I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes when ordering in the shop. I think it's one of the best chip shops I have been to anywhere. I look forwards to my weekly visit to the Big Fish and I'd eat there every night were it not for the fact that I must watch my weight! I'm heading there tonight and am looking forwards to it already!

I cannot tell you how poor this place is for chips. For the other bits they sell, I honestly can't say as I've only ever given them a chance time and time again just to cook a simple portion of chips (it's a chippy!!). Always undercooked, anemic and almost white, soggy or raw, horrible. I'm done now I just give up. Miserable teenage girls serve you, and to be totally honest they probably get this from the miserable husband and wife who own it. FGS just smile and be grateful that people still actually spend money here. You only open on matchdays, so if you can't be bothered with 1 or 2 days a month then just throw in the towel. It's no wonder you're up for sale, you opened a chippy but literally cannot even cook a chip.

Badly cooked chips, all hard and barely warm when served. Small portion £2.80 is just that only big enough for a child. Will drive by in the future.

Went in after work, we got there at 19:35, ordered a large bag of chips, 1 steak pie, large gravy & a large peas. 3 people in front of us, after 10 mins someone walked in & ordered a large chips, they got served straight away, so why couldn’t they have completed our order. After 30 mins we questioned why it was taking so long, they advised really busy, got told to not get upset, asked for our money back. Will not being going there again
