Nice enough - husband really liked, I was less enamoured. Can't complain about portion size, if anything far too generous. Shop could do with looking a bit nicer (do you want to eat food from somewhere which, in the public areas, has gaffer tape on the benches and posters/cards for events that happened months ago?) I'd visit again, but only if I was hungry/it was raining heavily and didn't fancy walking a bit further from home.

We ordered lobster roll expecting some beautifully presented lobster curled round a tasty dressing. What turned up was a scant tablespoon of chopped overcooked lobster in a cold, cheap, tasteless white finger roll of bread that would have disgraced the bargain shelf of the cheapest supermarket. It was inedible. The side of hispi cabbage was well cooked, thankfully, or I would have left feeling very hungry. There are no loos. You have to use the dimly lit and droughty public loos in the adjacent council carpark. This is possibly the worst restaurant in St. Ives.

Worst breakfast in ivybridge. On the face of it , it looks ok until you taste the poor quality goods. Cheap sausage, cheap baked beans , egg smothered in oil, horrible brown sauce. £1 extra for ONE slice of bread and butter. At this price range (£8.50) they could use quality products and still make profits. First and last meal there. Better options only 2 mins away.

Portions are generous, 5 of us shared 2 large & 1 small cod & chips & there were masses of chips left over. Ordered over the phone, so didn’t wait long. We all really enjoyed it, crisp batter, fresh perfectly cooked fish & tasty chips. As expected prices have increased but it was worth it. I will use Harley’s again, but confused as it says Stoby’s on the door

Very nice - quite amusing how everyone waits in the street for orders to come out. really nice food. Four of us ate 3 cod and two large portions of chips.

I am thrilled that you are getting back up and running. I've had so many relaxed and friendly hours in the cafe with friends that I am looking forward to more accompanied by a fab nut roast and side salads fit for a queen. Airy and plenty of space (unlike other cafes that cram as many in as they can) so it feels very Covid safe even without have to make big changes.

Used to love the food here, put havent been for some time. Ordered 2 lots of large Cod and chips, i assumed when they were dishing it up that they had given me a Cod bite in each meal. I said i'd ordered large cod, and the lady looked taken aback.. I also ordered 2x battered sausages, The batter would always be nice thick and crispy, but this time it looked like the sausges had been dunked in milk!! The curry sauce although tasty, was more like a very runny gravy. You now have to pay for the tartar sauce (that used to be free) you longer get a slice of lemon. So 2x Very small cod and chips, 2x horrible very lightly battered sausges, 1x tiny tartar sauce, and a small runny curry sauce was £33 Wont be going back, ever.
