The best restaurants serving Seafood food in England

The service is fantastic, the food, not so much. Just simply not worth the money. I would never recommend. The caviar is flavorless. Do yourself a favor and walk up to the Gordon Ramsey restaurant!

Ordered with just eat on line. Advised at time of order 15 to 30 mins. No food after 1 hour. tried to cancel but not allowed. Contacted Marino who very sorry but no driver to deliver. He even called himself but no help from Just eat. Don't use Just Eat. This is not the first time this has happened. Marino himself then delivered our order just before 20.00. Lovely food. Many thanks to Marino. Just Eat can shove it. I will contact them.

This has to be the WORST shop for a kebab it was clearly cooked a while ago it was cold and hard and tastes of old fat yuck never wasting my money in there again !!!

Fantastic little find best tasting fish and chips home made mushy peas in bridlington ,best fish shop by far ,the lady running it was really nice and friendly had a lovely chat with us ,we sat in and was made very welcome we will be back weve been on holiday 2 weeks and been back 3 times

Disaster.!! This is situated along a strip of 3 takeaways 5 mins from my house and use the others weekly. Avoided the chip chip due to past experiences but thought “I’ll give it a go” 10 min wait for fish which I thought was great (freshly cooked) crispy one end, soggy the other and dry in the middle and all I tasted was grease. Chicken gravy was bisto in a 8oz tub for £1.60. Now… buttered bread roll WOW I got a seeded Berger bun x2 for £3.60 with no butter (was expecting a sunflower spread at Least. Didn’t order but noticed £4.80 for chips and £6.00 for cheesy, £2.20 for cheese 🤔. Dans fish bar and north camp fish bar best in the area please take my advice here this place is a catastrophe

Once again, rubbish service. Ordered quarter crispy duck with the usual accompanying pancakes, sauce and salad. Was ready when I arrived. Once I got home, there were no pancakes and no sauce. Line engaged when tried to call back. Last time I went I ordered fish. When I got that home it was really dried up and inedible. Will definitely not be going back and will not be recommending !!!

First time at George’s, waited ten minutes for fresh cod and chips and it was definitely worth it, one of the best I’ve had, will definitely be returning!

Good chips, excellent fish and excellent and friendly service. It was very clean and the portions were a good size. A medium chips did both of us.

Really nice fish and chip but unfortunately after tonight I won't be going anymore as the price has gone up again !! £20.60 is just not acceptable for two portions ..

Decidí intentarlo por primera vez, ya que había oído que era increíble, tristemente no me di cuenta de que esas opiniones se basaban en propietarios / gerentes anteriores. La comida no era la mejor. Pedí a través de la aplicación solo comer y llegó en 15 minutos. Desafortunadamente el saveloy era muy suave / flácido y un poco mal cocinado, el pescado rebozado tenía un gran crujiente, pero el pescado estaba muy seco y soso. El pez mediano era del mismo tamaño que el pequeño pero cobraba más de £ 2 de diferencia. La hamburguesa de pollo estaba bien y las papas fritas no sabían ni parecían frescas como si hubieran estado sentadas debajo de un calentador durante un tiempo. 15 años en el negocio y múltiples tiendas como dices en otros comentarios, sin embargo, no te gusta cuando alguien te da una opinión honesta sobre su pedido y afirma que es una reseña falsa. Esta no es una reseña falsa y llevaré esta queja a la aplicación que pedí. Espero que su año 16 en el negocio comience a servir mejor comida de calidad y valor

I’ve been coming here since 2015 with my friends and colleagues and we’ve always had the best experience! This time on Saturday had the most disgusting service by these young boys and the manager Anthony was useless ! I told them to split the chips so mum can have without salt and vinegar ! They barely gave any chips the bag was as light as a feather ! I’ve taken pics ! Disgusting service scammed me and laughed at me when I left ! Other customers came out and told me they were notified at them and saw they barely gave any chips ! I will report this place to trading standard and will never come to such a pathetic place where they are scamming us. Me took my money but barely gave me chips ! Shame on you all

Fantastic service and wonderfully fresh fish. Batter was spot on and chips, savaloy, onion rings and curry sauce all hit the spot. Thank you!

We visit occasionally and whilst it’s not as good as our local chippy, in the past it has generally been ok. Not sure whether it has changed hands, but today we were quite disappointed. The chips were quite anaemic, oversized and not particularly tasty. We asked for a small fish and I’m not sure what it was but it was tasteless. We had a large chips to share, small fish, a mince beef onion pie and large gravy which came to £14, which we don’t think was particularly good value for money. Only went in because our local doesn’t open on Wednesdays, probably won’t bother again.

The worst fish and chips I’ve ever had. Hard hips and leathery batter. I ordered by phone and collected at 5.30. Very disappointing.

Staff were welcoming and our order was taken promptly; food arrived quite quickly too. We decided to order the set lunch; we ended up having all three courses, as the portions were really rather small. I had the soup (very hot and spicy, but that was no bad thing on a cold day) followed by the courgette linguine; my companions both had the mackerel followed by the skate, which they said was very good. For dessert two of us had the burnt basque cheesecake; I had never eaten a burnt basque (!), so thought I should give it a try. Very creamy but – yes, rather burnt at the side. The third person had the cheese plate, which was almost too big. I have some slight mobility issues, but could not see a disabled toilet, so I had to descend the steep stairs which I found rather precarious. The floor at the bottom is very uneven, so beware. A good choice for a light lunch, and not too crowded.
