The best restaurants serving Seafood food in England

We have a B&B in Penzance and have been frustrated by the lack of great places to eat between 2.30pm & 6pm. We need to eat at these times but more importantly our guests do! Delighted to rock up to the Vault Kitchen at 3pm with our dog Elvis today to be met by Lee & Mallery. So impressed with the service and food, happy to wait for obviously fresh cooked food. So impressed with Lee who not only offered great service but also handled a very uncomfortable situation without fuss, Providing ice cream for Elvis despite not having desserts on the menu. We will be back for all the events that Lee marketed. Final note.... Lee questioned our tip as thought we had made a mistake. Lee! You are worth every penny and more x

Sin embargo, me gusta esperar en una cola igual que cualquier otra persona, para luego ser tratado como si fuera un idiota es algo con lo que no estoy contento. Tuve que esperar detrás de alguien que había ordenado cocinar todas las hamburguesas del lugar. Esto parecía ser lo único que podía hacer el asistente, no me preguntaba qué quería ni ayuda alguna. Una vez que esperé la cantidad de tiempo que aparentemente tenía que esperar, el asistente consideró preguntarme a mí y CADA persona en la tienda lo que querían, y luego se fue a la parte trasera de la tienda para poner pescado en el que nadie tenía pidió - entonces ella regresó y consideró servirme. Ahora aquí es donde comienza la diversión y puedo perder a algunos de ustedes aquí, ya que todos ustedes pueden ser fanáticos de leer las paredes detrás del mostrador, pero yo no. Claramente, hay especiales para la hora del almuerzo y estos, como ahora sé, después de haberme dicho esto de manera bastante grosera, están en algún lugar de la pared posterior. En realidad, no sé por qué el asistente se estaba molestando conmigo por esto, ya que había pedido algo que estaba en el almuerzo especial, pero simplemente le repetí mi pedido y me cobró la misma cantidad pero sin explicarme los especiales y que yo sepa lo que son Encontré esto grosero y muy inútil. Si el asistente aquí no puede tener algún tipo de servicio al cliente, entonces no debería trabajar en la industria de servicios. Ah, y la comida tampoco era buena: chips poco cocidos cocinados en algo que no sabe bien y una salchicha que fue parte del aterrizaje del Día D. Vaya a esta comida para llevar de comida mediana y pruebe el servicio al cliente y las delicias gastronómicas, pero tenga cuidado.

We decided this stay would arrive early and eat in the restaurant for lunch. The food was gorgeous. Fish and chips with the fish so fresh and portion size enormous. It’s such a unique setting. Had relaxed lunch much with drinks and coffee to finish. Good price set menu. As with the hotel the staff are a credit and nothing too much trouble

Pedido de curry, arroz con patatas fritas grandes Curry, arroz y embutido pequeño y llegó a £ 10. 30 tuvimos que esperar al curry y el arroz estaba empapado y crujiente nunca antes habíamos tenido un arroz tan asqueroso. Siempre tuve una experiencia agradable antes de este tiempo.

Since the new owners took over the Sea queen is worth a visit. The batter is amazing, the fish is fresh and the chips are really good. The small cod is the length of a dinner plate so not really that small!

Tried soooo many times to order from here but every single time, they cancel it. God knows why. But I give up now

Considering this chippy was supposed to be headed by Stein it was horrendous. Bought fish and chips and it was small, and very greasy.

Amazing get a battered mars bar

Fair enough the room needed updating with the wallpaper hanging off the ceiling in the bathroom but you can't complain for the price, it was clean ,the bed was comfy ,tea and coffee facilities always topped up ,you've got a telly and the rooms lovely and warm ,the breakfast was spot on with good service and the staff were very helpful, there's a bus outside that takes you to Seahouses and Alnwick ,a lovely walking area along the park plenty pubs and restaurants and a great shopping area ,overall I would definitely stay in this hotel again .

Was Good fish and chips but like alot of things they've gone down hill. Chips more like a boiled blob than nicely fried.

Here in Stratford-upon-Avon on a few days holiday. Got a take away fish, chips and curry for tea. Great guys, super friendly, very efficient, fresh cooked and super tasty!!!!! Great food, fantastic service, what more would you want!!!!

It's been a while since we ordered from Old Town Friar, but today we had the most amazing gluten free fish and chips. It arrived on time, was lovely and hot. We had large cod and it was large. Cooked perfectly with a delicious crispy batter. Many thanks
