The best restaurants serving Seafood food in England

I've eaten here a few times and highly recommend.

This is so disappointing to have to write this review about this restuarant. This is the fifth time we have dined at Sea Beats and have to say after this time we will not be visiting again. We booked a table for last Saturday night for four persons @ 7.30 pm. Prior to going my wife looked at the Menu online and it is still showing a wonderful array of dishes. When we were seated the waiter gave us four set menu's that showed quite a limited choice and immediately told us that there were no more Scallops for the starter and this was at 7.30 pm! My wife asked why this was a different menu to what is online and his reply was "online is the Summer menu with much more choice but now we are doing the Winter menu" ? In that case put that online rather than misleading people to what is available. The service was also quite slow ans quite a long wait between starts and mains. Our starter was Salt & Pepper Squid with chili jam. The portion was meagre, four tiny bits of battered Squid with very little Chili jam. My main was Prawn Linguine which was okay apart from the were the tiniest Prawns I have ever seen and in fact I would say they were Shrimps. It was also flooded with cream, far too much for the dish. My wife had mussells for the main and unfortunately they were only warm and not hot. Overall a very disappointing evening, such a shame because this was one of the stand out restuarants in Weymouth of which we do not have that many. Sorry Sea Beats but we will not be coming back.

First time there for a work Christmas dinner. Food was delicious and service friendly and welcoming!

First time visiting Felix Warley and will definitely not be the last, loved the menu choice, food was beautiful and the service was great.

Best chippy and good amount of food

Called in for a lunch bite at this cosy pizza/pasta eaterie. Had a very tasty Napoli pizza, good thin crust, quality ingredients, helped with a velvety glass of Montepulciano. Cool, relaxed vibe backed with an impossibly romantic Italian playlist.

Very disappointing dining experience for my husband’s birthday. We were excited to try this place given that we both love seafood and supporting family-owned businesses, but the service here was truly horrendous. The owner completely disregarded us and only paid attention to other guests that he seemingly knew prior. I understand that we were not the regular guests there, but it’s not the way to treat new customers. When we first came in, the waiter said we can choose any table since they barely had any people inside, so we sat in the corner table as it seemed cozy and intimate for a birthday dinner, but much later we were asked to move to another table by the owner for other guests he was familiar with. There were plenty of other available tables so it did not feel right that we were the only ones who were asked to move. We asked the owner to keep the table since we were celebrating the birthday, but our request was ignored. The food was quite average. If you like seasoned and flavorful seafood, this place might not be for you. In the end, it was almost impossible to get the waiter’s attention and ask for the bill as they were seemingly ignoring us. I’m surprised by the amount of positive reviews for this place, as this is not what we have experienced here.

Very busy bank holiday Sunday special occasion wedding anniversary. Staff friendly and welcoming food was excellent had starters crab on toast . Then mains wife had Portuguese stew and I had Thai halibut food was brilliant with a bottle of wine and desserts would highly recommend

We drive over an hour to this beautiful place. It's absolutely outstanding fish. Always fried fresh. The waiting staff are lovely. Very efficient. I've yet to find a better fish and chips . Also it's very clean

Good old English fish & chip shop

Had a long relaxing lunch with my partner. They were super busy but the staff were so efficient. The food is high quality yet simple. Loved it.

Stone cold chips don't mind paying 3+ pounds for chips but they got to be hot
