The best restaurants serving Spanish food in England

Had a superb pre-movie dinner here, with the most amazing iberico pork fillet cooked to perfection like a medium rare steak, accompanied by a punchy romesco sauce. Also loved the aniseed crackers paired with slices of manchego and membrillo. Thoroughly recommend.

This is a great place to relax and 'lounge'. I have always found the staff to be friendly and attentive and the food to be simple but satisfying. Keep it up guys and girls!

Had a really very nice lunch at the restaurant. Every dish was so good. The lady that served us was excellent and very friendly. Will be going back again.

Tried to visit, checked website and social platforms if need to call to reserve. Refommened not to reserve. Turned up sbowing open online but then found it was closed for private event?? No information posted anywhere, bit of a joke

I have been coming to Jose since I moved into the area 12 years ago, it used to be my favorite place, we go there some times twice a week for dinner, I even had a 10 years anniversary pin, that’s how much I love Jose! it was always fun and authentic. However, the last two times we were there has been a huge disappointment, it honestly breaks my heart to write this review and sadly we won’t be returning. Other than your croquette are still consistent and tasty, your signature dishes has gone downhill, the pluma Iberca no longer browns and grilled properly outside, the fried goat cheese is not cooked properly, the cheese was still cold and hard inside and when I ask the cheese to be cooked through, your staff look at me as if I were crazy, he said this is fried cheese! 😡 also this tapas was supposed to come out last, so the sweetness nicely transition to dessert. You had explained this to me before and now your staff doesn’t care, tapas just come out as whenever they are ready. What has come to the final straw is the confit artichokes, it was blend and not cooked through, we had to spit out the first two we ate and didn’t bother with the rest. The cooking with love and authenticity has sadly disappeared from Jose, this is just another tapas bar here to make money.

Desde el primero hasta el último de estos restaurantes experimentarlo como uno de ser insuperable. Memorable desde el cortés servicio individual de Rayan que recomendó una excelente opción para mi copa de vino tinto hasta nuestras opciones del menú brillante asistido por la explicación completa de los especiales de los cuales elegí las mejillas de bacalao servido en una excelente salsa de vino ligero, junto con el brócoli, pimientos rojos carbonizados y piñones en una sabrosa salsa. Mi amigo eligió las gambas fritas, la ensalada de tomates del menú especial y los pimientos patrón. El ambiente zumbaba. Fue una elección de 5 * de mi amigo que recomendó Barrafina en el Soho basado en sus experiencias previas de fabulosos almuerzos españoles.

Not our first time here, and still amazing service even when the tech was playing up,, tapas is always yummy and speedily prepared! Highly recommend for groups to share plates to get a taste of everything :)

A great place to spend an evening.

Amazing food. The ceviche, the prawns and the chicken were outstanding. Service was amazing. Grima provided us with a great service. Her recommendations were right on spot, and always smiling. Will definitely come back.

We enjoy a visit to The Port House and this was another enjoyable meal. There are a tables are small, particularly those on the right hand side of the restaurant, those on the opposite side are a touch more generous. Our food was once again delicious: Iberian ham, selection of cheeses, patatas bravas, tortilla and tempura aubergine with hummus, perfect portions to share, washed down by a delight Vino Verde. The service was good, location excellent and food delicious, what’s not to like. Highly recommended.

Lovely experience, the food was delicious, management and staff were very friendly. I love coming to this place, It has such a nice vibe and a great selection of wines by the way. I 100% recommend it, I’ll be back for sure.
