The best restaurants serving Spanish food in England

The food made me throw up several hours after eating it ..i've not been right all day today . Another dirty take out from the area. Not good at all 👎

My family and I visited this restaurant for the seafood Paella. it did not disappoint. However, the patatas bravas and lamb shank tapas dishes were very mediocre. I would only recommend the Paella.

Looks very inviting from outside; bar on the right entrance was ok but we preferred seating arrangements to the other bar to the left accessed through an arch, which does have its own front access. Having checked the menu for the overpriced tapas, we decided on just having drinks only. Had to ask for a cocktail menu, but declined at £10.50. I just had a beer from the other bar (Theakston Summit) which was well kept BUT the Sauvignon Blanc from an opened bottle in their chiller was sour. This does happen occasionally if left over from the previous day. Mentioned it to the woman behind the bar, completely off hand and zero customer service, my wife just left the drink. Observation. The sign outside states cask ales, only the one on sale, the other bar was all keg beers. Would not recommend this establishment.

Gorgeous cocktail and tapas bar... its underground and has a rounded ceiling...we fortunately arrived during happy hour and all cocktails half price and 2 bottles beer for a fiver....defo come here again and recommend others to come..staff very polite welcoming and friendly

Booked 3 weeks ago for a spe ial birthday treat. Turned up this evening to find it had shut down... They couldn't even bothered to have told us....

Ordered takeaway from here tonight. Three tapas dishes and a starter. Food was delivered before estimated time, driver was incredibly friendly and food was impeccable. Thank you!

A machine that wishes it were an elite restaurant. They want to get as many people as possible to feel the experience, but in the shuffle, they forget to check on empty glasses, uncleared plates, or bills not yet paid. The service is enthusiastic, but management seems to expect something impossible of its frontline staff. Cheerfulness cannot make up for lake of capacity

Booked 4 weeks in advance, v busy on the night, usual menu, we ate a selection of meat, fish and potato dishes of which the calamari was the best, large beer selection, Overall very good

Enjoyed an extremely tasty lunch here today and enjoyed every mouthful. The tapas choice was extensive even for vegetarians and everything had a depth of flavour and texture that complimented the other dishes wonderfully. I really liked the friendly staff and casual relaxed atmosphere. The family members who took us here are regular visitors and I can certainly see why - the food was even better than I’d imagined it from their description prior to us visiting. Gracias!

We’ve been coming here as a meet up spot with friends for years now. We had booked weeks in advance. We arrived early and were seating temporarily at a table as we were early & our table wasn’t ready. We couldn’t stay at this particular table as they were expecting a large group in. We waited for at least 10 mins before anyone asked us what we’d like to drink. Sadly what we ordered wasn’t readily available so we ordered other drinks only to be told most of these weren’t available either, due to a large party the night before. Eventually the drinks arrived after asking for them. The original order of drinks arrived to at no cost. We had to ask for menus to order food. In the interim we asked where our table was going to be ? - next to the piano playing. Whilst we love the music it’s a tad too much to talk over the music. We then sat at an alternative table. We noticed a lot of staff were on their phones. The bar was piled up with dirty dishes which clearly there wasn’t the staff cleaning these. Our lunches arrived which were all great. Followed by a lovely desert. We thoroughly enjoyed the food. Standard was just as we were expecting from this establishment having ate here on numerous occasions in the past. We’ve been coming here for years but the whole place now was lacking in any kind of management and ran’ by very young and inexperienced people. We won’t be rushing back.
