The best restaurants serving Spanish food in England

I BOOKED ONLINE - GOT THERE AND WERE TOLD IT HAD SHUT DOWN. CANNOT SAY ANYMORE OTHER THAN THE LACK OF REVIEWS SHOULD HAVE ALERTED ME TO A PROBLEM

Truly the WORST dining experience I've ever had. Most of the positive reviews are old, as it used to be slightly better previously but has significantly declined. The food was tasteless, but the main issue is the appalling service. From start to finish, the manager was rude and patronizing. He began by trying to convince us that we didn't have a reservation. Even after showing him the reservation, he insisted we made a mistake and booked for the wrong day. This continued, despite us showing him the reservation with the correct date on my phone. I had to wait an hour and a half, and ask the staff 4-5 times just to get 1 drink as they kept forgetting and ignoring me , only to get the wrong one after all that. I drank water the entire evening. No apologies were offered. They forgot to bring out a couple of things we ordered, but at that point, we didn't bother mentioning it as it would have been too much hassle and more bad attitude from the staff. I could honestly continue detailing how bad it was. Nobody asked us how our meal was, nobody checked if we needed anything, we had to fight for waiters attention when it was just moderately busy. This is the worst restaurant I've been to GLOBALLY.

Ahora se llama El Toro Tapas. Pedimos el almuerzo especial, paella. Se veía y sabía increíble. Gran valor por su dinero y dos copas gratis de sangría. Comida maravillosa 10/10

Lovely place to feel the south american atmosphere! It's not only frequented by Colombians. The whole south american community can be seen around!! Large option of food and beverage!;

I’m 19 years old and went in with friends, the blonde girl behind the bar was lovely but the older lady with the glasses was very rude glaring at us, didn’t greet us and told us that we weren’t allowed to drink in there because we weren’t 21? Which i don’t believe is in the policy at all and she didn’t even say sorry about that just watched us walk out! Very rude and felt very uncomfortable.

This is like having a tiny piece of Spain in London . Excellent , albeit rather small range of tapas. Churros and hot chocolate is wonderful too. However- Either their pricing or their portion size is very wrong?!

Una desgracia para la plaza Battersea. Un miembro del personal procedió a sacar una vieja guitarra acústica afuera para aplastar frente a la gente. Desafortunadamente, no es una estrella de rock torturada, sino otro niño rico que dirige un bar de cócteles por debajo de la media en la moneda de diez centavos de mamá y papá. Por favor, abandone el área.

Deliciosa casa especial de hamburguesa "Spanglish", comer con papas fritas, papas fritas halloumi y croquetas. Es una versión interesante de la comida española / inglesa y muy buena también. Fantástico valor.

Contrariamente a la otra crítica, esto NO es un café dirigido por una familia; está dirigido por voluntarios de la Iglesia de Todos los Santos, al otro lado de la plaza. Su cocina se está ampliando próximamente (en septiembre de 2024 ). Ofrece comida caliente + fría + aperitivos + bebidas – pero hasta ahora no ofrece gluten - gratis, etc; Quizás lo haga cuando la cocina se amplíe. Hay música en vivo los viernes por la noche 7 - 9 pm (desenchufado) y muchas cosas pasando allí toda la semana.

This place is operated by the same owners as Drake's Tabanco, which was on this site before Tapas 44. I haven't visited Tapas 44 but I thought the following might be relevant to potential customers: I was one of many who got food poisoning at Drake's Tabanco and the owners responded to our case extremely inadequately and unfriendly. I have never been treated in such a way in these kind of situations. We made sure to alert potential customers on tripadvisor (feel free to visit the old Drake's Tabanco review page on TA for more information) and I assume that was one of the reasons why they now renamed the restaurant. Be aware!

Embora não experimentando a especialidade da casa ( tapas) a escolha foi satisfatória : uma espécie de file de peixe empanado com molho picante ( não me lembro o nome do prato ) e, para adoçar o paladar, um profiterolli maravilhoso ( tinha acabado de ser colocado na vitrina dos doces ), tudo acompanhado de cerveja bem gelada ( ao contrário da cerveja na temperatura ambiente como se vê em Londres ). O ambiente é agradável e fomos servidos por uma garçonete super eficiente que ajudou na interpretação do cardápio pois, sendo de origem espanhola , falava português. Amigos que residem em Londres informaram que o local é muito frequentado por admiradores da culinária espanhola ( especialmente tapas)

no puedes dejar de ir!!! vale la pena probarlo y pasar un buen rato con tus amigos o con la familia !

Gran lugar para una pizza. Hacen su Pizza, con una buena base de masa agria delgada. Excelente variedad de coberturas para elegir. El personal es muy agradable y eficiente. Tiempo de espera para Pizza es de alrededor de 10 a 15 minutos. Recomiendo este restaurante Pizza si es que están buscando.
