The best restaurants serving Spanish food in England

my Spanish friends took us there to try authentic Spanish tapas and beer. The interior of the place make an impression, but moreover is so peaceful and feels cosy and comfortable. Food is freshly made, full of flavour, colourful and dishes represent different parts of Spain. Great selection but not sure if worth the money, quite pricy but hey - its central London! However, I would love to go back :)

Reservamos una mesa aquí en domingo 30 de agosto y me sorprendió al encontrar qué tan pocos gente allí era comedor. Sin embargo, recibimos una bienvenida muy cálida de John, el gerente (que es que nos transferían Milton Keynes) y la comida y el servicio eran excelentes. Estábamos pagando con Tesco Fichas (haciendo Londres a lo barato) - lo que a menudo encuentras raro, pero como en cualquier otro lado de Londres, están son aceptadas como moneda y sin ningún ápice de vergüenza. Lo recomendaría Ortega Smithfield por su bienvenida, buen servicio y comida fantástica.

I am such a fan of the Pizzaro restaurants and the great thing about this spot is you can get a table late notice!! The food is absolutely delicious, a quirky twist on traditional Spanish dishes. The plates are purposefully constructed and the flavours complement eachother so well. They are so simple but divine. I can’t recommend the croquetas enough!! If you are looking for a trusted spot on the foodie strip that is Bermondsey street, this is the perfect option.

The taste is really too average. How about eating 100 pounds of something that costs 30 pounds? ? In addition to food and environmental services...

Decent thai food but I expected a bit more to be honest. We ordered fried prawns for starters but I found the batter to be a bit too bland. I think the sweet chilli sauce served was the supermarket one :(. Pad thai were a bit better but still lacked a punch which it usually has and the stir fried chicken was simply boiled chicken tossed in with a few veggies. Service was 5 star no doubt but the food could've been better for sure. PS: A good indicator of a great thai place is how many thais are actually dining in there and at the time we went there were none!

Our first visit! The staff are amazingly good and spent time to explain the menu. It is unusual to get service of this quality. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Highly recommend! Naga sauce was great, Mixed stir fry and the funky burger was excellent.

Great spot for a lunchtime session. I'll definitely be back. Great beer and the food isn't bad either.

Yesterday, I enjoyed a beautiful evening. The staff was very good and attentive, including Greg, the GM.

Visited few times over the 2019!Extremely tasty fresh and varied food!staff friendly and welcoming! Very expensive tho so it's a shame not to be able to visit it more often

Update, I recently attended the Venture in and I was very impressed with the new menu. Great variety to choose from. We had the Biltong chips and Bunny chow. They were both very well presented and tasted amazing. Will be going back to try the ribs soon. Price was reasonable as well. Service was friendly and welcoming. See you again soon.

Amazing food very impressed, I like tapas you can get few dishes to try and won’t be too full
