Having read some good reviews we headed off to find Bombay Spice having been disappointed by a curry on Brick Lane on a previous trip to London When we arrived the man next door tried to entice us into his restaurant but we would not be dissuaded from our original choice.. Oh boy am I so glad we chose Bombay Spice. The curry was amongst the best I have ever tasted. The chef clearly knows his job and the sauces were full of flavour. The rice was also the best I have ever had. Forget Brick Lane and make Bombay Spice your number one destination for a curry in London.

Purchased a voucher from living social. Manager said they only put it on Groupon so after showing the manager the social living website he decided to let us use the voucher. It was humiliation to say the none. Asked if we could taste the wine as we did not what to have rose or white. He said he doesn't do wine tasting. So we opptid for rose. The starter was 4 out of 10. The main was the same. We asked for 2 poppadoms and dips. They came and was fine. We never asked the dessert as we wanted to get out of the resturant. They gave us the bill for the poppadoms and charged us for the poppadoms which was fine and then charged us £3 for the chutney. I would score them 4 out of 10 as the waiter was lovey. Will not be returning

We had our dinner last night at this restaurant and we all got sick with food poisoning. After leaving the restaurant we didn’t feel good eating there and as soon as we arrived home we all started throwing up and I also had diarrhoea. The whole night me and my husband threw up and had no sleep. We are visitors and just went to this restaurant looking at the reviews. Be careful people who don’t know this place. You don’t want to get sick while travelling. Response back to owners: We were there last night, family of three. You also showed us picture that A R Rehman visited your restaurant and you were open since 1961. Why would we lie. We had to go chemist first thing this morning to get some relief so that we can enjoy our trip. Our son is still throwing up. You are lying that you didn’t had Indian customers. Please check you CCTV footage between 6:30-8 pm. We had paid £33.85 for our food. Check you bank statement. We also asked for receipt and your staff member said we don’t print the receipts just email and hence why we didn’t get the receipt. When we came out of restaurant, gentleman asked how was the the food we did say it was good but not great and also mentioned our son didn’t like the food at all. Please be kind to your customers, instead of apologetic for what happened to us, you started blaming us for fake reviews, that not professional.

Randomly find this one bt got great Indian style vegetarian food and taste is really nice. Staff is helpful and too friendly.

If you wish to have vegetarian style butter chicken or vegetarian style chicken tikka masala, come to Bombay spice, they do paneer tikka masala and paneer with butter sauce (same as butter chicken without the chicken but paneer instead).

Very good food! I live in Marylebone and tried all Indian restaurants, must say that this is by far the best. Would recommend eating spicy food accompanied by a large Kingfisher. Very good, very fresh.

Hello! So we celebrated my aunt's 70th birthday at this restaurant and it was so good! The food was fantastic and the staff as well as them really made this day very special! The staff really went the extra mile so to speak, really think you should pay a visit if you are in London. There's even an Instagram-friendly glitter wall. It was also one of the few restaurants that had quiet background music so that you could easily talk to each other. Really recommend a visit!

Absolutely delicious food! The coconut rice in particular was phenomenal- so coconutty! The servers Shabz and Masum was really lovely!

Do not believe the reviews. Food was lackluster. Portions were small. We ordered two different kinds of "lamb chops" and were given shoulder which was all bone. Very deceptive.
