First time I tried Indian food, absolutely fire !!!

Wonderful and friendly service, and a homey space. Food came out fast and was presented well. My only request would be a little more flavor in some of the mild dishes, felt that it was lacking and occasionally too sweet. Overall, would come back but would love to see that improvement!

Beware when ordering! When ordering rice, they will try and persuade you to try the saffron rice, which, is not on the menu at all, and they charge £9.50 for a very small bowl of the rice. Every table that orders, the waiter is persistent you try saffron, but that’s how they get you. Highly highly expensive to eat there. The food is great, but worth maybe half of what you end up paying. As you can see, saffron rice is not on the menu, but is £9.50!

Raj hosted us extremely well. The food was high quality and well priced. The vindaloo was spicy, but flavourful and the restaurant had a great ambiance.

Good food for a good price, very well situated and helpful staff

This place is a real disappointment. The positive Google reviews are all fake. The waiter was very rude to us. The cheese naan are not real cheese naan since they are made with gruyere and are almost burnt, the butter chicken has a strange taste which suggests that the chicken is spoiled and makes the dish atrocious, and the waiter does not seem to want we took tap water since he served us very lukewarm water. Downstairs, to go to the toilet, we noticed that there was a smell of cigarettes, and that the kitchen staircase was very dirty. In addition, a door leading to the outside is permanently open, which brings in a draft. Instead, rely on the storefront which is more revealing than Google reviews. To flee!

The staff was very rude . I called for booking table but received a very rude response about minimum order. While I accepted the minimum order criteria and asked for reservation, the person on the phone just disconnected with out even confirming the table assuming. I had called again to get table booked. The real bad experience was after we reaching there . We wanted to order some starters but the waiter was insisting that we order minimum 6 main course as per their hotel rules for 6 people. Even though I confirmed him that I will order 6 main course and to take starters first, he didn’t accept that while asking for main course orders to be placed . The food quality was good but the staff was rude in dealing with customers. We spent £135 for 6 people which is way ahead of his minimum order but the peace of mind was ost in interacting with such uncourteous staff who doesn’t care for customer rather meeting their target. They assume that Indians coming to restaurant would not spend . This is like running an Indian restaurant where they don’t want our own people to come . Avoid going there and especially the chief waiter / in- charge was the rudest person I have ever met

Tasty Indian food. The staff were nice and friendly. Their suggestions are honest, and if you have something in your mind, just go with it. Try the mix starter and the lamb dishes and eat it with white rice. It is really filling. Price is on average. 3 rice + 1 lamb dish + 1 chicken butter + 1 starter + 1 Nan bread + 5 water for around £60

I genuinely cannot understand how this restaurant has a 4+ star rating. Having traveled to many countries, I can confidently say this is one of the worst Indian restaurants I’ve experienced. Here are the main issues that I encountered: 1. Rude Staff Behavior: One of the staff members, an older gentleman, insisted that we “must” order a minimum of two main curries for two people. When I explained that one of us wasn’t very hungry and only wanted a starter, he rudely responded that the starter portions were too small and we had to order at least two main courses. He even suggested taking it as a takeaway if we couldn’t finish it. While I completely understand the concept of a minimum order policy (e.g., £15 per table), it should be up to the customer to choose what to eat once the minimum is met. When I pointed this out, the staff unapologetically remarked that at this restaurant, they decide what the customer eats. 2. Cramped Space: The restaurant is very small and poorly ventilated, which left us sweating inside, even during the winter. 3. Poor Quality and Overpriced Food: The food was mediocre at best, especially considering the price. The portions were also disappointingly small for what we paid.
