Very good restaurent. One of the best restaurants I have ever been to in London. It was worth it.

If only there was an option to give zero stars, I would have done it for this restaurant! Hands down the worst restaurant in London, or maybe the whole of England. My husband and I went here for a dinner date but it turned out to be our worst experience in a restaurant. We ordered their starters platter, Thali which had 4 gravies and Afghan chicken, and I’m not even kidding, all the gravies were the exact SAME color and taste. They had Afghan chicken in RED color! Imagine!! Anyone who knows how to make it would know that Afghan chicken gravy is white with cream. The vegetable curry had a funny taste and I am sure it was stale. The chicken was rubbery and all of the food was practically inedible. The vibe in the restaurant was so dead, and I noticed one of the guys outside the restaurant trying to lure people in. As soon as I entered the restaurant, I wanted to leave. Only stayed there because my husband felt that it would be impolite to do so and as a result we ended up paying £80 for the food we didn’t even eat. I noticed the waiters trying to be over friendly with people just to get some good reviews. He even tried doing it with us by asking us where we are from but he eventually realised that we were not happy with food and didn’t come to our table again. I wish we had taken some pictures of the food, but we were so angry and disappointed, we just wanted to leave from there. All I can say is, if you even cross past this restaurant don’t make the mistake of going in. I don’t wish even my worst enemy to eat at this restaurant!!! PLEASE CLOSE DOWN, YOU ARE MAKING PEOPLE SICK AND RUINING THE NAME OF INDIAN FOOD!!!

Halim was amazing!!! It was our first time trying Indian food and his recommendations were the perfect way to start our honeymoon! Will definitely be back soon!

If you're an Indian looking for authentic Indian food then you're going to be disappointed. Very below average food and the servers were sneaking bites from their food in front of us. Even the naan from Tesco is better than what we got served. The door man Nayem Rahman was on his phone half the time. PS most of their reviews are fake. You can clearly tell. Waste of time and money!

Rahman ,our server was extremely helpful and nice. The food was delicious and spicy. My favorite meal was Chana masala.

We considered ourselves lucky enough to be seated in this restaurant situated in the very heart of London, after a day's Christmas shopping. Being so perfectly placed, we had high expectations of the delights within. Sadly, our expectations were not met. The staff were friendly and efficient enough, and our welcome was warm. The food however, was average at best. My king prawn vindaloo (one of the more expensive dishes) wasn't particularly spicy and the sauce was insipid, more like prawns in tomato soup! The menu is standard fare and fairly limited. The usual curry house dishes and 'chef's specialities', with nothing to make the restaurant stand out from any other you've been in. To be fair, it wasn't bad. It just wasn't particularly good. And it certainly wasn't outstanding or memorable. There's nothing really here to recommend. The prices were expensive. Something you sort of expect in London, considering how high business rates are likely to be. But I didn't feel, even with this consideration, we really got value for money, since the quality of the food was wanting. The worst of the evening came with the bill, though. A 12½% service charge added automatically. This practice should be illegal. Gratuities should be discretionary and optional, not automatically assumed. And it's embarrassing to ask to have it removed. All in all, I wouldn't eat here again and I wouldn't recommend it to others. I've had better, cheaper and more enjoyable experiences elsewhere.
