Worst meal had in London in a while. Food was dreadful - plastic tasting sausages and badly fried greasy schnitzel. Had a very ‘fast food’ feel. Nice atmosphere but the food was a big let down. Will not be returning specially since there are so many restaurants around there to choose from.

We want for dinner before getting train home. I’d heard a lot about the restaurant so was keen to try. The building was very interesting and service good. However as a table for 2 we were seated very close to others and it was impossible to not hear others conversations and vice versa. We shared herring for a starter which was tasty. I wanted something german as I that was the theme of the restaurant so picked vegan currywurst which was very underwhelming, a vegan sausage in tomato sauce and very ordinary chips. It felt more like a kids meal in both presentation and taste. My partner orders the chicken and side of potato salad which he enjoyed. We can now tick this off our London restaurants but will definitely try a different place on our next London trip.

A really great evening meal, ambiance and service . The place is just amazing, the staff are friendly & efficient from the moment you arrive. The food is delicious, the choices are great, great value for the cost, however some may think the wine may a be a pricey , but I really loved it , thank you Stuti , our waitress , for helping me choose . She was lovely 👍 we'll definitely be back with friends 👍🍸

Second time I'm visiting with my extended family and it's a big difference from our first time. I can say for sure that the service has declined significantly, from very good to poor service. Don't know where is the problem. Food very good and very high prices as well.

GG is somewhere I've wanted to try for a while. However, after a very ordinary and small Wienerschnitzel for £30, I don't think I will be hurrying back.

We had a disappointing lunch which luckily was only improved by the tasty puddings. Hence the one star! A drink we ordered never arrived. The Marie Rose cocktail was simply shredded lettuce, & prawns in sauce. No paprika or presentation. No lemon. No bread & butter. Very basic for the price. Equally the smoked salmon with rosti & horseradish cream was one slice of salmon, a thimble sized horseradish cream, no lemon, no bread & butter. We ordered a main course sized superfood salad. A pile of different lettuces arrived. Having started the salad & searching for the quoted ingredients our waitress called the manager. She looked at the lettuce & said ' Yes, some ingredients are missing' She then took this away & a completely different looking salad arrived. Although now correct, it was bland & we had to ask for dressing which didn't make much difference. The former dishes were overpriced & minimal & we would have expected some kind of gesture/apology re the mistakes.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is really nice and you can see and feel the rich history of the place BUT as a restaurant you would expect the food to be testy which unfortunately wasn’t the case here, each part of the meal was nice but they were just not testing good together. Service was also extremely slow, I appreciate it’s a big place and it was almost full but the management should take that into consideration. Overall it was ok experience but won’t be coming back.

Visited on a busy, bustling Wednesday afternoon. Glad we made a reservation in advance, as every table was taken. Really loved our sausages, washed down with delicious, fruity Bellini's. Unfortunately, the onions weren't crispy & the food went cold very quickly. Once the restaurant emptied out, the temperature in the restaurant really plummeted. We finished our meal with an unforgettable apfelstrudel mit vanillesause. Didn't stick around too much longer after that as we were so cold. Dress warmly if you're dining in winter.

The restaurant atmosphere was lovely, but I had an absolutely horrible experience. My fiancée has coeliac disease and made it clear when ordering. We ensured they knew cross contamination was not ok for her. The manager then confirmed the Butcher’s Plate would be gluten-free (except for one course which was brought on the side and I completely avoided). However, after eating, I experienced severe symptoms that lasted for hours… It’s clear the food contained gluten, not just cross-contamination. The place is pricey so you expect them to take your autoimmune system seriously, especially when the manager reassures you that it is. I do not recommend the restaurant for any coeliacs, but if you go, please avoid the Butchers Plate all cost. 100% not safe for coeliacs! I do not want anyone to feel as bad as I did after visiting this restaurant. Furthermore, the service was also very slow and inattentive. There are a lot better restaurants out there for this price range where you will get better food and service.

I was so disappointed and annoyed as was served alcoholic beer with my dinner when I had specifically asked the server for non-alcoholic beer. She had told me there was only one brand and I had even checked when it was brought to the table and was reassured that it was non-alcoholic. I naturally ordered some more and only realised when it was too late that I had been given alcohol - thankfully I was not driving that night. I left a message the next day for the manager to call me, but a week later I have still not been contacted. Beware what you order if you don't intend to have alcohol.

Perfect in every way if you want a pricey German street food experience. Concept may not be for everyone but absolutely spot on in every way and the service was a delight.

My fiancée is German and we both live in Germany. Wanted to have German food in the 24th of December because that’s when we celebrate Christmas. It was lovely food, classy decor and great drinks. Perfect

It’s an ok place to stop before your connecting train. The menu is full of processed food, surprisingly not that flavourful though. A fellow diner almost broke his knife on a ham knuckle. I wondered no one asked if it was ok, he’d given up after 30 mins. So it’s fine, but there are just better places, very close

Food very good and genuinely German. However service was very slow. We were at our table at 7.15 but had to leave after just two courses at 8.45. Having said that good value for money.

We've been a few times and the food is always delicious. Last night our server Jojo corrected a mistake in service in just the right way - making sure I got the right food when a mistake was made and comping it for inconvenience. Really appreciated

Good location for meeting as it is in Kings Cross at the epicentre of several Tube lines, Kings Cross Station, St Pancras where the Eurostar pulls in. Food is German/Austrian - sauerkraut, sausages, beer. Service was good, unobtrusive. It was a pleasure to spend a Saturday afternoon there.

This spot is great. It's a pleasant and historic venue, fight across the street from King Cross Station, so quite convenient. The food was terrific; indeed, we enjoyed better German cuisine than we generally had in Germany! Excellent service, too! I hope to return every tme we're in London.

A confusing place to visit for food in the evening. Front of house maintaining a very formal restaurant approach while chaos ensued in the restaurant behind them. We were told there would be an hours wait for a table but could get a drink at the bar. we noticed two empty tables that weren't set, so sat at one of these instead, within fifteen minutes we were served by a waiter and had ordered drinks and food. From the table (situated behind the front desk) I enjoyed watching the mayhem continue. I observed one guy sat at a table for well over an hour nursing a single cup of coffee throughout, with his laptop open the whole time. (free wi-fi perhaps?) there were other people just having drinks while customers were queueing for a table. I'm not sure if this place is a bar, restaurant, coffee shop or waiting room for the train station opposite.

The food here is simply cooked but very authentic. We had the schnitzel which was cooked to perfection accompanied with an excellent German pinot noir. The service staff were excellent. We found the prices quite high for non fine dining but this is the case in most places right now.

Great place and atmosphere. The building and inside is stunning and very tastefully decorated. Although it is a big space it feels intimate and nice. Food was very tasty and staff was friendly and helpful.

We had to wait at least 30 minutes for someone to see us as we were told our waiter had left. When finally somebody came to give us the menus again, she said she couldn’t give us any food yet as she was too busy and could only give us drinks dreadful service we we like the food quite a bit here but not worth our time.

Very disappointing experience. I booked it for a birthday celebration and noted as such on the reservation. I also wrote in the reservation note that I planned on having the goose set menu and if it is not available, please let me know so I can cancel the reservation. When I arrived, I was sat in a crappy corner of the restaurant despite plenty of empty tables around. I was then told the set menu was not available. Obviously I was irritated. Trains were having issues that morning and it took a lot longer than originally planned to travel to the restaurant. They did call over the manager (which I originally declined since there was nothing they could do. But they called him over anyway.) He then proceeded to make the matter worse by first admitting that they had a supplier issue that week so they didn't have it on the menu for the week. Then repeatedly said "Oh, they didn't tell you? Someone should've called you." Which obviously only made me more irritated. Would I be there if someone had called? Obviously not. It really ruined a good chunk of my day since I could've booked elsewhere to have a proper celebration. All they had to do was one phone call or an email instead of wasting two hours of my time and resulted me not being able to celebrate the occasion properly. Clearly no one bothered to read any reservation notes.

I do like the German Gymnasium having been a few times now. On this last visit I was disappointed that the goose set menu wasn't available despite me contacting them in advance to check if it would be, and being told yes it is. Ah well, there are plenty of other options on the menu.

Very busy and ok food. Not worth the price.

Disappointing experience and health problems. Unfortunately my experience at this restaurant was very negative. I went to this restaurant for dinner and ordered a chicken cutlet, but upon first tasting I realized that the chicken was raw inside. In the morning I had diarrhea, vomiting and high fever. It was a very unpleasant experience that forced me to give up my holidays. I expect a restaurant to ensure minimum food safety standards. It is unacceptable to serve raw food, especially chicken, which can cause serious health problems. I will never return and advise others to be careful.

Food was great, good atmosphere, plus our server Fabio was fantastic.

Had an extremely negative experience at German Gymnasium for New Year’s Eve. Coming from New York on our honeymoon, my husband and I picked a table here specifically because of the NYE offering listed on the website: “Book a table on our first floor mezzanine and enjoy our three course tasting menu for £98. Keep the table all night with views of the band.” We were seated shortly after 7, but by 7:45 saw a table next to us realize they would be asked to leave before midnight. For the rest of our meal, we were distracted by watching staff argue with table after table, forcing them to leave the spots they had paid for. Eventually, staff came to ask my husband and I to leave, offering to move us to a communal table away from the main space/band, where they were funneling all their angry guests. We declined this offer and left to find a different establishment to spend our New Year. Needless to say, if we had known we would pay 98 pounds per person for incredibly mediocre food and service, to spend our dinner observing argument and argument, and to be forced to vacate the table we paid for, we would have stayed far away.

A fairly frosty welcome was followed by disinterested service and topped off with poor quality food. We booked for Sunday brunch and were old to hurry up and order initially. The service after was functional but soulless. Being located right by KX station it is bound to be busy given it is an impressive building and the atmosphere inside is certainly pleasant, the food however is not. The scrambled eggs and smoked salmon were fine but my "German" breakfast looked like it was sourced from a local corner shop, cheap sliced ham and cheese accompanied by bog standard white sliced bread toast. Very uninspiring! I'd say the food outlets in KX station itself were better

German Gymnasium is a good looking spot to have dinner. It has a luxury view and has nice furniture. The food was okey. For someone who is traveling a lot to germany and austria I can say the food is okey. The German Gymnasium has a good assortiment of wine. The service however was poor for a restaurant that pretends to be a top restaurant. One of our first course meals was forgotten, the waiter didn’t ask for a dessert and we had to ask for another drink instead of being asked. They charged 13,5% additional service fee over the bill which wasn’t in proportion for the delivered service. It’s an okey spot to have dinner, but you can find better spots with the same atmosphere and luxury furniture.

We took good friends from Turkey here (with Islamic food limitations). The service was swift and impeccable and our friends were delighted at the experience. The food, not cheap and cheerful, was still good value and the wine (red and by our waiter's recommendation) excellent. Highly recommended.

Probably one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had (and I have eaten out a lot!). The service was atrociously slow. I had to remind the server several times to bring me my stuff. By the time they brought it, I had already finished my main. On top of that, my food was as tough as leather and so greasy. Reading other reviews, I see many other people over a long time saying the same comments. Terrible, slow service. Bad quality tough meat. There was a review like mine be posted 9 years ago! It seems like a never-changing pattern. When the restaurant responds to these bad reviews, they seem to me to say they will talk to the staff, or work to improve things. But again, these complaints repeat and repeat, which makes it sound like nothing's changed. The restaurant seems to rarely ask for the customers (aka us) to further contact them to work on helping the situation – no, it's always 'we will try to do better.' But from what I can see, it looks like it's getting worse? (And that's when they even reply at all.) They will say you should have said something to the waiter...how do we do that when the waiter is nowhere to be seen? Also, isn't that passing on the blame to us, the customers? Surely, the food & service should be good enough in the first place, so that's not needed? Please, please avoid. I am serious when I say that Pret has better service & food.

Wonderful lunch here! Fantastic German cuisine perfectly cooked. Great selection of beers too, obviously! It's very popular so booking is recommended. Perfect venue for meeting friends and family in London.

Nice venue but very disappointed by the food. The Kartoffelsuppe (Potato soup) was ok. The Entenbraten (quarter of a duck) was unpleasant to eat, dry and unseasoned. Nobody came to check if the food was ok. The waiter just said “I am sorry for that” and seemed not bothered.

They don't seem to know what curry ketchup is. Both times I asked I was given tomato ketchup so I gave up. Good draught beers. Service was lacking especially considering I was seated at the bar.

Beautiful Restaurant next to King's Cross, a little high in price but good food, although they take a while to serve.

Disappointing Service Despite Nice Food and Atmosphere The food was nice, and the atmosphere was pleasant, especially with the beautiful Christmas tree, but the service was incredibly poor. We waited a long time for our orders and had to ask multiple times for the same things. Our waiter seemed unhappy and almost threw the dishes at us. To make matters worse, our bill included items we never received or ordered: sparkling water and a potato salad. After I paid and realized the mistake, I brought it up with the waiter, but instead of a formal apology, he insisted it was my fault for not checking the bill before paying. After some back-and-forth, he issued a refund, but it was less than the overcharged amount. At that point, I decided not to pursue it further. My advice: double-check your bill before paying. While the ambiance is nice, the poor service overshadowed the experience.

Came here on Boxing Day. It was beautiful but sadly that's where the nice things ended. The duck was meh at best, they made a mistake with one of the dishes (allergy related - we got an extra main for free, because they made yet another mistake with the replacement), service was very slow (both before and after we ordered), and in general, it felt like only the new staff was on shift. It was also very expensive (89£ for 2 people, shared one starter, two mains, two drinks, no dessert).

Very descent German style restaurant.

We had a really enjoyable dining experience here. The ambience and food were superb, one of the best restaurants I've been to in a long time. Visiting in December was a good decision as the place was so festiveley decorated with an amazing Christmas Tree adorning the center of the Restaurant. Being German myself, I was so pleased to have an authentic taste of my homeland in the centre of London. The menu had an excellent selection of German and quite a few Austrian dishes as well. The service was very professional. Although we didn't have the Christmas set menu, the table next to us did, and it looked very authentic and pretty spectacular. We will definitely be back in the new year and also have a Christmas dinner there next year. This place is a real treat and must visit if you're in the local area.

Maense was a good and lovely waitress

A favourite eatery when travelling to London. A broad, meat-focussed menu and always of good quality. Reasonably priced for the location and quality. Always busy, so worth booking.

Really appreciate all the staff for their christmas service and the food was really great. However, for the price of their christmas meal (£125pp), we did expect better service. No one came to introduce the menu or order water/drinks for a good amount of time despite us being one of the few tables there earlier tonight. We poured all the water and three bottles of wine ourselves. Small note, our guests said merry christmas to the staff before they did, so it didn’t give off the christmas ambiance at all. Also had a tiny speaker next to our table playing really soft and raspy everyday-music. So yes, unimpressed because of the price and the fact that the staff were simply doing their job but nothing much beyond. But was a good night, hope the staff had a restful evening after.

Food was good, but service was not. Used cutlery was moved from the finished plates straight onto the desk and we were expected to keep using them for the next dish. No Christmas cracker for our table because they apparently took on too many walk-ins and ran out of crackers for reserved tables. And waiting staff asked us if we were ready for the bill when we were still waiting for the last course. Expected a bit more organisation for a Christmas dinner that cost £125pp.

Mansi made sure we had a lovely lunch. She was very nice, and was a professional server.

Especially an extra attention to our waitress Mansi , who handled our group of 11 persons with such a great smile and dedication during our last day in London. I would like to recommend everyone to visit German Gymnasium and give our regards to Mansi , because she is absolutely brilliant and a business card for the company

We were fascinated to hear about this historic location. Disappointed that it didn't sell the idea of a German gymnasium in the décor. Disappointed in the 13.5% service charge. London I guess... The food was OK but not so special to warrant a return.

Lunch for 2 at the German Gymnasium in Kings Cross. The reason for the 4stars is that we’d made our reservations (a fortnight ago) specifically for the Ringsaal menu to try the festive “Best of Goose” but were sadly disappointed to find that the goose was out of stock! Rotten luck…there also appeared to be some technical problem in the kitchen on the 1st floor so the Ringsaal menu was not available for 20mins (as we sat). We ordered from the grand cafe menu. I got a 330ml bottle of Warsteiner Pilsner. My partner ordered the Schinkenknacker (a pair of smoked sausages with mash potatoes) and I got the Leberkase burger (w/ á fried egg) and a side of the warm potato salad. The food was pretty good but the disappointment of “no goose” really interfered with our experience! We’ll have to wait until November ‘25! For dessert we shared the Christstollen (w/ vanilla sauce) which was excellent. Our total bill for 2 was just under £67. See you next year for the festive goose…fingers crossed!

I had the pleasure of dining at German gymnasium today, and it was an absolutely delightful experience from the moment I walked in. The festive ambiance is truly enchanting, with a stunningly decorated Christmas tree that immediately sets the holiday mood. The entire restaurant was lively and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a festive meal. Amidst the busy and bubbly atmosphere, our waiter, (Toheeb) stood out for his exceptional service. He was professional and incredibly efficient, even with the hustle and bustle around. His warm welcome and attention to detail made the dining experience unforgettable. I highly recommend.

Very beautiful place, chic yet relaxed atmosphere. The service is quite expeditious but remains correct. Real downside, the price considering the very ordinary quality. We were at the end of the trip with a reasonable budget, I ate a sausage with sauerkraut puree, good but nothing more, the same for the garnish. A rather disappointing dessert, as well as a glass of wine. 65 euros. It wouldn't have bothered me for very good quality, but here we are more in an average brewery, therefore expensive.

Not my first time visiting food was nice very packed on both floors. Didn't appreciate being told on numerous times that our table was booked at a certain time for other customers repeatedly felt very rushed and hovered over! But overall ok experience. Its a get people in get people out kind of restaurant. I got a burger chips and 2 small oranges juices for £30

A great night out with friends with an interesting menu

Great buzzy place. Different seating areas for singles, party people or just quick zoom in and then out. Very classy.

The food was ok. The dessert had a hard crust and was a bit off - my husband ended up with food poisoning before we reached home. The staff seemed a bit racist. The waiter was rude and made visible judgements with orders. We were offered a table at the entrance and we politely requested we can wait for another table as we were a group of 4. We were then asked to wait at the bar - was absolutely silent until we had to stop them and ask for the drinks menu. Completely ignored until we had to speak to the staff again for the table. Not sure if its deliberate or simply the way it is. The restrooms were stinking Price is a personal choice but the whole thing put together - absolutely not worth it!

None of the 7 dishes we had was very authentic or very good. The waiter assigned to our table brought us the wrong beers and then when we told him he proceeded to bring us other beers which were also not what we ordered. Not worth the money. The burger was badly burned (including the bun), the Schnitzel was bone dry, the White sausages not salted, the Nuremberg sausages tasted like old fat, the Apfelstrudel was sour. The Schweinshaxe was okay and the Aubergine Schnitzel was okay, but neither worth the high expense.

I feel like the food has decreased in quality since the last time we went as a group two years ago. The service has also decreased in quality and we were treated as an inconvenience instead of valued paying customers. However the Christmas vibe of the restaurant is still beautiful. Shame everything else has decreased. You might have a better experience if you go in a smaller group

The food and the restaurant is good. However when I mentioned that I booked via “The Fork” app, they did not find my booking…. I also showed the email confirmation. They still did not find it. Finally they told me to take a seat, so it was ok - not a good start. At the bill, they automatically charge 13.5% service charge (I would have preferred to be asked the percentage)…. But it is still ok. However I also noticed a price difference between the menu vs the receipt. Specifically the “Konig Ludwig Weiss Beer” was £7.5 on the menu, and was £8 on the receipt (I have a photo about both! So not a coincidence). Also I have seen in the receipt: “a discretionary £1 has been added to your bill to support StreetSmart’s campaign helping homeless…..” - nobody asked me about this either…. The beer price difference also an interesting thing….

A place of 2 halves - one is the 'cheap seats' with the traditional German fair; one slightly up market German themed. I've been to both sections and enjoyed for what they were. There was a nice buzz about the place early December...but the service was slow and things were missed...but in their defence, they had a very full house!

Friendly staff with excellent food and service 👌

The goose was hard and tough. The toilets were disgusting. The service was patchy because the lovely waitress simply had too many diners to look after. Noisy place better suited to rowdy office parties than birthday dinners. Might have been better had we sat upstairs but there was no option to choose where to sit when I booked. The wine was excellent. Should be at the price.

Had a fantastic family dinner at German Gymnasium. The food was outstanding—full of flavor, well presented, and clearly made with top-quality ingredients. The service from Toheeb was exceptional—attentive, friendly, and made the evening even more special. We’ll definitely be back!

Gave a 2 star review 6 years ago and it's got to drop now. Last 3 times I've been there, the toilets have been flooded and getting service outside is a nightmare. Waited 15 mins for a waiter so went to the bar and were almost told off by the barman because you can't order at the bar. When we finally managed to order it took 15 mins to arrive. Shambles! And so expensive. Do yourself a favour and go anywhere else.

Perfectly served by Toheeb upstairs before dinner. Impossible not to smile and enjoy yourself when Toheeb is nearby!

I’m a regular customer and I usually come after work to German Gynnasium to have a couple of drinks with my colleagues and I never disappointed! Fabio the waiter it’s always professional and polite and always makes us laughing so much. The service it’s just on point and the food it’s very delicious. I appreciated that lil blanket that Fabio provided me as soon that he seen me step in. Love the place!!

Had few drinks as well as couple of sharing dishes with my girls. Service - Fabio - was simply outstanding. I wish we could get it all over London. Definitely recommend! See you soon Fabio! Xx

Great food been a few times it's always nice.

Had a lovely meal with my wife to celebrate a significant anniversary. Great food, attentive service, great buzz about the place and wonderfully Christmassy! Recommended.

Beautiful space but every time I go, the food is more expensive and less good and the staff are more aggressive and less good. After a really disappointing visit tonight, I think I won’t be back again.

The best pork knuckle I had. Very generous portion. Service was great. Great value for money.

2nd time of dining here. The food was great and the building is amazing. . The service was below what I would expect. Some very inexperienced staff that hadn’t been given sufficient training, as a result they came across as rude. A shame as it impacts on the experience.

I was here with my friends earlier today and I must say it indeed worth the stars. I must also credit the exceptional service provided by our waiter, Abiola. From the moment we were seated, he went above and beyond to ensure a delightful experience. He was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and made excellent wine & cocktail recommendations. His warm demeanor and professionalism truly stood out. He made our visit truly memorable. I highly recommend dining here.

This used to be our favourite go to after work but they have changes supplier and the once beloved sausage now spits with fat when you pierce it with your fork, has gristle in it and is simply not the quality it used to be. The triple cooked chips have been replaced with neon yellow soggy alternatives and overall they have ruined it by no doubt cost saving. Only thing that remains as good is the amazing apple strudel, but won’t be coming back just for that sadly.

Posh and had good taste but was a little on the expensive side. I enjoyed it a lot though but if coming in a large group I recommend splitting the check.

Came for a coffee ended up spending the whole evening. There’s drinks and food no matter what vibe you’re in. Our waiter Toheeb was the cherry on the cake, smiley, professional and efficient. Thanks Toheeb for being part of us having such a good time.

It’s been years since I felt compelled to write a negative review but this deserves it .. especially when the restaurant is set in such a sensational building. It’s been a few years since I was last here but has some brilliant business lunches 2017-2020 Today the menu seemed limited - not a problem generally if the food is top notch … but the food was average. That might still have been ok but .. The service was shocking. Inattentive and slow. Surely running a restaurant next to a major train station tunes a restaurant operator up to the need for decent service? Or are they running it staff-light - a vicious cricle if so. Kings X a decent enough area nowadays but I would avoid the rush hour (lunchtime) here

Amazing service! I arrived with lots of bags and the staff looked after them and made sure I was comfortable. I then had to leave unexpectedly to run to the station without drinking my tea and when I returned the staff got me a fresh pot and had saved my place. Wonderful. Great atmosphere and beautiful Christmas tree!

The location is very good. So to is the service and the beer however the food is bland. There were 5 of us on our table who all came away feeling let down. Since my visit I have read a Jay Rayner review from 2015 and it echoes my recent experience.

Went here for birthday drinks and they sat us right in the corner away from the main restaurant and it was very secluded and dead. We then order drinks and they took 20 mins to take our order and then another 45 mins to arrive. How can it take 45 mins to make 4 drinks? After that they charged us £8 service fee and we declined saying that we had to wait 45 mins and there wasn’t any service so we wouldn’t pay the fee. After that the waiter gave us a glare and didn’t even say thank you after we had paid. Quite rude and extremely bad service.

Spacious venue with a selection of German dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner

Fed up with the waiters constantly trying to up sell drinks and having to ask 4 times for a jug of water. Schnitzel I had was tough, bit large. Chicken paprika was forgettable. Atmosphere was good.

We had dinner there with a friend on Saturday October 19, 2024, we ate outside and were served by Jojo, a great waitress with whom we were able to speak a little French. Great restaurant with German cuisine, main course and drink 40 euros per person for us.

Excellent service rendered by George at our table. We had a very good ceaser salad and an ok veal schnitzel (a little tough for our taste). The place is an attraction on itself. This was a good choice close to st Pancras. If we would come by around again, we would try the pork knuckle, which looked very good in the table besides us
