Very tasty fish and chips, nicely battered, crispy and good portion. Was especially nice on a typically chilly day. Would eat here again!

Delicious, crunchy on the outside and very soft on the inside accompanied by a ton of chips!

I ate very tasty fish & chips here, located right next to the Tower of London. I can only recommend it to everyone.

The fish is quite good, the breading and all. Sauces are complimentary and it's all halal, can't complain. It's good and accessible for tourists and is quite nourishing.

The best fish and chips I had in England when on holiday recently. The majority of fish is nattered in the UK and I’m not usually a fan as I find it greasy. Not this experience though! The fish had a golden light batter, that was crisp and the fish was perfectly cooked. Not greasy or overcooked. The chips were good too. I particularly liked the number of free sauces and dressings available. Great location alongside the Tower of London. The ticket office for the Tower is just up from this kiosk. There is seating in the square on stone benches. In the busy summer period you may have trouble getting a seat. The service was good, friendly staff and efficient.

The fish was tasty and plentiful, perhaps could have been seasoned more!

It is highly not recommended, the waiter should just remember to collect the money.

Okay for a snack stand, but quite expensive. If you eat fish and chips for the first time, you should definitely go to a real restaurant. I liked the self-service for sauces, cutlery and spices on the side.

I don't recommend it. The fish was tasteless and the fries were full of urine. The best place for this food is in the trash can. £14 wasted!

A couple of days ago we went to another fish and chip shop that was orders of magnitude better. The chips are decent. The fish is fair and best. The the breading is heavy and holds the grease. you will want to use large amounts of salt and vinegar. I almost never leave anything other than positive reviews. This place is just fair. If this is the only time you are going to have fish and chips in London, rethink your choice. There are much better options.

Located right across from the Tower of London, Josef Traditional Fish & Chips serve up some excellent fish and chips. Though it is naturally busy next to such an iconic landmark, service was efficient and friendly. The cod in particular was fresh, light and tasty. A yummy example of a favourite, and you can’t go wrong with the accompanying view. Recommended.

Fish tastes like nothing, fries were wabbelig/too soft, some was cold Also a pidgeon pooped on us right after I sent the review so watch out

Unfortunately, the food was cold and soggy. We have rarely eaten such bad fish and chips. The fish was completely tasteless.

If you're looking for a quick, easy, yummy experience, grab a Josef fish and chips. Is it the best? No. Is it very good and serves fresh and fast in a heavy tourist area? Yes. We sat and looked at the Tower of London and enjoyed a great piece of fried fish with chips. 100% experience. Would do again.

I had an average chicken burger at this place, so I can't speak for its fish and chips. It took a while for the servers to prepare the food, so at least I knew it was cooked fresh (from frozen). The chips were bland and needed ketchup or mustard. The portions were good, hence the three stars. The server was polite, so no complaints there.

Das war lecker ! Direkt am Tower of London gibt es auf der linken Seite diesen kleinen aber feinen Imbiss. Hier gibt es Fisch & Chips mit Remoulade , Mayo und Gewürzgurke. Die Speisen wurden frisch zubereitet und heiß serviert . Es war super lecker DANKE

Un bon fish and chips juste à côté de l'entrée de la Tour de Londres. Rien d'exceptionnel cependant mais très pratique et très nourrissant. Nous avons mangé sur une des nombreuses places assises bordant l'entrée.

Ein Klassiker den man probiert haben muss. Allerdings sehr fettig und der Fisch ohne viel Würze kaum Salz etc. vermisst habe ich Remoulade mit Essig ist doch sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig.

Lovely fish and chips . Service was slow but the end product was worth it . The care put into my food was lovely , with carefully placed condiments. Which were fresh ! The fish was fresh …and the chips tasted like they were fresh ( not of stale oil ) The place looks clean .. Thank you josefs .. pls keep up the good work

Very friendly staff and fast food. Everything was good except the fish who has no taste and the chips. This is problematic for a restaurant that specializes in this type of food. Not too expensive so that’s okay.

Overpriced average soggy fish and chips

Staff were friendly and attentive and got the food out fast. Unfortunately that is where the good ended. I am always wary about going to restaurants in tourist areas as they are mostly overpriced and subpar. With this being right next door to the ticket window at the Tower of London I was not enthusiastic but the family was hungry and looking for fish and chips. This food was lukewarm (had been sitting for awhile) with near no flavor except for that old fish taste that you get when it is not fresh. The chips were lifeless - my wife commented this was the worst meal of our entire trip to Europe this summer and unfortunately one of the priciest. My recommendation if near the Tower of London and looking for fish and chips find something else!

Over-priced tourist focused vendor. Ordered a single fish, which was not freshly fried. The batter was soggy and stale, fish was luke warm and just average. Also there is no tartar sauce.

Sabroso el pescado pero quizás un poco pasado de aceite la fritura. Las papas estaban bien, cumplían pero en ningun caso sobresalientes considerando el precio cobrado y que se trata de un local de comida callejera.

Der Preis ist schon echt gesalzen, aber dafür sind die Portionen echt groß, geschmacklich war es top, ich würde sofort wieder dort essen. Mitarbeiter sind sehr lustig

Não se pode ir a Londres sem comer Fish 'n Chips. Este local fica à entrada da Torre de Londres. Está bem, saboroso e de qualidade bastante aceitável. €12,50 por uma dose de peixe com batatas fritas. 😆

A batata é muito gostosa. A crosta do peixe estava muito boa. Só achei o peixe um pouco sem sal (quando adicionamos o sal, ficou muito melhor). Também senti falta de guardanapos.

Muy costoso para un pescado sin sabor y con un olor muy desagradable. Además el apanado estaba muy grasoso. Tenía muchas expectativas pero con esta mala experiencia no me quedaron ganas de comer otro fish and chips.

Had fish and chips yesterday by 18:30 time, it was off peak the chips were good but the fish was not fresh for sure and it was even smelled like it was old fish. The texture was rubbery and not fresh at all. When we spoke to the staff about this within a min since we paid and started to eat right infront of them, they simply invalidated our feedback and said that they had made the fish just 30 mins back and nobody else complained like this. Totally disappointed and threw my 12 pound worth money inside the bin right in front of the shop. Kindly don't invalidate a customer s feedback as we are not gonna gain anything by lying we have had fish and chips so many times in many other places and have never faced an experience like this🙁.

Bon fish and chips même si les frites étaient coupées trop grosse à mon goût et la sauce industrielle était d'une qualité médiocre. 12£ sans boissons. Les quantités sont assez généreuses, c'est presque assez pour un couple si vous avez abusé de "l'english breakfast" le matin à l'hôtel... Repas à emporter obligatoirement car aucune tables ni chaises n'est prévu, dommage de devoir manger dans l'escalier en face.

Londoni viszonylatban olcsónak mondható gyorsbüfé, közvetlenül a Tower of London mellett. A Fish and Chips finom volt. Első pillantásra kicsinek tűnt az adag, de azután alig bírtam megenni. Mi lehetne jobban tipikus londoni dolog, mint Fish and Chips-et enni a Temze partján? :-)

Aici am mâncat renumitul meniu britanic "Fish & Chips" (varianta cu pește clasic, nu cu cod). Chiar mi-a plăcut foarte mult și peștele (nu știu ce soi era) și cartofii prăjiți. Porția e suficient de mare, iar sosuri îți pui tu ce și cât vrei. Merită încercat !

tried this fish and chips as well as the store next to it, the other store did not give us the lemon and tar tar sauce this store did. the fish here was also better, with the other store's having bones in their fish. staff was also friendly.
