Fabulous Italian meal in the nice setting both within Bourton and in its building. Pizzas were great and portions for pasta were spot on. Would score higher if not for the ‘discretionary’ tip added to bill. DO NOT ASSUME GOOD SERVICE and have customer request to remove it. UK staff are paid well in comparison to other countries and exemplary service will be rewarded if it’s actually received.

We had a Sunday night in Bourton on the Water on our way to Cornwall and wanted a pleasant evening meal. So after reading reviews on yours truly we decided to book this restaurant. We were so impressed. Ok the dining environment may not be the most salubrious but do not let that put you off. The service, the wine, the food and finally the price were all fabulous. We opted for the tapas and can honestly say it matched those tasted in Barcelona! We will definitely be back. Thank you!

The ambience of this restaurant is casual yet upscale. We shared some of the Italian tapas and they were all delicious. A glass of red completed the meal.

We had a lovely lunchtime meal out in the garden. We enjoyed that it was set back from the water (as it was too busy there). The meal was good. We had gluten-free garlic bread, a pizza, and the sea bass dish, which was lovely. We also had a dry rose and a soft drink. Good service.

Lovely place, great food and very fresh, great hospitality staff that have passion for what they do. Relaxed vibe and the pizza was incredible. Would return again. Absolutely.

Amazing service, great food. To be honest Sophia is possibly the most charming, engaging waitress we've ever met. We ate from the tapas menu and the stuffed aubergine was to die for. The cost was very reasonable especially for the location.

Food and ambience with Italian, Pizza, Vegetarian Friendly, Vegan and Gluten Free Options too. I recommend the Spaghetti Bolognese of course :) They are really cheery and make you feel welcome too.

Somewhat tucked away, this Italian Restaurant is exceptional. 2 of us shared the Vegetarian Cicchetti, all of which were delicious. The Arancini was the best I've ever had. The rice was perfectly cooked, and the seasoning subtle and well balanced. The Primativo was really good too !

Food was nice. My husband had the calzone and he thoroughly enjoyed it. I had a pizza and eventhough it was had a thin base, I still couldn't finished it. Staff were super helpful and knowledgeable about allergens.

Lovely lunch in the garden at the back of the restaurant sat in the sunshine. Staff were lovely and welcoming. We had pizza and lasagne with drinks and a bottle red wine. Good value and very tasty food. Would highly recommend

Stayed at the hotel and ate here for breakfast for our whole stay and dinner one night. Excellent food and very aware of allergens and dietary conditions. I’m coeliac and the menu was superb - pretty much everything was available gluten free and the meal was delicious.

I was very impressed when I received the calzone, it was shaped beautifully and cooked to perfection. The chef is an artist. Great choice of food on the menu. The house wine was great. Special mention to Sophia which looked after us like a true Italian would do.

Servizio molto cordiale e sorridente senza essere invadente. Il menù è da eccellenza della cucina, ottimo il risotto seafood (sembra di essere in Italia) ma il top è rappresentato dai ravioli lobster con granchio fritto e una deliziosa bisque di gamberi. What a lovely evening we had! The food was the best Ive had in Bourton on the water by far! The staff were incredible, a special thankyou to Ruby and Sophie who catered for us tonight! The bar staff made sure all of our drinks were topped up! They were outstanding and always smiling! Will definitely definitely be coming in the new year!

Not happy at all had spaghetti carbanara and found a long peice of metal scourer in it when we raised it they said the kitchen has been made aware my partner was put off by this and didn't want to eat the rest of his meal we were told don't worry there nothing in yours even though we only ate half of the meals and sides we had to pay for all of the meal apart from mine so still 37 pound manager didn't come over and see us I am absolutely disgusted at how we were treated and I can honestly say I will never go back. if the scourer is falling apart like that then I think there is an issue with hygiene Just thank god I saw it before eating it as I'm 7 months pregnant

It looked the busiest restaurant of a few we looked at so decided to give it try. Weren’t disappointed. One of the best Calzones I have ever had. Also an amazing wine list that matched the food perfectly.

We managed to get a table last minute after visiting Burton on the water. It was very busy so I would recommend booking. We had a lovely starter, pizza and ala carte menu. Drinks were a little pricey but the wine was lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and food. The waitresses were attentive and we had a nice dining experience.

Myself and my husband came here on a Friday night whilst visiting Bourton-on-the-Water. We didn't book but managed to get a table, drinks arrived quickly and orders were taken. Starters were underwhelming and not very good, the bread that came with my mozzarella was cold. Main courses were good and portion sizes were good.

We were attracted by the new Tapas menu but discovered it was for lunch time only so I ordered the risotto and my husband the sea bass. He was happy with his meal but I was shocked by mine. The rice was dry and tasteless. I seasoned it 4 times but it didn’t help. My husband gave me some of his sauce which helped a bit but it was the chicken which was dry and hard and added and after cooking that was even more of a disappointment. Oh and the chorizo was noticeable by its absence. We go out to enjoy food that we cannot prepare at home but I’m sorry I would start again if I had cooked this. It wasn’t helped by the fact that my rose was barely chilled and I needed to ask for ice to enjoy it.

We were here at bank holiday and so it was very busy. We had to chase for drinks and the food did not arrive together plus one meal was missed and we had to chase that. I do sympathise because they were trying their best but were simply overwhelmed. I guess the tip is try and avoid peak times. The food was good and I would return - just not at 1 o'clock on a bank holiday.

We came after being recommended by the owner of the B&,B where we were staying it is a nice modern restaurant with an outside area also We both had the Chicken with pepper corn sauce which was served with veg and some rossti potatoes it was all beautifully presented followed by apple Tarte tane served with ice cream which was lovely All the staff were friendly and efficient Would recommend and hopefully come back as we hope to return to bourton in the Spring to visit more of.the Cotswolds

We made a same day booking on suggestion from our B&B host. So glad we managed to get a reservation. The food we ate was very tasty we enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was excellent.

Booked in for dinner an hour in advance having just arrived in the area and very pleased we did. Small but tasteful dining area with a pleasant atmosphere (apart from the lady who thought it was fine to have a very loud, very long FaceTime call in the bar - not the restaurant’s fault though!) The staff were really friendly and the food was excellent. My wife had the ravioli which looked small on arrival but was actually more than enough - and really tasty. I had a pizza. Now, ordinarily I’d find it difficult to rave about a pizza, but this one was absolutely fantastic. Just like an authentic Italian offering! Dessert was tiramisu x2 and also very nice. Would highly recommend!

I sat in the bar of this lovely Italien restaurant and I had the pleasure to be served by the bar man Oscar Henley. He was extremely polite and accommodating for my partner and eased us into the evening. His service really blew me away. The climax of the evening was when he brought our pizza which was phenomenal. This was all accompanied by some great wines.
