How difficult is it to take food and put it in a bag and give it to someone? Apparently very difficult for the people who work here. We received the complete wrong order. LEARN TO DO YOUR JOB PROPERLY!

Another time when the food ordered at McDonald's in Livingston is not complete. This time two portions of large fries were missing from both meals. How many times can I have it, I am tired of having to ask for something all the time...

the McDonalds outside across the road from the designer outlet has what is meant to be a drive thru but its a total joke. because if you order you're food at it you go to the last window to pay and a crew member will say can you park up in a parking bay and guess what happens they just forget that you are even there and they can make you wait for up to half a hour or even more. which I think is quite ridiculous in this day and age. and nobody comes out to even tell you why the delay is and how long you're food will take to be delivered to you. in the end I just got a refund. luckily enough as they didn't even give me a receipt. so if you're going here and you're going to the drive thru. watch out for that as you may not be as lucky if they pretend to not know that you ordered there. I think that is quite the scam behaviour. p.s if your ordering your food here best to ask for a receipt just in case.

We had a terrible experience. Waited 45 mins for a simple order which was barely luke warm when we go it. Several people who had ordered before us got served before us. Only after we asked at the desk did we get our order 5 minutes after. We weren't the only people who had long wait times, and several people had incorrect or unfinished orders.

My friend has a gluten allergy so she asked the lady at the till of the galaxy mcflurry had any gluten, the lady said no gluten at all so my friend bought the mcflurry we where very curios so we checked the ingredients list online, it said may contain wheat and barley this meant that she was sick because it had gluten in it. Ps she nearly had to go to the hospital because they did not tell her the right ingredients. She even triple checked it on the ordering machine that said it's gluten free then asked as I said. We were with 4 people altogether

Awful, yet again. Waited for over 20 minutes for my drive-though order and the bacon roll was missing, didn't check it until I got home so my fault I guess. Do they actually ever put food through the drive-through delivery window? Never using his McDonalds again, the speed and quality of service has never been great here, but now it is off the chart bad.

Horrible. 15 min wait after ordering in drive through. Food eventually brought out and cold in the bags. Drinks not properly filled, two nuggets missing from my daughter's meal and no ordered dips in the bag. Staff look like they can't be bothered, maybe they could stop messing about at the drive through windows and provide some decent service.

We only got 4 chicken nuggets when we ordered 6, drinks weren't full, food was lukewarm, staff was very distracted and unbothered, we didn't get part of our order, we easily waited 30 minutes for all this and I nearly started crying when I was handed a lukewarm bag of food. Food is mediocre, service was disgraceful and was a truly awful way to end the day Avoid at all costs

Definitely not worth we waited for ever to for them to get a bag that under the hot lamp so was cold and had to return also manager gave people ice cream after carrying them with her fingers on the inside of the pots. Is there even a health code here.

Would like start off by saying that this was supposed to be a lovely anniversary dinner at McDonald's restaurant. As the smart and money aware women I am I began to save up my benefits to take my husband and sons back to the place we found out we were going to have our first out of our two lovely , kind hearted, handsome fit and wealthy (in the heart sons as unfortunately they have both been let go from their jobs recently).Just to backtrack we found out this wonderful yet unexpected and surprising news in the the disabled toilet which back then smelt better and had full soap dispensers and no underlying smell of human feces. To set the scene me , my husband tony and the boys got off the number x28 bus and arrived outside the restaurant to be astonished to discover there was litter and bird feces everywhere not to mention the very scary looking hooligans with their hoods up and UNDERAGE VAPING!! As a cancer survivor... I HATE VAPING. As we walk towards the doors the threatening security guard has the Audacity to ID my youngest angel son - William. Not only did this make us all very uncomfortable because Williams trouser are a little bit too tight to fit his hands into his pocket to retrieve his wallet it also made me as a woman scared to of the environment I was going into #womansrights. Moving swiftly on after choosing out table no one came to take our order. Not impressed. No one even came to clean up to remaining salty sticky mess less from the previous teenage boys. However once i finally caught the attention of a young man who came and wiped his dirty rag over the table he informed me I can order on the televison orderimg device. While I was standing contemplating what we would like to indulge in the young man standing directly behind me verbally abused me. I don't want to go into too much detail as it still triggers me and fills me with regret and anxiety to this day it sounded like he called me an old bitch and tried to blame this verbal abuse on the fact I was taking so long to order baring in mimd I was only looking at the menu for about ten minutes. I have no idea how he new my name was Karen nor the fact that my peers used to call me the fat slag of Gordon way! Once we had all ordered we made our way to the counter as I made the young man who was assisting us give us instructions.( Lovely young boy would have tipped him if my benefits came this month.) Anyways to cut a long story short chips were cold and soggy milkshake machine was broken, too many gerkins on the burger and my husband bumped into the woman he has been having an affair with for the past then years . Very triggered. Will not be returning.

I ordered on the McDonald’s app, but was delivered by Uber. Half the order was missing, meaning I effectively paid £15.00 for an overcooked burger, and a coupe of chess balls. I called the restaurant, but the manager could not care less. He just spouted nonsense, saying I need to contact Uber. That is not true. I ordered through McDonald’s, and I was billed by McDonald’s, so my contract was with them. He said he was the Manager. If he is, he needs a lesson on contract law, and how not to patronise people.

I won't be back. They have changed the buns and the content of the Big Mac, it was horrible. If this is permanent, I won't be eating there ever again.

We have breakfast here every couple of weeks. They renovated the building and reopened on 6th of June. They should have retrained their staff. Service is awful waited 30 minutes for our number to be called other people in before me still waiting. Service is awful.

Been stuck in the drive through at the front for 45 minutes. Nobody is moving or has explained what is happening. Already ordered and paid on the app and can’t go anywhere, starving.

This is the closest Mc Donald’s to me so I have to go. Get the orders wrong most times and always forgetting stuff. Today I waited 15 minutes to get to the check out to be told cash only!!! The service at Livingston Drive Through is to say the least awful sat at Druve Through fir nearly 10 mins waiting to give order 3 other cars turn up their order taken straight away when I Drive round and say all I get told with a rude manner is " well Drive round and give your order now " the previous week I'm made a fool off infront of other staff because I ordered a latte really the last thing you need to start your day at 7am

I got told to park up and wait for a mayo chicken and everyone else had big orders of food and mines wasn’t ready for 20 f*cking minutes this place is a shambles I will Not be back

1st things 1st beware when using the app to order to your table as for some dodgy reason it picks your location as the McDonalds that is upstairs in the designer outlet and the manager here cannot/will not sort it for you if you don’t notice! On the other hand you’d be better going to the one across the road as the service and cleanliness is much better! Visited with my daughter and sat at our table and ordered our meals. 15 mins later no food had arrived so I went to the counter to ask. Guy couldn’t have been less interested but then pointed out that the app had picked up restaurant across the road, something he was aware of that happens. We were starving and I pointed out I’m diabetic and had taken insulin and needed to eat. Nope, we needed to go to the other centre. I asked for a manager. He was the manager! Gormless! Stated he couldn’t do anything and we needed to go to the other place. Needing a lesson in customer service. To add to the disappointing review, behind the counter there was about 20 staff, more than was in the shop, poured cups of juice everywhere and the ice cream machine looked like it had exploded and never been cleaned. It was chaos. There was also a horrible smell in the air around entrance to toilets and counter area. Was actually disgusting and I’m glad in a way we ended up not eating there. Will not be back.

Called the restaurant and spoke to a Manager explained that Order arrived -NO FRIES, DIET COKE WARM AND FLAT, CHICKEN SELECTS LUKE WARM, BURGER COLD. Her answer was disgraceful - “The food leaves here hot but we don’t know how long the drivers take to deliver it. SO BASICALLY NOT OUR FAULT TOO BAD AND EAT UP AND SHUT UP. WE WILL NOT ORDER OR VISIT THIS RESTAURANT AGAIN. CUSTOMER BEWARE!!!!!

Went through the Drive thru and ordered a large big mac meal and a box of nuggets.. get back home tonight discover they haven't even put a big mac in my order... This location consistently screws up orders and it's become so boring now.. I've not got the time to go back and complain so now I'm down £12 for some nuggets, fries and coke... disgusting Is this negligence some kind of training deficit that needs to be addressed?

Visited today. Ordered 2 cokes, recieved both with no ice. One double cheeseburger with no pickles which was correct and one plain cheeseburger which came with everything on it. Went back round the drive through, they didn’t care and said to go to the second window. Was then given two cheeseburgers with everything on them. Absolute shambles of a place and staff who couldn’t care less.

Half the order missing from a £40 pounds family order. This is not a one off either! When it comes to getting the order wrong!!!😠 Get your act together Livingston drive through.

McDonald’s is advertising new dips. For us a good reason to get a meal and try them out. For the fourth time over the course of months we have not received them. Not a matter of money, obviously, but does feel perceptive. Why even advertise it? Would not recommend going here is this is definitely not the first time items are missing, and I’m not just talking about dips. Drinks, burgers and once even two full meals. Very disappointing.

Awful. 17 year (18 in 2 weeks time) old at 9pm told by the security guard (Pakistani) at the door, that they could not get in because under 18 years old, and told to go home and cook!!!!!!!!!

Came in around 2:30am Understandably late. Staff not in uniform. Wearing air pods. No hair nets or tied up hair on the ladies. Found a hair in my food which is less than enjoyable. I cant believe the length of wait here. So, we waited in the queue for quite a while just to get into the car park. When we got out of the car, we were greeted with the news that they were, in fact, closed (still open for drive through). This meant us going through the process of rejoining the queue to go to the drive through, which was pretty much a total standstill. We placed an order on the app, so it would be quicker to pick up. When we finally got to the window, one burger, drink, and fries were missing from our order. We had to pull over and wait for them being brought over. This ended up meaning that our total wait was almost an hour and a half. Food was cold by the time we got to eat it, and there were also no sauces in the bag. Really disappointed.

For months the staff at this branch, taking the orders and making them up cannot get the basics of reading an order and making it up for breakfasts. You request no cheese due to allergy’s, you get cheese, request a double you get a single, no egg you get one, ask for coffee you get tea, the list is endless.Duty Managers on breakfast, say sorry you can have a free one tomorrow. No, enough! This is not just a one off this is a daily/weekly occurrence.The people you are recruiting are either not suitable for the job because they cannot fulfill and order correctly or your training is inadequate.There are occasions I am the only person in the drive thru and the order is still incorrect.The breakfast food is ok, it’s the breakfast teams that are the issue.A regular customer has been lost.

after giving the restaurant a glowing rating on Just eat for speed of delivery etc, i noticed that instead of having a 20 mcdonald nugget sharebox i was reduced to 17!either they are cutting back to save greenhouse gasses or their employees simply cannot count. Placed order, paid for delivery but only 50% of the items ordered (and paid for) arrived!!!Contacted "Just Eat" who were completely disinterested. They refunded missing items and reordered them BUT new delivery charge applied.2nd delivery containing original missing items only to discover that the Frozen Strawberry Lemonade had been tipped over in transit and was simply a lump of ice! Have attempted to phone McDonalds no less that 25 times but phone off the hook and Just Eat do not care at all - why should they? They have had 2 delivery fees after all!!Advice - don't use Just Eat and avoid McDonalds Livingston if you really want a full and decent order!!!

Just read the other reviews, I wish we had read them before placing our order today. Food was not very hot. A small amount of items were missing, but we were charged for them. All the chips were the same size considering we had paid extra for larger sizes, No tomatoes in a salad. Next time we shall order Chinese as it costs the same but we are not left feeling hungry. Certainly nothing to write home about. First and last time we shall be ordering from here.

This is the 3rd time I’ve ordered a delivery and the 3rd time I’ve had a meal missing! How hard is it to double check all items are in the bag! Bloody joke!

Ordered 5 meals for staff through Uber Eats, The driver was only given half the food and the "manager" refused to accept responsibility, or replace or refund the missing items. Very poorly managed outlet with terrible service and poorly trained staff. Order and eat anywhere else but this place!

Got my favourite Big Mac meal with a cappacino. Big Mac - stone cold and flung together. All over the place when I opened the box. Fries - cold. (I live about a 3 minute drive from the drive through so that excuse won't wash) Also went for a Double Sausage n Egg Mcmuffin meal the other morning. No cheese or egg, flung into the box with zero care. Just goes to show, McDonalds are not the same whenever they are. S***e.

Ordered a £20 order for 2nd time when no sauces selected with meal were delivered with the order! Mozarella bites without the salsa which come as part of meal and 20 chicken nuggets without Sauce - called them up and as through Uber eats they couldn’t sent any more out. Only thing could be done was to let staff know to add - sorry but really poor customer service here!!

I placed a order through Uber eats, which was all fine. Recurved order only to discover my 4 year old daughters happy meal was not delivered. The only thing in the bag for her was her ketchup and drink. I therefor phoned them to be told to either go and collect it myself (to which I couldn’t as I don’t drive, hence the reason I got a delivery) or contact Uber eats to get a refund. So was left with no choice but to request a refund and share what I had ordered with her. I think this customer service was terrible, and no help whatsoever, Uber sends the order to them but it’s actually the Mac Donald’s staff that make up the order....

A huge company like this can be very sterile but here all the staff make it feel like a corner coffee shop.They take time to know and interact with their reculars and make everyone feel welcome. Food standard for McDonald's service well above standard this outlet has a beating heart.

Shocking Customer Service at the McDonald's Drive thru at Livingston, paid by the card machine and got my receipt after i paid and they told me i had not paid when my online bank statement said i had, they then told me i would get served next then proceeded to serve the long Que off customers about 15 off them!!! I WILL NOT BE BACK!!!! Management are rude also as are staff.

Located on the upper floor of the outlet village the newly refurbished smart eating area contains various eating establishments including a McDonald's.All orders are placed via the self service screens which seemed to work well. However collection was a bit chaotic as numerous people were then all gathered at the collection desk.After a small wait our order was available for collection.We found a quiet place to still which was a real treat and much more civilised than a normal McDonald's dinning experience.Our daughters spirit zero tasted horrible and when we returned to the task to complain the stuff were rude and advised this was because it was sprite zero without even sampling the product being offered. Have drank sprite zero on numerous occasions there was something seriously wrong with thid drink.More customer interaction training required

I visited the drive thru tonight there were two lanes but one lane received much better service than the other- 4 cars in comparison to 1 car in my lane, there was no Diet Coke and they could not give me a receipt for my purchase. They were extremely busy therefore you would think that the food would be fresh but the fries were cold. The bin in the car park was over flowing

Typically, I roll up late to the drive through and purchase whichever cheese dipper special is on offer along with some kind of meal. Until tonight I’d never bought a salad, however I don’t think I’d buy another from the drive through. My salad consisted of a box of rocket, some grilled chicken breast, 1 slice of tomato and 2 slices of cucumber. No onion as shown on a basic google image and definitely nowhere near the amount of tomato or cucumber.. I eat out of the drive through at least 4 times a week after work, and typically enjoy my food, but the salads need some work. Also trying to eat one with a spoon is difficult.

Visited McDonalds last June for an evening business meal after consuming a late lunch, which meal consisted of mains, desserts and coffee with a total duration of 1hour 44 minutes. Nothing to complain about the restaurant, only to find out after 6 weeks that we were slapped with a fine by Uk Parking Control Ltd of 50 Sterling because we left our car for 14 minutes more than the permitted parking time inside McDonald's own parking, which parking was almost empty for the duration of our stay. We would had no problem about this fine had we parked there and went elsewhere but to slap McDonalds own customers with a fine because these same customers parked their car inside McDonald's own parking space is stupid, nonsense and drives business away for the sake of a private parking management company to generate revenue.This was the sixth business visit to Livingston and we will soon visit again, but we would never ever again visit McDonalds Livingston. There are other dining places nearby with non-problematic parking or parking managed by a serious parking company who really manages parking spaces rather than making a profit out of the company's own customers.

Visited with my family about 8pm on a Monday night. The restaurant was quite busy but it was very clean and tidy with staff continually making sure the floor and tables were free of mess. We used the self service ordering system and the food was prepared and ready to collect quickly and was hot and fresh.

Fast pleasant service. Manager went to back office to check for toy for Happy Meal. Best service in since Canadians came to Ireland and Scotland

Worst people. Waited half an hour for 1 meal. Weren’t busy at all. All the staff standing speaking the whole time, on their phones etc. All so rude. When got food it was cold. Weirdest group of people ever ???

This McDonalds is terrible. This is now the Fifth time we've had terrible services. Long wait times, poor services. If this wasn't bad enough, they have given us the wrong food now on four occasions. It's very disappointing to drive down there only to get home and discover the food order is wrong. I won't be back and can't believe they can be so bad, so often. they're clearly not reading nor acting upon the reviews on here.

They have recently taken away counter service and installed about 20 self service machines. It was absolute chaos, people were queuing or standing around, as the queue system wasn’t big enough and therefore blocking walkways. No doubt the staff were working hard but they couldn’t keep up with the amount of orders coming through on the self service machines. We had over 60 people in front of us, our Oder number took about 30 mins to show up!!!! Food wasn’t particularly hot, drinks were flat as they were made in advance. I had two kids with me who had to wait!!!! Not impressed and hope you improve and change your processes!

Been on a night out and drive up at 2am and they say they are shut at 1pm when it states on google that they are open 24hours, very disappointing and wasted petrol!!

Today I went in to McDonald’s for a coffee . The coffee was good and restaurant was clean , modern and staff were busy!

Got the same as usual however all the bags of chips were sitting out ready to go in bags so they were really cold when we got them. Also we had to wait a long time as the caramel for he sundae machine ran out so the hot food all got colder than it should be. On the up side when the caramel cake the girl put loads on to compensate! So it was more delicious than usual!

Access is very difficult due to the green top stools that are stationed at the end of the tables. Not only do they reduce accessability due to their wieght they cannot be easily moved out of the way. My own wheelchair is a small frame and I struggle. How can this resteraunt have cleared its accessability audit ? Come on everyone deserves equal access to a Maccy D ;)

Went to the drive thru and couldn't hear a thing! Got an ear full of static and heavy breathing from a ill sounding teenager. I could tell he clearly didn't want to be there from the tone of his voice. I finally get my order through and they tell me, 'Burger machine broke'. What does that even mean???

I'm pregnant and for almost 2 weeks they haven't had the ice machine working which means no caramel frappes during the day until after work and I drive to the next nearest one

Chose a grilled chicken salad which was awful. Huge bowl of lettuce, 4 baby tomatoes whole & 4 thin slices of warm chicken served with a huge side of balsamic dressing. No fizzy water or mayo available. Salad was tasteless, dry & very boring. Don’t bother if you’re looking for something healthy in the food court.

Usual McDonald’s food . Luke warm . The electronic board is great for ordering you get what you ordered .

Not been here for a while and glad to report good service and decent food and drinks. Had the wrap of the day - the Sweet Chilli with Grilled Chicken and it was really nice, washed down with a decent coffee

McDonalds is located between shopping centres near to the bus depot. Its has a drive in swell as a sit down area so if you are in a hurry its easy. The staff i find are impolite and offer scruffily dressed often wearing stained or dirty uniforms which is a turn off. I cannot get over paying the government bag tax for a paper bag.

Service and staff are always the issue for me at some outlets, butni have to say this one was really good. As long as this is not the one in the Almondvale centre or the outlet centre but the drive thru one. Very impressed

The dining room was clean and food was ok but we found the staff to be quite lay back in service. Nothing seemed to be done in a hurry.

I found McDonalds a value for money when they offered a free mayo chicken burger when a student purchases an extra value meal at £4.19. They served me very quick as we were hungry and looking for a quick fill.Customer service was great as the person who served me talked to me with smiles, explained the offers and were more than happy to help.

Visited recently with a child who has autism, the staff could not be anymore helpful, nothing was a bother at all. Nice to see such good customer service. Thanks for the help, especially to the gentlemen who was cleaning the tables and giving the kids balloons.

I been today there with my friends, and we hade meal , and my friend have a ice cream , look so terrible and not even there a same how look like in pic , shame my friend when to manger and talk to him , about the ice cream , the manger Paul Smith , was very rude and not professional at all my friend told him about the problem but still hi didn't want to listen , poor costumer service, poor food . Ice cream horrible , Menager nowhere near professional and very rude bag attitude ...?

I got the craving for a McDonalds as I hadn't had one for ages, think there must have been an advert on.There's apparently more beef fat on the chips than in the cheeseburger!More meat on the chips, than in the meat!Never again.

Was just here for a quick 'drive thru' when I ordered a meal and drink being a banana milkshake. When we went to collect the meal and drink we realised we had been given an Irn Bru instead and asked to change it which normally is no issue in McDonalds especially when we were given the wrong drink. The male employee serving us showed us it had been out through as an Irn Bru and kept with the stance that it was our fault, said there was nothing he could do and said if we wanted a Banana milkshake we would have to come in the restaurant to sort it out which defeats the purpose of a 'Drive Thru'. In any other restaurant environment I've been in especially other McDonalds, when an employee puts through the wrong drink in the system this has never been an issue for a quick change and the time we were spoken to made it quite an unpleasant experience, will not be returning anytime soon.

Felt vulnerable in this restraunt when taking my kids for lunch. It's turned into a teenagers hang out.

Very quick and efficient staff . Arrived with a fairly big queue and the staff rattled through it in no time!!The down side was that the chips were cool as was my burger but I could see the staff were frantically dealing with a mass of people

I have been here scores of times. The staff are always friendly,warm and welcoming even when,clearly,rushed off their feet.Few restaurants cater for children as well.The meals are delicious and great value,particularly the Chicken Legend,and cheeseburger with chips and a delicious coffee or milkshake.The restaurant is spotless and the toilets are clean.The car park is adequate.

Needed an early breakfast so stopped here. Was greeted by a mumbling lad in a filthy food stained top. Not a welcoming impression. Maybe staff training and more awareness of appearance would not go amiss.The food was fine tho!
