Taste Pizza in West Lothian

Just picked up an order on what looked like a busy Sunday night, with only a small amount of staff, and the food was amazing ! We got the family pasta deal for £30 between three of us, and it was more than enough food and could have even fed a fourth person! The deal included two pastas (we got carbonara and ham and cheese pasta both with penne ) a 12 inch garlic pizza with cheese as a side, chips , a bottle of juice and two dips and everything was so tasty, staff were polite and friendly , and great value for money with this deal! Highly recommend, best takeaway we have had in a while !

Pizza toppings fell right off the pizza absolutely disgusting

This place has gone downhill so much after it was bought over. We've given it multiple chances since that time, and each time it's gotten steadily worse. It's a shame as this place used to offer the best pizzas in West Lothian, but you can tell they're using cheaper and worse ingredients (and charging more at the same time). The cheese is now like a hard layer of plastic that slides off the bread whenever you pick up a slice, and is honestly some of the worst pizza I've had in a long time. West End Fryer is now a much better local option for pizza, and it's a shame that a once-great pizza place is now being beaten by a local chippy.

Waited almost 3 hours for a dish of cheesy pasta and a small order of chips. Ordered online at 5:20pm and that’s my order just been delivered at 8pm!! Had to call and ask where my order was to be told - it’s just leaving now. Won’t be ordering again.

I have been to Edinburgh for my deputation, and suddenly I am hungry because of my long hours work. Searching for some good takeaway store nearby to order Pizza, and I found Taste Pizza. Being coming from the difference place, I am not the guy who is not a Pizza lover. But, after I bought Pizza from Taste Pizza. I started love to eat Pizza everyday from Taste Pizza when I am returning to my home. As name said, the pizza is tasty, amazing, and gorgeous. Love it.

Proper fired pizza!! Great tasting pizza and fast and friendly service. They also sell tubs of Ice Cream! Highly recommend

Ordered 8;16 pm door chapped with piping hot.pizza at 8:28 pm. Flabbergasted that was some rapid pizza making and delivering. Hats off to chefs pizza amazing as always, chips HOW DO you Make them SOOOO GOOD. Delivery driver friendly and smiling. Five stars all round.

1st time trying here, decided on the carbonara!! Well was very tasteless, hardly any bacon and cheese in huge clump cldnt mix, had to bin! I cld hv made better myself..1st time order maybe my last..Ordered from Scoffable so review also been out there! Such a let down..

Always order from here and tonight was no exception,normally so so good and tonight it was the worst I've had from here. Burnt chips burnt pizza, mozzarella on chips and cheese when expressly asked for cheddar. Normally so good as I say. New staff member ? After receiving a full new order unprompted and not asked for I amend this review. The new pizza was amazing as usual. Chips perfect and chips and cheese were as requested. I appreciate the endeavour to rectify the situation and will continue to get my pizzas from the best pizza place in town. We all have off days but it's how we fix things that matters. Appreciated.thank you

The best pizza I've ever eat in Scotland, real Italian pizza, great service! I went there after work to grab something for dinner, 10 mins waiting and my pizza was ready. Definetely will be back!

Great pizza made in a wood burning oven, my go to pizza place. Margarita and the veggie pizza are great, my favourite is the garlic pizza bread with mozzarella and jalapeño

Pasta and pizza was terrible the worse pasta I have tried shocking to be charging 9 pound for it can get a decent pasta 5 min over the road from Benkaz was offered them to remake however was already put off

Drove from Livingston to Whitburn to pick my order up and wasn't disappointed, Superb wood fired pizzas the way they are supposed to be, will definitely order again

Passing through Whitburn - never been before. Stopped because Taste Pizza looked good from the outside. Had to wait a bit because they were so busy. Not surprising because the pizza was amazing. The staff were really friendly despite being so busy. One of the best Desperate to Feed the Kids stops we've ever made!

Best pizza in whitburn by a mile, quick service and delivery.... Added bonus of their own delivery site so no surcharge.... Dont bother with their onion rings tho tiny portion and always undercooked...

Fantastic pizza with a lovely chewy dough and a crisp crust, exactly as it should be. Staff have always been very accommodating when dealing with them on the phone. Tiramisu is a hidden gem on the menu.

Quite possibly the best pizza I have ever had. Better than what I had in Venice or Mestre. Keep up the good work and you will have gained a customer for life. I just wish I was really fat so I could eat the 18". Perhaps add a 14" to the menu for those hungry days?

Place has really gone down hill 😕. Used to really rate this place but now serving staff are rude and service is ultra slow. Pizzas are not what they used to be either. Better places in whitburn for pizza nowadays. Lost me a a customer.

No social distancing, staff not wearing masks in close proximity, no screens and at one point six in a shop with capacity of two. Disgrace to the Whitburn community. Used to be much better. Will not be back as they have lost me as a customer. Recommend to give it miss and trying Pizza Bar attached to Tony's round the corner. Management should hand their heads in shame.

Have had the pizzas here a number of times and they were excellent however tonights was a massive let down. On delivery it was clear the pizza had not been delivered flat as toppings and cheese had slid off. I then had to put back into oven for around 8 mins so the Parma ham got a little crispy and the base firmed up as was still very soft I'm middle. Sorry guys but will be going elsewhere from now on.

Ordered on the app, delivered within 20 minutes, arrived very hot. Ordered an 18 inch margarita which would be plenty for 3 people. Very reasonably priced. Will definitely order again. Tasted so fresh, with a lovely base.

After waiting over 90 minutes we called and asked about our order and the woman was abrupt and said our order had been dispatched. The order was received after 2 hours and was wrong... We called and spoke to a woman who after discussion agreed the Manager would call back. The Manager called back within 5 mins and was very abrupt and matter of fact and though admitted they had sent the wrong order was dismissive of the issue. Poor customer service and unlike the Managers response to Daren W we did order regularly but won't be doing again and most definately won't recommend

They specified 1 hour delivery, it took two hours after multiple phone calls. The woman on the phone e had a really bad attitude and was not looking to be helpful at all. They have loads of reviews saying almost the same stuff, typical stuck In their ways Rude business who always know best.

***Avoid at all cost*** Ordered and was advised would be 1 hour for delivery, 2 hours later I had to cancel as it still didnt arrive. Customer service was terrible, I was advised they just got really busy. The service is an absolute joke!

The food here is pretty good. Not quite proper sour dough authentic crispy Tuscan Pizza. But really quite good. Worth a try

An hour and 40 minute wait for 2 small pizzas. Not good enough to be honest. When I complained I was offered 20% off my next order but I won't be ordering from there again so it's pointless. Tried to order at 4.20pm to avoid this happening but website wouldn't allow orders until 4.30 as that's when they open, so ended up closer to 5 by the time I ordered.

While the food has always been excellent I have been told never to order from them again as I dared to query where my order had got to when it was 40 minutes later than the time confirmed! Customer service skills seriously lacking both with the individual answering the phone and the alleged owner who was put on the phone after that. I don't know any business that can afford to offend customers in this way.

Have had the amazing cheesy beano! The best pizza ever. Best takeaway in west Lothian.

I have had various pizzas from taste and they ere all excellent. Taste make one of the best pizzas I have had including ones I've had in USA and Italy.

Give spicy Cajun pasta with cream (not tomato) it's excellent! Kids love the pizzas. I couldn't complain about anything! Everything is top class!

My family and I have been ordering food from Taste Pizza for months and we’re always pleased with the quality. Delivery can sometimes take a long time but it’s only because the place is so popular, and the food is ALWAYS worth the wait. Very reasonably priced, too.

They are a real deal. The dough is very tasty, they also seem to not save mpney on ingredients because you get pizza full of sweetcorn, mushrooms, chicken etc. The biggest pizza could easily be enough for 3+ people. And the price is not bad as well. The only one drawback is the base sause that seems to be too plain - a bit of garlic, oregano and basil would do the job. Nontheless 5 stars, a big competition for dominos.

First time using Taste. Pizza was distinctly average and delivery took over an hour from ordering...not for me.

Great quality freshly made pizza and the wood fired oven really enhances the taste. Best in town After the family returned from the airport it was closing time for the shop but it was no problem to get that last order in after hours
